Linda tugged at Charles Mu's sleeves behind him to hint that she agreed with what his father just said.

It was only until then did Charles Mu drop the idea of revealing what Amy Qi had done.

He stared at James Mu and Bob Qi for three seconds and beckoned Paul to get down from the stage with the laptop.

Amy's heart almost missed a beat. There must be something against her in the USB flash drive. If what's in it had been exposed to so many people, the Qi clan would have become the everyone's laughingstock.

She had planned to insult Linda by these pictures, but didn't expect to shoot herself in the foot.

Linda was rendered speechless. She had not even married to Charles yet.

And she was already interfering with her life, including telling her how to sit. Linda was concerned about how things would go after she married into this family.

But Linda knew it meant that Violet Xing had already accepted her as her daughter-in-law. It was just that some of Linda's behaviors didn't sit well with Violet.

"Amy, tell us what's going on, " said James Mu as he thought that if Amy could give a reasonable explanation he was going to let the whole thing slide for the sake of both families years-long friendship.

Amanda Zhang moved closer to her daughter, gently stroked her redden cheek and then she whispered, "Amy, have you figured out how to spin your story?"

"Yes, " Amy took a deep breath.

Amy was a quick-witted person. She tried to look pitiable with her eyes full of tears and said, "Lord Mu, Lady Violet, Charles, I really didn't do it, but I am partly to blame as the photos were indeed leaked from my place. A few days ago, I received an anonymous e-mail with these photos in it. It said that Linda once worked for the Crown Club as a whore. I was shocked and then put them away. But I didn't expect one of my servants... was evil enough to have stolen these photos and disclosed them on the engagement party."

While she's saying, tears begun to rolled down her checks as if she was telling the truth.

"Just knock if off, will you? I've had enough of your garbage. Why didn't you deliver them to father directly if you were truly looking out for the Mu clan? why did you have to pull this crap today?"

Retorted Linda as she spat the grape skin out. Linda was no dumb blonde. She knew the Mus would not ask Amy to pay for what she had done for the sake of the relationship between the Qi and the Mu clan.

But still, Linda felt she had to sort her out, So that Amy Qi would know that she's not a pushover.

The "father" Linda was referring to was certainly James Mu.

"Linda, why do you always target at me? You even pushed and called me names when we met at the toilet today!" said Amy as she ripped off the dressing from her forehead. Her purple bruise was exposed.

Hearing what she just said, Linda picked up a grape, peeled it slowly and said, "I called you names?" "

"Of course! How can I make the bruise by myself?" said Amy as she tipped her chin upward.

Linda glanced at people present and managed to squeeze out some tears as quickly as she could.

"Darling, she's trying to frame me!"

Charles Mu looked at Linda with a smile.

This move of Linda was unexpected.

He thought she would attack Amy Qi with her sharp tongue, but instead she held his arms with tear-filled eyes.

Her pitiable look melted Charles's heart.

"There's no need to worry. I am here with you."

If eyes could kill people, Amy would have killed Linda over 100 times. Now Amy was staring at Linda with her red-rimmed eyes.

Amy went crazy when she heard Linda called Charles "Darling".

Linda glanced at Amy Qi who was on the brink of losing her mind and said, "You want to say that I am using my husband's influence to bully you, right? Well, we should let the evidence do the talking then."

After saying that, Linda shouted at the door, "Bun, bring me a laptop."

Thirty seconds later, Bun knocked at the door and walked in with a laptop in her hands.

Linda lowered her head with a light smile and twisted the dragon head ring on her finger, "Turn on the bluetooth. I've got some audio clips. Lady Qi accused me of calling her names. Let's see whether it's true."
