Everly couldn't help trembling.

There was only one handsome man to Edmond.

But now, she didn't want to see Maverick at all!

Plus Edmond was here!

Everly reacted almost instantly and had made an extremely stupid decision.

Pretended to be asleep!

At the first minute the thought slipped through her mind, her body reacted automatically. She straightened up and then immediately lay down, having the quilt covered her entire face.

She regretted it right away.

What's worse, Edmond knew that she had just woken up. As her son liked Maverick so much, she would definitely be given away in less than 30 seconds.

But it was too late, Maverick was already coming in with Edmond.

It was enough coming from the door to the inside of the room in a few seconds, even though the VIP ward was quite big.

Under the quilt that was filled with the smell of disinfectant, Everly felt that she had made the most stupid decision in the past 20 years.

"Yes, sir. What is your relationship with my mommy?"

Everly didn't know what to say.

Edmond seemed to worship Maverick for no reason.

Everly couldn't tell why. Maybe good-looking represented everything. Anyway, her son really liked him.

To Edmond, the handsome man that he had always wanted to introduce to his mommy was asking him what kind of relationship that he wanted it to be between them!

So he replied happily at once, "Couples, of course! Sir, Candy has told me that she doesn't have a mommy either. You guys are a perfect match!"

Everly was dumbfounded.

Edmond, please! Stop it!

"Sir, is it because of Candy that you know my mommy?" Edmond continued to ask.

Maverick was honest, "No."

"Maverick, I'm counting on you. Make it a while lie, please!" thought Everly.

However, Maverick glanced at the girl in bed and curled his lips, "I've known her for a long time."

Everly just wanted it to end immediately...

"Oh, really?" Edmond was very excited that his eyes were sparkling.

Maverick seemed to be in a good mood, "Well, I never lie."

Everly didn't even know how to react.

"Sir, I am not going to make the introduction anymore since you have known my mommy for long. I told you my mommy was amazing. I didn't lie to you, right?"

Edmond suddenly walked over the bed and tried to pull the quilt, "Mommy is probably shy. She has woken up and she has been eavesdropping. Well, Mommy, come out quickly. He won't laugh at you," said Edmond in a bitter tone.
