A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 124

Chapter 124

*The wounds…?” Yeva said. Her voice trembled.

“I caused them,” Sage confirmed.

Sage lightly shook her head, “They were easy to tackle. It didn’t take long for them to get to their feet. I didn’t even have to do much. Cowards, am I right?”

Yeva looked at Sage, unable to read her expression, but Yeva was terrified. Yeva shivered. She felt as if ticks were crawling all over

her.

Once again, she had totally underestimated Sage. She was a fierce opponent. It was not that Brody’s men were weak.

Never had Yeva thought that it would end in this manner. Rather than Sage begging for mercy, the hijackers were the ones begging for their lives.

Yeva was out of her mind!

“Brody…” Yeva bit her lip and looked up at Sage. “How are you planning to deal with him?”

Sage looked at her and answered, “Cops, of course. The law will deal with punks like him.”

Yeva’s eyes were blown wide open. She stuttered, “What about me?”

“You were an accomplice to murder, and if they do prove your guilt, you will be locked away for a long time,” said Sage and added,” IU deal with you by way of the family rules first. Brody and Minnie should have been apprehended by now. We’d better hurry up so you can join them.”

Yeva had thought that Sage would pardon her, but upon hearing Sage’s intention of sending her to the cops, she lost it. She clutched Sage’s hands and begged for forgiveness. Tears formed rivers as they streamed down her face.

Seeing that Sage had not reacted to her pleas, Yeva crawled toward her, “Sage, I beg you! Hit me. Hit me anyhow you want. Just don’t send me to the cops, please!” she cried, dripping tears and mucus ‘everywhere.

.

Sage tapped the ruler on the bedside. Yeva wiped off her tears and lay on the bed facing downwards.

“Please hit me as hard as you can, so I’ll remember forever!!

As requested, Sage hit her mercilessly. Yeva felt the most excruciating pain she had ever felt in her entire life. It got increasingly worse with each hit.

At the hundredth hit, Sage used all her strength when she hit Yeva’s bottom. Yeva let out a pained cry. Her voice had tumed hoarse from all the screaming.

“I’ll let you go this time, Yeva. Remember, fool me twice, I will return the favor tenfold.” Sage warned Yeva and continued, “No more next time. You will lose everything you have if this happens again. Mark my words.”

Yeva remained face down. She was now sweating buckets, and her tears had soaked her sheets.

Once Sage left her room, Yeva punched the bed several times out of anger. It was unclear if she would ever remember Sage’s warning, but humiliation was the one thing that she would never forget. Sage would not be lucky forever. One day, she will have her revenge!
