A Vengeful Girl novel Chapter 193

The three teams were arranged, with Linda in the middle, Bun on the left and Robert on the right.

The senior teacher in charge of the winter camp asked with smile, "Everyone, are you ready?"

The teachers answered in unison, "Ready!"

"Come on Linda, should I go easy on you?" Robert asked with a smirk on his face, which made Linda laugh. She squinted at the bright sun and said, "Don't underestimate me. You'll be eating my dust soon."

Bun chuckled too. "Robert, don't be overconfident. If you lose to any of us, your ego will be ruined."

The three were close together, so their conversation could not heard by other teachers, who thought they were just chatting.

Robert smiled at Bun's taunt, "I can't compete with you Bun, you are an army colonel, and I'm just an ordinary man." They all laughed.

The competition was about to begin after two whistles. Linda, Robert and Bun stopped talking and got ready in the last minute.

Linda warmed up a little.

She stood in front of her team, in her yellow team t-shirt. Her stunning beauty drew everyone's attention.

Most students gawked at her and thought she was as beautiful as a fairy.

With one whistle and one gunshot, Linda sprinted, but felt tired just after she started. Before she finished 100 meters, she began to feel nauseated and dizzy.

However, she still tried to finish the competition because she thought the reason for her fatigue was due to the fact that she hadn't been running for a long time.

It wasn't a secret that someone could easily get tired doing strenuous exercise after a long period without partaking in sports. Linda thought she would recover once she had some rest after the competition.

But she couldn't hold on and fainted unexpectedly, before she finished.

Everyone around her was scared "Help! Miss Xia has fainted."

Bun, who was about to finish the race, turned back and sprinted to Linda. Dropping to her knees, Bun cradled Linda's head and asked "My La... Miss Xia, what's wrong?" Linda couldn't speak, so Bun tried to lift her up from the ground.

Linda felt dizzy and the whole world seemed to be spinning around her.

"I don't know. I just felt sick, disgusted and eager to vomit." Linda responded, almost in a whisper.

Although she fainted, she quickly recovered her consciousness.

Robert had also turned back, and was standing beside Bun when she tried to lift Linda off the ground. Robert saw that Linda had turned as pale as a sheet. He was worried.

"What's wrong Linda? How are you feeling?"

Linda shook her head and responded, "Still a bit nauseated but i'll be okay. I don't know what just happened. Maybe it's because I haven't run in a while..." But before she could say another word, Linda fainted again. This time, she didn't wake up for a few minutes. Bun and Robert tried to make sure that she was breathing, but there was nothing more they could do but wait. When Linda came too, she began puking, heavily.

"Okay, we need an ambulance. Someone call the ambulance." Robert called out.

Bun kneeled there helpless, holding back Linda's hair as she puked.

However, a teacher next to them broke their hope, "You can't call an ambulance in such a remote area, if you need to go to the hospital, you would have to go by foot, since the coaches have left."

"Where's the nearest hospital?" Bun asked at once.

"More than 1 km from here." The same teacher answered. Bun stood up. "Miss Xia, we need to take you to the hospital. Can someone please bring a paper bag?" Instantly, a student handed a paper bag to Bun, who gave it to Linda.

"I'll need to carry you because you are too weak to move. C'mon, hop on." Linda couldn't help but giggle, but this was soon followed by more puke. This time she caught it in the paper bag. Linda climbed on Bun's back. Bun braced herself to start running

But Robert stopped her.

"Bun, let me do this. After all, you are just girl."

Bun dodged his hand and refused, "Thank you, but I can do it myself. We both know that what I am capable of."

"Bun, with all due respect, let a man do this."

"I'm okay Robert. Take care of the children and I will take Miss Xia to the hospital. Don't make a fuss." Bun looked at Robert, and he knew what she meant. He took the hint and stepped back.

Soon after, Bun began running with Linda on her back.

Robert was still worried and feared that they would run into trouble, although his concerns were misplaced. Bun was more than capable of taking care of Linda, she was an army colonel. But Robert just wanted to make sure. So, he notified the other teachers.

"Wait a moment. I have been here before and are familiar with this place. Let me guide you there." Amber added.
