(Leon's POV)

The man almost shit himself, though with such enthusiasm he was quite compliant with meeting my expectations.

My men stayed alert, though they were happy that the battle was over for now.

After speaking with the commander I left the tent and left him in the hands of some of my men.

It was needed to keep everything on track.

I didn't want any disruptions to occur again.

I started walking back to the carriage.

Luna greeted me with opening the door and rushing out to embrace me.

Her body tilted on against me, her feet on the stairs of the carriage.

It was a favorable greeting in my eyes, she and I held one another tightly.

The breath of relief floated out of both our mouths letting the ending of the battle set in.

I softly whispered in her ear almost as if it was going to be a kiss.

"Sorry I got off track.. I'll make it up to you later."

She tightened around my neck and didn't say a word.

The men and women guard around the carriage watched our display of affection.

Though I ended it after picking up Luna and speaking.

"I thank you all for your hard work, though that's not the end of your duty, we still have Latis to get through.!"

I walked in the carriage as they bowed.

We were off I didn't speak to Sir William before leaving, I already informed him of what to do from there beforehand.

Plus I felt kind of drained after fighting and just wanted to be on our way.
