A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 168

Chapter 168

When Sage looked up, she was met with a beautiful woman dressed haughtily with long silky hair. She had sunglasses on and

intentionally looked down to hide her face. Yet, she was still easily recognizable.

She was – and still is – the hottest celebrity and talk of the town, Suki West. She was everywhere, anyone could spot her in the theatres and even at the airport, it was hard not to know who Suki West was

Suki was slightly taken aback when she realized it was Jace. So she quickly greeted with a smile, “Hi, Mister Yuriel.”

Jace looked nervously at Sage, not intending to reply Suki. He could not have her misunderstand the relationship between Suki and him again

Suki looked at Jace and followed in his eyesight’s direction at Sage. Her face froze as she realized it was Sage. “It’s you!”

Sage calmly asked with a slight frown, “Do we know each other?”

Women can sense the off putting energy of other women easily. Be it friendly, or hostile. However, Sage was uncertain how she felt about Suki.

Suki realized perhaps she was unintentionally overly analyzing everything as Jace stood in front of Sage, who looked at her coldly. She smiled and said, “Everyone knows the famous Miss Norah from the Norah Group, but you may not know who I am.”.

wh words, Everyone knows the famous Miss Weg

Miss West, the huge celebrity How could I not know?’

Suki looked at Sage with an odd feeling that bubbled in her heart.

She gave Sage a onceover, and she did not appear to be like the “Sage” she heard about: A

The escalator went down normally Hunter and Zayne stood aside, faces bright red as they laid sight on Suki. As the doors opened again, Suki smiled and left the escalator, both Sage and Jace immediately snapped their fingers at both of the boys thereafter, Stop looking, your eyeballs are going to fall off!”

Hunter and Zayne got snapped into reality but were štílfextremely thrilled to have encountered a top-tiered celebrity, “Wow, that was Suki West! I never thought I’d see her in real life, and take the very same elevator with her. It was like a dream come true!” said Hunter.

Hunter nodded passionately and said, “She looked way prettier than on screen, right? I think she’s one of those naturally photogenic celebrities.”

“That’s right!” Hunter agreed excitedly, “She was our dream girl back in college! I.can’t believe she’s maintained this look after all these years.”

“If anything, the years did well for her. She looked almost better!” said Zayne.

Both Zayne and Hunter almost forgot they were with their bosses when they spoke. They finally realized it as they walked by the car and felt something was wrong. Sage and Jace were looking down at them with their arms crossed on top of the stairs.

Sage said to Jace, “I think I need a new assistant.”

Jace replied, “Agreed. Do you need any recommendations?”

“Absolutely, I need someone smarter than my ex-assistant,” said Sage. “Well, mine’s even worse, so get in line,” said Jace.

Hunter and Zayne both smiled wryly and invited their bosses to the car. Both Sage and Jace smirked as they saw their assistants’ silly faces. They coincidentally looked at each other and stopped smiling. They never realized how similar or even tacit they were a t times.

As the car arrived at the hospital, Jace turned over and found an invitation card in his coat pocket. He then passed it to Sage.

“Sage, will you be my date at the Rose Festival in three days?” Sage looked up at the bright red card curiously. Jace’s eyes were filled with anticipation as hers filled with heartfelt emotions.
