An abundance of rain poured down on Salem City. Jace and his assistant Zayne were drenched to the skin. Zayne held an umbrella next to Jace, but he refused to be covered by it. Zayne was only able to block the wind for him, but unexpectedly the wind was too strong, and he wasn’t able to hold it anymore. “Mr. Yuriel, please get back into the car, the rain is too heavy!” Zayne was frustrated at his boss’ stubbornness. To him, safety always comes first.

To be frank, he felt that being drenched by the rain is a stupid way to gain Sage’s attention, like some soapy drama. He would much rather take a beating, but he used that one before.
