Sage sighed. Is there someone who can solve her problems instead of causing them?

Moments later, Hunter came back and said he finally got into Finn’s head and he went back to Posie City. He observed Sage’s expressions and tried soft-talking her, “Miss Sage, Finn was… trying to do good, and not betray you. Please forgive him.”

Sage replied without looking up, “Are you trying to beg on behalf of him?” Hunter smiled wryly and answered, “Finn deeply regretted his action, and blamed himself for being a blabbermouth. He even slapped himself on the face. You’re killing him for putting him in exile. Plus we need him now by your side…” “You feel for him?” said Sage coldly, “If you did what he did, I will be sending you straight to Africa instead.”

“I’m fine with that.”

Sage burst into laughter and said, “Get off!”

Hunter scratched his head.

“Okay, well, stop fooling around” Sage said as she passed a bag of documents to Hunter, “These are part of the projects managed by Braxton in Posie City. Get Finn to investigate if there are any hanky-panky businesses involved.”

Hunter agreed and said, “I knew it, you won’t be demoting Finn without a reason. You should just tell him he’s playing detective,” said Hunter

“If Finn’s the cop then what am I?” Sage glared at Hunter.

“The Queen herself!” said Hunter.

Sage flew her palm over at Hunter but he dodged.

“Go now,” said Sage with a serious tone, “Braxton and Zane will be plotting against me after what happened today. Keep an eye on them and report back to me if found anything.”

Hunter nodded and left the office.

Sage’s phone rang. It was Zayne calling. She furrowed her brows and picked up the phone, and she heard Zayne telling her his boss’s shameless request.

Upon hearing the request for fish stew, Sage gritted her teeth and said, “Fish stew? Fine! You pray that he won’t choke on the food.” said Sage.
