A Vengeful Girl novel Chapter 102

Violet had been very angry.

But it had been a long time since then. She always thought highly of Amy, for Amy was obedient and adorable, so her anger had gradually faded away.

When she finished her last slice of orange, Violet stood up and aproached Amy.

"If you really like Charles, chase him in a normal way. The first time you drugged him, and the second time you exposed their erotic photos, which has undermined the reputation of the Mu clan. No wonder Charles thinks badly of you."

Amy was both regretful and scare in equal measure, and tears started to stream down her cheeks. "Mother, it won't happen again. I really like Charles. That's the only reason why I have done all these."

"Charles has got engaged with Linda Xia and he truly loves her. Although I don't like her, I have to respect the decision he has made. So...... You have to let it go. Amy, I know you're a decent girl. You will find your own happiness one day."

Violet signed and squatted down. She pat Amy on the head, which had made Amy cry even louder. Putting her arms around Violet, Amy then started to whimper.

Violet felt bad for her. She knew full well how it felt not being able to be with the one you loved.

"Listen. Go back home, and get packing. Return to England and continue your study. Your holiday are almost over. Don't come back in the next few years."

Bob looked at his daughter with a long face. He couldn't stand seeing her suffering, but he was also angry, for she was far out of line this time. He had never expected her daughter to make such a mess.

In his heart, Amy would always be adorable. She had always obeyed her parents since childhood. But she had changed since she met Charles. Bob could never figure out why she was so obsessed with him.

Maybe just because people always adore those they cannot get.

"Father, I still have a month before my holiday ends!" Amy was reluctant to leave. Her eyes reddened as a result of crying.

"It's settled."

Bob hailed to James. He repeated his apology before leaving with his wife and daughter.

After today, the Qis would be made the laughing stock of the whole business community of SH City.

To everyone's surprise, Amy Qi, the daughter of Qi clan, had resorted to some foul means in order to ruin Master Mu's engagement ceremony.

When they returned home, Bob booked the first flight to England the next day for his daughter. He urged her to continue her study and stopped thinking about Charles.

Amy still had two years left before she finished her degree.

Normally, Amy would return to China twice a year. Owing to this incident, Bob forbade her to come back before she got her degree.

It pained Amanda to see Amy leave with a resentful and saddened look on her face. But Bob was quite determined. So Amanda had no means but to find a chance later to bring her daughter back.

She knew Amy's love for Charles won't die away. Even Bob sent her to England, she still would try every means to come back.

In Amanda's mind, the only thing she could do for her daughter was to help Amy gain Charles affection.

The engagement ceremony ended right before nine o'clock.

Upon arriving home, Charles received a phone call with unidentified caller ID.

But Charles seemed not surprised.

He picked up the phone. The voice on the other side sound sarcastic, "Charles, you bastard. Now you have a beautiful wife, you forget your brother?"

"We left in a hurry. Sorry to leave you behind." Charles nodded indifferently. His tone was icy, yet an unconscious smile hung on his face.

"Haha, brother. It's been two years since I last saw you. You haven't changed a bit. Are you free toonight? Beer?"

"At your place."

Charles was astonished at the moment, but after a second he nodded, "fine."

Soon they saw Brian casually walked into the living room with two hands in his pockets.

"Big brother, long time no see." He stared at Charles with his intoxicating eyes.

"Second brother, very nice to see you." Charles smiled.

Linda was puzzled. What? Big brother? Second brother? What on earth is their relationship......

Brian approached Charles and pat him on the shoulder. Smiling, he said, "Introduce us?"

"My wife." Charles put his hand round Linda's waist, and then he directed his look towards Brian.

"Name!"

"You don't need to know her name. All you need to know is she's my wife."

Brian laughed, his beautiful eyes narrowed. He cast a glance at Linda, and said, "Big brother. I have no intention to steal your wife."

"Who knows?" Said Charles with a serious face.

The second young master of Ho clan was known for being a playboy. It was said that he had dated more woman than one could imagine. He used to date many women, only to leave them heart-broken afterwards.

Brian couldn't help but smile. He came up behind Charles and reached his hand to Linda, "Hi, My name's Brian Ho. I'm Charles's sworn brother. You can call me Second Brother."

"Hi, little junior." Linda smiled at Brian.

Brian was apparently stunned by her words. The corners of his mouth twitched, "Little Junnior?"

"Right...... You call my husband Big brother. So what's the problem with me calling you little junior?" Linda blinked her sparkling eyes as she answered.

He was struck dumb by her explanation......

"Paul, go fetch a case of beer." Smiling, Charles ordered.

"Yes, Young Master, "

In the garden, servants had laid a large-sized table cloth on the ground, on which Charles and Brian sat.

"What a pity! Beer without snacks." Brian grabbed a bottle of beer. He opened the lid with his tooth and chugged it.

In Linda's eyes, when Brian was doing this, he was like an enchanting woman drinking wine.

"snacks? I can make some. I'll leave you two have your little chat."

It must have been long time since they last met, so they should have a lot to say. Linda headed to the kitchen, planning to cook something for them. It just so happened she was hungry, too.

Brian raised his head and laughed, "Linda. You are such a good wife! You can cook? Charles. Where did you find her?"

Charles didn't reply. Heading to the kitchen, Linda turned her head and laughed, "I was given to him as a free gift when he topped up his phone."
