Hunter nodded in agreement. As he turned back, he saw Jace standing not too far away.

Jace heard every single word Sage said to Hunter. He might as well come in person. He knew Sage was kept busy for the entire afternoon, and he didn’t want to disturb her, so Jace decided to keep himself busy backstage. But how could Sage not eat something?

Jace said quietly, “You have to remember to eat something even if you’re busy,” Sage snapped impatiently, “Mr. Yuriel, please don’t worry about me. We have food here, and I’ll eat when I

get to.”

She was irritated at his words.

Sage just received a bunch of messages all from the Yuriel family members. They were all congratulating her on the launch.

What was he trying at? Jace took out the disposable fork and spoon and started eating. “Come eat, stop staring at me!” All the staff and workers looked in Jace’s direction and said, “Thank you for the coffee, Mr. Yuriel.” “Thank you for the apple strudels, Mr. Yuriel!” “Hope you’ll be accepted by our Miss Sage soon!” one staff even teased. Casually, Jace raised his coffee mug and said, “Thank you.”

The girls were all mesmerized by his simple gesture and that handsome face, they all gasped,” Oh, my god! How I wish this is happening to me!” “Our Miss Sage is so blessed for having such a handsome man pursuing her love, how she’d manage to resist…”

Sage thought to herself, these guys are useless! So easily bought by a few pastries and coffee, all siding him already?  Jace was also one to blame for being shameless and scheming. Sage thought to herself, she couldn’t let him stay any longer. God knows what he’li do next!

Unable to hold it any longer, Sage stood up suddenly and looked down at Jace, “You, follow

me.”

Jace looked at his lunch box and said, “but I’m not done eating.”

Sage looked at him coldly. “You can resume later. “ Jace thought to himself he should go now before it became too late. He wiped his mouth and followed Sage backstage. He adjusted his collar as he walked in. The next second, he got pulled in by a hand.
