A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 161

Chapter 161

Jace received updates from Norah group’s meeting.

“Did Sage win?”

“Yes she did.” Zayne reenacted the scene at the Norah Group’s conference room. He added gleefully, “You should’ve seen her performance. Both Braxton and Norah were completely defeated and left speechless. Don’t think they’d ever recover from that.”

Jace smiled as he heard how Sage handled it. He knew how good Sage was with her words, as he experienced it first-hand.

“I think Mrs. Sage doesn’t need our help handling her uncles anymore. You don’t have to worry a thing about her,” said Zayne.

Sage looked down and sighed with mixed emotions. On one hand, he’s glad that Sage had a determined and stem personality. But o n the other, she won’t be needing him anymore as she’d grown more and more independent. He felt helpless.

After moments of silence, he ordered, “Get someone to follow Braxton and Zane: After today’s humiliation, they won’t be letting gos o easily. Make sure they are observed and keep Sage safe.”

“Yes boss, “Zayne responded, “Will do.”

Jace nodded and continued working. Zane stood beside him, wanting to say something. *Anything else?” asked Jace. Zane replied after a pause, “Doctor said you’re healing well. We can check out of here anytime.” Oh,’ said Jace without looking up. He chopped signed at the last page of his document and said lightly, “There’s no rush. I’ll stay for two more days to make a full recovery.”

Zane immediately understood and said, “Got it. I’ll inform Miss Sage that doctor needed to do more checkups, and you need to stay for a couple more days.”

Jace let out a satisfactory smile, “Go.”

As Zane made his way out, Jace added, “Oh yes. Tell Sage that I wish to have some fish stew, I heard that’s good for recovery.”

….Got it,” Zane responded and added, “Sir, do you want to put in a request with Mrs. Sage’s temperament? Aren’t you afraid she might cut you up and put your parts in the stew?” ..

Meanwhile, Vice CEO Finn Jansen walked into Sage’s office as soon as she did.

Finn was demoted to the branch offices at Posie City recently because he said something to Jace that offended Sage.

“Miss Norah, I heard Braxton is back. Did they make things difficult for you?” Finn looked anxiously worried. Sage turned on her computer and didn’t respond.

Hunter replied, “Nothing happened. They’re no match for our CEO. After a few heated exchanges, they finally stopped making causing trouble.”

“Stop? You don’t know them at all. When did my two uncles ever stop causing troubles?” Sage said in a cold tone. Hunter stood up straight, and Finn looked up to her with a solemn facial expression, “Miss Norah! Please transfer my position back to the headquarters! You need me by your side at times like this,” Finn locked his eyes at Sage, begging for his position back.
