A Trust-fund Baby novel Chapter 78

"Clark, Are you kidding me?" Old Lady Shaw smiled awkwardly.

Clark shook his head seriously, “Old Lady Shaw, I am not kidding. In the future if you want to continue to cooperate with the Plummer family, please talk to my father directly. I am leaving now."

Clark said to Diana, "Miss Diana, I have something to say to you. Would it be convenient for you to have dinner with me? You may rest assured that I have nothing but my best wishes for you and Mr. Judson. Please believe me!"

Diana looked at the serious Clark and said, “Ok, I will go with you."

Old Lady Shaw took two steps back.

Sally took a deep look at Clark. She found Clark was physically weak. His legs were trembling, his head was covered with cold sweat and the right leg had faint blood. She immediately understood that Judson must have found him last night. Otherwise, Clark would not appear today on this attitude.

Sally took a long sigh of relief. Her clenched fist loosed.

Sally was in a good mood. In Old Lady Shaw's office, she burst into laughter, "Hahaha."

Sally did not say a word to Old Lady Shaw again. Her laughter had said everything. And Old Lady Shaw was sitting on a chair helplessly.

Sally said to Diana, "Ok, Diana, I will go first. You talk to Clark. He can be a friend. And don't you ever come here again. Dare you come here again, don't recognize me as your mother!" Sally said and went straight away.

Although Sally said in a severe tone, Diana, from Sally's words, felt the warmth with maternal love. She smiled and nodded at Sally. "Ok, Mom, I see. Go back and have a good rest."

After Sally left, Diana went out with Clark. When they walked to the door of the Shaw’s company, unexpectedly they met Robbie.

Robbie smiled to Clark and said, "Clark, I wish you happiness with Diana."

"Fuck off." Clark directly lashed out, slapped on Robbie's face mercilessly. And then he left without looking back.

After Clark and Diana had gone far, Robbie was still covering his face, puzzled.

.

Half an hour later, Clark and Diana sat opposite each other in the Star Room of Half-Moon Hotel in N City, with dozens of delicate dishes on the table.

Luna received a phone call from Judson this morning and let her cancel the restrictions on Clark. And he had booked Star Room.

Diana looked at the brilliant atmosphere of the top room, and then looked at the table with dozens of delicate dishes on it. For a moment she could not recover at all. She knew about the Half-Moon Hotel, she had heard of it in the SKY City. And she also heard from her colleagues that Half-Moon Hotel opened a branch in N City. And it was also a five-star hotel. And the most luxurious private room was Star Room!

She could not understand why Clark brought her here. It wouldn't be necessary to apologize to her with this. It's too luxurious.

Diana could not help asking, "Clark, isn't it too expensive for you to bring me here? I don't think it is not necessary."

Clark stood up and smiled at Diana. "I'm sorry, Miss Diana, I lied to you. It is not me to ask you here."

Diana was in doubt. She asked, “Who?"

At this moment the door of the private room of Star Room was pushed open. The next moment, Judson walked in, “Who else could it be? It is me."

Judson smiled at Diana and blinked his eyes. Diana covered her mouth in surprise, looking lovely.

"You..You.." Diana pointed to Clark, and then to Judson. She was in doubt.

And then Clark greeted to Judson respectfully, “Mr. Judson."

Judson nodded to Diana and said, “He is my friend."

Clark was ecstatic when he heard Judson said he was Judson’s friend. Judson patted Clark on the shoulder and said, “Go back. Have a good rest."

Clark nodded excited, respectfully clinking out of the private room.

Only Diana and Judson were in the room. Diana immediately was embarrassed, and she even dared not look up to see Judson.

He only said in a very low voice, "You, You know all about that?"

Judson went up to Diana, leaned forward and lowered his head to Diana's ear and said, "What do you think? I said I would never let you be wronged in my life. Do you think I am kidding?"

Judson’s tone became serious.

He was really a little scared to think of that. If it wasn't for Sally telling him, Diana would absolutely hide from him. Then she would obey Old Lady Shaw's arrangement without telling him.

If things really developed into that, he would not dare to think the consequences.

Judson was angry with Diana. Looking at Diana who was about to cry by being scolded by him, Judson said with a smile, “I am kidding. Let’s have meal."

Judson was afraid that Diana cried. He swore that he would not let this woman shed tears, especially in front of him!
