Janet took Samuel's words very seriously, and started to put all of her soul and heart into her relationship with Daniel.

She wanted to marry Daniel, so that she could give their twins a sweet and caring home.

But, Daniel seemed to be more than satisfied with where they were, and didn't mention anything about his proposal or the wedding.

Janet felt sad about this.

Lola understood what was in Janet's mind, and found a chance to bring up an idea to her. "I tried to propose to Harry with a plastic ring back then, because I wanted to know whether he wanted to marry me or not."

Lola remembered that Harry had reacted very angry, but now when she brought it up again, he admitted that he had in fact felt excited about the whole thing.

Janet looked at Lola surprised, and asked, "Do you mean that I should also propose to Daniel?"

What would Daniel think about this if she really decided to propose to him? He might think that she was urging him to marry her...

Lola shook her head, and said, "Of course not!"

Janet was confused, but Lola continued, "You two have already settled down and have gotten used to each other, and Daniel might think that because you're already his, and not going anywhere, he doesn't need to rush you into marriage quite yet. What you should do is to get him to feel anxious about marrying you."

Lola was actually a little worried when she told Janet about her idea. If Janet could not handle it well, the two of them might end up getting into a fight again, so Lola changed her mind about the whole thing instead.

"Never mind about it, Jane! I'll get to know his thoughts about it when he comes back home, " said Lola. When Lola thought about it twice, she started to realize that her idea wasn't a very good idea at all. It was risky, because there was a chance that it might not work on Daniel.

However, Janet had already saved her advice in her mind.

With Samuel's help, Janet found the right place for her cake shop, and it was very close to Daniel's office.

After she paid for the deposit, she had started the decorating it.

Janet wanted to name it "Jane's Cake Shop, " just like before.

But she had to change her business plans this time. She would not sell any other kind of pastries except desserts. Besides the retail, her business would also include partnerships with companies, for bigger orders.

This time she had also hired a milk tea master and coffee master, to also provide high quality drinks to the desserts.

While she was working on the shop's interior design, Bill had come to the shop for several times already to help Janet buy materials and run other errands.

Time passed quickly, and when it came early August, Caspar arrived there from Z Country.

Janet had decided to greet him with a welcoming dinner, and Daniel had promised Janet that he would pick her up after they were finished.

In fact, Daniel had asked somebody to make the perfect proposal ring for Janet. It was unique and truly one of a kind, because it had been designed by himself.

To draw the design, he also had to have some spare time to do his thorough research. It had to be something special.

Now Caspar had already come to C Country, but his ring had been scheduled to be finished in late August.

Daniel was already feeling anxious.

However, when he remembered what he was keeping in the safe, he calmed down.

Late in the evening, Janet and Caspar went out of the restaurant together, and fixed her scarf while looking in her eyes. He had missed Janet very much. He said, "Janet, I have found the perfect place for the branch company, and even the blueprints for it are ready. I'll be staying here for a while until I launch the project."

A man leaning against a black car was staring at them for some time, but without having blinked once. His face grew pale when he witnessed their intimacy.

He took a long drag on his cigarette and then exhaled the thick smoke, and in it, you could almost feel his bitter discontent.

"Em... My shop is almost ready now, and this means that we can do business together in the near future. Hahaha..." said Janet with a joyful laughter. But she felt a little shy when she uttered the word "business".

Caspar slightly smiled, and said, "Okay, that's a deal!"

Caspar had decided to pursuit Janet, and he even had a plan for it. He had planned to make Janet fall in love with him in six months.

If she did not fall for him, he would give up on her. He only got six months, because after that he had to get back to Z Country to handle the business of the Tianye Men; he had no other reason to stay there.

"Em... drive safe, " said Janet. Before the dinner, Daniel had told her that he would pick her up right after. Where was he?

Janet and Caspar walked towards the parking lot together, and just then they saw a black Maybach being parked on the side of the street. When they got closer, Daniel was standing beside the car with a cigarette between his fingers.

Right after she saw him, Janet ran toward him, and happily shouted, "Daniel!"

Daniel had been pissed off when he had seen them together earlier, but all of his anger melted away the moment he saw her happy face.

He held her tight in his arms, and kissed her on the forehead.

Caspar was upset when he saw them kissing. Had he come too late?

The coldness on Daniel's face instantly disappeared, and he looked at Janet tenderly, and asked, "What did you have for dinner?"

"Some of our country's special cuisine, " replied Janet. The reason why Janet had brought Caspar to this restaurant was that it had the best traditional cuisine in town. Caspar had come all the way there, and she considered that he should try the best there was.

Daniel nodded his head with satisfaction, and then looked at Caspar, and said, "Mr. Caspar, the Northton Grand Hotel nearby belongs to my company, and I have arranged the best accommodations for you there."

Caspar had saved Janet's and Melissa's lives, and he considered that Caspar should be treated well.

Caspar did not have any sort of property in C Country, and he accepted Daniel's offer. "Thank you, Mr. Daniel, " said Caspar.

"It's my pleasure, and I am also looking forward to the establishment of your company, " said Daniel.

Then the two of them shook their hands with each other firmly, but it seemed that something was wrong... Was it hostility?

After Caspar said goodbye to them, he got in the car and drove away, and Daniel opened the passenger door for Janet to get in the car.

While Daniel was fastening the seat belt for her, Janet asked, "Where is Melissa tonight?"

Daniel kissed her on the lips, and replied, "She's at Lola's house, so that means that we have the house to ourselves."

Because Caspar had arrived there, Daniel now wanted to spend more time with Janet alone. Melissa could always stay at the manor or at the No. 8 mansion.

"Why? Even she was there, we still had the house to ourselves, " said Janet. She was not pleased with this, Because she did not have the chance to spend time with neither Melissa, nor Michelle. During the daytime, Daniel often brought one of them with him to his office. At night, one of the twins would stay at the manor while the other one would stay at No. 8 mansion or at the old house.
