After breakfast, Jenson went to work with his briefcase.

Carolina had no appetite. After Jenson left, she prepared to go to the hospital.

Candy was still in the hospital. There had been no news from Maverick lately. Yesterday, she tried to contact him but he was unconnected. She knew that Maverick had been fooling around with the secretary recently. He told her he was on a business trip, but who knew what he was doing.

She had someone follow him to Weirdale but didn't hear anything from him afterward.

Since Carolina had been together with Maverick for so many years, she knew it might be true that Maverick wasn't in the country as he often went to Italy and out of contact.

Thinking of this, Carolina was somewhat disappointed.

Miley raised her eyebrows and walked over. She might probably have guessed what Carolina was thinking about, so she provoked her intentionally. She had been taking care of Candy for many years, but she didn't expect that Candy could be so ungrateful.

'Forget it. Why do I take it seriously?' she thought.

Everly got off the plane with a haggard expression on her face.
