A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 67

Chapter 67

Leaning against the wall outside the toilet, Sage wished she was anywhere near Yeva, who stank.

Realizing that she was lying on the toilet bowl, Yeva frowned in disgust. Just when she tried to get up onto her feet, her legs gave way.

“Ah!” Yeva groaned in pain. Looking down, she noticed the bruises on her knees.

The pain knocked Yeva back to her senses.

Scenes from last night flashed across her eyes.

She remembered how she had shouted at Sage.

She remembered how Sage had watched her.

She remembered how Miss Zamora had the guards drag her to the toilet and proceeded to keep her there.

She also remembered throwing up, the guards taking care of her, and proceeding to keep her in the toilet despite her begging and pleas.

“My God!” thought Yeva to herself.

Yeva felt as if her world had come crashing down on her. Did she really spend an entire night kneeling by the toilet bowl?

She looked at Sage with resentment and fear.,

How cruel and ruthless did one need to be to be able to do such a thing?

Sage slept well last night and she was in a good mood. She was ready to teach Yeva a lesson. Still leaning against the wall, Sage waited for Yeva to get to her feet.

“Seems like you finally recalled what happened.”

Fixing her clothes, Sage said coldly, “Then you must recall how you had offended me, right?”

Offended?

Touching her swollen knees and stiff neck, Yeva then looked at her crumpled dress. She despaired.

Glancing over at Sage who was dressed cleanly, Yeva felt even devastated.

As if intending to humiliate Yeva, Sage was dressed in a blue blouse and a pair of white trousers. Her skin was radiant. How was it that Sage could look so good in anything?

Yeva desperately wanted to start a fight with Sage, but she knew that she would lose right away.

She also wanted to curse at her, but she did not have the courage to do so.

Back then when Sage had adored her, Yeva had thought that Sage was an easy opponent.

Now that she had gotten on Sage’s bad side, Yeva finally got a taste of how cruel and ruthless Sage could be.

“So what is it that you want? Do you want me to apologize?”

Yeva’s eyes were bloodshot as she glared furiously at Sage. There was no way that Yeva was willing to apologize to Sage.

Rolling up her sleeves to reveal her fair arms, Sage shook her head gently. “Oh no. Rather than getting an insincere apology from you, I think that physical punishment works better on you.”

Shoving her hands into her pockets, Sage stared into Yeva’s eyes. She was radiating elegance and sophistication.

“I’ve tried lecturing and even starving you, but none of that worked. Even though I don’t agree with corporal punishment as part of education, I think this method will work best with a stubborn girl like you.”

Sage went on, “Your parents got a divorce when you were a child, and your dad did not teach you well. I’m considered your elder, so I’m responsible for educating you.”

Yeva scoffed, “How are you going to educate me? And who are you to do so?”

“Miss Sage, I’ve got what you asked for.” Miss Zamora showed up right at the moment. Taking a glimpse at what she was holding, Yeva froze with her eyes wide open.

“You’re here just in time. Thanks, Miss Zamora.”

Sage took the item from Miss Zamora and said to Yeva, “With this thing right here.”

With a look implying that Sage must be crazy, Yeva stared at her Sage in disbelief.

Sage had Miss Zamora get a ferule and had even put together a book of house rules. Yeva would be punished accordingly if she broke any of the house rules.
