After Being Cheating novel Chapter 227

Lola and Harry immediately drove toward the Shao's mansion.

When they arrived at Mansion No. 8, Janet was upstairs in her bedroom, playing on WeChat with her phone. Meanwhile, the four elders occupied themselves with the twins on the ground floor.

Lola discreetly told Ella about the plan of having their kids go and climb mountains. She then suggested, "When they go on their trip, let me come and take the twins to the manor to play with them. Then, I'll send them back to you at night. What do you think?"

Although she was the grandmother of the twins, Lola was determined to stay by Janet's side, not her son's.

Since Janet didn't want Daniel to know about the twins, Lola would try her best to keep the secret from Daniel.

Without hesitation, Ella agreed with her suggestion. After all, Lola was the grandmother of the twins, and she had probably wanted to spend time with them.

After their discussion, Harry and Lola left the mansion. Janet didn't even know that they went to her house at all.

On their way back to the manor, Lola thought for a while and looked at her husband, who was driving the car, and said, "Jane had given us two granddaughters. We have to treat her even better from now on. And, we should also help improve the relationship between Janet and Daniel."

Harry nodded and said, "Haven't we just discovered and mined some special diamonds? You can take some and have them made into jewellery. Then, you can give it to Jane."

Like Lola, Janet also didn't like wearing gold or silver jewellery. But they noticed that she put on earrings and bracelet from time to time.

"What about earrings?" suggested Lola. She remembered that Janet pretty much loved the earrings she gave her the last time.

Harry nodded in agreement.

Lola then sighed and complained, "These should have been done by Daniel, our dishonorable son! But now, I have to do these instead of him. He really is such a pain in the ass!"

But, for their bright future, Lola was willing to do all these things for them.

"Keep a close eye on your son. Don't let him do anything wrong to Jane again, and get that secretary, Shirley Zheng, away from him!" said Harry. He had despised that secretary ever since. He couldn't believe that she could betray her own best friend.

Lola nodded, "But I heard that girl works hard, and is an asset to the company. Let's just have her transferred to another department."

Lola wasn't cruel; she didn't want Shirley to lose her job all of a sudden, since she knew that Shirley wasn't well-off.

Harry grabbed his wife's hand and said, "Fine, it's up to you."

"Okay, no matter what happens, I'll only admit Jane as my daughter-in-law. I will help Jane get rid of all the women who are close to Daniel!" Lola spoke in an affirmative tone.

She made up her mind that she wouldn't allow anyone to hurt Jane anymore!

On the next evening, Janet took Sally with her to have dinner together. Then, they went to a shopping mall.

When they had arrived, they saw Angela Si and Scott Bo trying some clothes on.

"Sally, Jane! Come here!" said Angela. She then dragged them to sit on a sofa.

Spark had already told the shopping mall's manager that Daniel would take some of his friends, who all had a wealthy background, there to choose some sports clothes. The manager then asked the sports clothes's shopkeeper to arrange for more salesmen from the other shops, so that they could provide a personal one-on-one service for them.

They had also closed down the shop for other customers, making it exclusive for Daniel's guests. Scott came out of the dressing room, wearing a set of grey sportswear.

"Jane, Sally!" called Scott. Scott went over to them, followed by a saleswoman.

The twenty-year-old Scott inherited his parents' good genes and had a handsome face. The saleswoman couldn't stop staring at him.

"Scott, where's your girlfriend?" Sally asked and made fun of him.

Scott bashfully scratched his head and said, "I didn't bring her here because she has classes in her college."

He was in his senior year in college; he was very popular in school. Quite a lot of girls chased after him!

While they were talking, Sven and Nicole arrived at the shop, followed by Cole.

"Hello! Jane, Sally, and Scott!" Sven greeted and gave them a naughty whistle.

Holding his arm, Nicole pinched him and demanded, "Behave yourself!"

"I am behaving well!" Sven seriously looked at his wife. Nicole just laughed at him.

Angela immediately pretended to be angry and said, "Brother and sister-in-law, are you here just to show off your love? Cole! Stay beside me. We single people need to keep each other company!"

Cole looked at Angela's funny face, smiled, and sat next to her.

"Angela, do you need a sermon?" said Sven. He looked at his sister angrily.

Since she was scolded by Sven, Angela immediately jumped up from her seat and held Nicole tight, yelling, "Oh, dear sister-in-law! Help me!"

Nicole backed Angela up and pinched Sven violently.

Angela had taken her revenge. But Sven then whispered to Nicole's ear in a low voice, "I'm going to get back at you tonight..."

"What are you saying?" responded Nicole. Her face flushed red, and she loosened her grip on Sven. Then, together with Angela, she sat down next to Janet.

Janet asked Nicole, "Where's Kerr?"

"Mom's taking care of him, " answered Nicole. Chuck had to take over one of Sven's operations since he was absent today, so Daisy had to take care of Kerr herself.

Then, some saleswomen brought melon seeds and put them on the table for them to kill time as they waited for the others.

At that time, a loud greeting was heard. "Mr. Si, welcome to DR sportswear shop!"

Needless to ask, they all knew who was coming in.

However, there was also a woman in a blue dress following behind him.

Janet caught a glance of them, and her aura darkened immediately.

"Daniel, what's wrong with you? Why are you here with your secretary?" asked Sven. He gazed at Janet, who was eating her melon seeds, and rolled his eyes at Daniel.

But Daniel didn't care about what he said and made Shirley sit down opposite Janet and Sally.

The saleswomen were already waiting eagerly beside them. All of them wanted to serve Daniel.

"Brother, will you be bringing her tomorrow?" asked Sally. She stared at her brother with disbelief. She thought her brother was acting excessively!

Shirley felt embarrassed as she could feel how rejected she was.

"No, I'm just here to help Daniel choose his clothes today, " Shirley opened her mouth and explained in a tender voice.

Janet then stood up, dragged Sally by her hand, and said, "Sally, let's go pick our clothes."

Then, everyone dispersed and followed suit.

Since it was hot these days, they all chose short-sleeved shirts and shorts.

Janet picked up a set of clothes for herself and for Sally. They went into the dressing room to try it on together.

Five minutes later, Janet came out, stood in front of Nicole, and asked, "Nicole, what do you think? Does this look good on me?"

Janet chose a white short-sleeved shirt with a logo on it and a pair of white trousers. She looked very vigorous and youthful on them, even though it was a classic, simple outfit.

Grabbing a pink sportswear set, Nicole nodded and sincerely praised Janet, "You look good on them. Jane, you look good on any sort of clothes." Nicole was speaking the truth. Although it was a basic sportswear, Janet knew how to wear it well.

Then, Sally came out of the dressing room. She was dressed in a blue set. She murmured, "What colour should I choose for Jerry? How about blue?"

Nicole and Janet exchanged glances with each other. They tried to imagine how Jerry would look like in a blue shirt.

Janet immediately shook her head and said, "No, Sally! You better pick another color for him!"
