A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 135

Chapter 135

Hunter reported to Sage about the situation over at Brody Liam’s.

The hijackers confessed as soon as they saw the cops. They seemed more than happy to stay in jail forever than see Sage ever again.

Sage Norah was brutal.

The cops were confused at first. They thought the hijackers were victims as they had multiple wounds all over them.

The cops were going to warn Mr. K and the guards that lynching was illegal, but they never would have thought all these hijackers were beaten up by the same woman.

Just the one

It was embarrassing, but it was the truth. These hooligans never thought they would be defeated by a woman

With the complete list of witnesses and evidence, Brody and Minnie were charged with manslaughter and were locked up instantly.

Brody accused Minnie of plotting the whole thing on her own. He said that she hired the hijackers on her own with his name.. Brody denied knowing anything about the plan and the whole thing has nothing to do with him.”

Hunter scoffed as he explained it to Sage.

“How could he have said that?” Leah looked disgruntled and added, “What did Minnie say then?”

What can she say?” Hunter asked as he shook his head. “They probably colluded as the plan failed, and Brody probably paid her off well too. Minnie couldn’t say no to the Liam family. Even if she refuses to do so and brings Brody to court, Lionel Liam wouldn’t let her off easily. She had to choose the easier way out,” Hunter added.

Leah shivered with the thought of this dirty business Minnie had to deal with.

“Sage…” Leah tumed over her head to Sage, looking worried, “Brody might seek revenge on you again What are we going to do. about him?”

Sage kept quiet the entire time. She answered calmly, “Don’t worry, he’s not going to be let out easily. Even if he was found not guilty, he’s not able to hurt me. You are overestimating him.”

She’s not even worried about Lionel Liam, not to mention that cowardly son of his.

Upon arrival at the Norah Group offices, Lionel was seen waiting anxiously for Sage. He dashed towards Sage as he saw her walking into the lobby.

The security guards blocked him out of the way.

“Sage, Miss Sage.” Lionel, held by the guards, yelled loudly, “Miss Sage, I beg of you, please have mercy on my son. My son had no idea who he was dealing with, please let him go!” Sage strutted off, not even one glance at Lionel.
