Once, when Janet and Roma went inside the store, they were attacked by a bunch of stray dogs.

Fortunately, the bodyguards and Roma reacted fast, so Janet was not harmed at all.

Later on, there were rumours about Janet's store. Some customers mentioned that they got food poisoning from eating Janet's desserts.

These incidents did not bother Janet at all because she knew that she had Daniel to help her with these issues.

Soon, December came.

Two days before her wedding, Janet finally got to see her dress., It was a cheongsam, a Chinese embroidery dress.

It had never occurred to her that Daniel would prepare such a dress for her!

He was also very thoughtful as he ordered a matching cape with prints of wild roses. As the ceremony would be held in winter, he was concerned that she might get cold. The cape was hand-made and cost a fortune.

One of the boxes sent to her had a phoenix coronet in it...

Janet slowly caressed the fabric of the dress. The delicate embroidery was simply breathtaking.

She thought he would give her a Western-style wedding. But she personally preferred a wedding with both Eastern and Western influences.

Sally smiled and urged her to try the things on, "Jane, put them on quickly, and let me see!"

She trusted that the things her brother chose for Janet were the best!

Janet sat in front of her vanity table, listening to the people outside of her room with a smile.

The room was prepared yesterday. Behind her stood two celebrity make-up artists, who were hired for the occasion. They were going to doll her up as glamorous as they could.

Three fashion stylists were also inside the room, waiting to dress her up after the make-up. Janet was to wear a traditional Chinese dress on her wedding. Therefore, her hair would be braided accordingly.

Her hair would match her dress. The wedding would have a strong touch of Chinese accents.

Around seven in the morning, all of her bridesmaids arrived. Angela, Selina, Shelly, and Ivanka rushed to the room to get ready as well.

The bridesmaid's dress was a pink one-piece cheongsams with matching white capes. Their uniform high-heeled shoes were ivory white adorned with sparkling crystals.

Around 9 o'clock, a scream was heard from Janet's room. Ella quickly rushed over to see what was going on.

She stood by the door, and gasped at the sight.

Standing in the middle of a room was a goddess. Janet, in her beautiful cheongsam with a phoenix coronet on her head, looked amazingly elegant.

The dress fit her perfectly. She was so beautiful that her mother, Ella, cried with joy.

After 10 AM, the twins were already dressed for the ceremony. They had pink fur dresses, and their hair were delicately braided and placed in updos.

Firecrackers were lit up outside the house for good luck. Jerry walked in and gazed at his sister fondly, "Hey, Jane, are you ready? Daniel is here!"

His words made her heart skip a beat. Janet's face turned red as she softly replied, "Yes, I am ready!"

"Close the door!" One of the bridesmaids shouted and the rest burst into laughter. As soon as Jerry walked out, they all dashed to lock the door.

A stream of fancy cars slowly drove into the neighbourhood. They parked one after one in front of Mansion No.8. There were too many cars that queue reached the road outside of the neighbourhood.

The first car was a red Bugatti Veyron. Daniel, the man of the hour, stepped out of it with a big grin on his face.

The six cars behind him were driven by his groomsmen. They were Scott, Colin, Sven, Cole, Brian, and Bill.

They were all decked out in black Italian suits. Each of them had shiny leather shoes. Even the designer watches on their wrists were of the same luxury brand.

The host of the ceremony was Joseph, who was in his forties. Joseph was smartly dressed, mature, and confident.

After he hosted Samuel's wedding, he became instantly famous for his skills. Since then, he almost changed his career from acting to anchoring.

Many people were overwhelmed by his fame and wanted to hire him as a wedding host. Occasionally, he would fill in the position with other good hosts because his schedule was booked.

Joseph walked into Mansion No. 8 with several young men behind him. Outside the villa, firecrackers continued to sound, announcing the start of the ceremony.

In the bride's room, on the second floor.

Janet nervously held onto her dress. Her heart was beating so fast as she listened carefully to what was going on outside.

"The groom is here. Now, let's offer red envelopes with money to "bribe" the bridesmaids, so they can open the door for us!" It was a traditional custom to "bribe" the bridesmaid, so that they would cooperate with the groom and not give him a hard time.

However, apart from Ivanka, the rest of the bridesmaids were all wealthy girls who did not need money. They wouldn't be "bribed" with some mere red envelopes.

Daniel was known for his indifference. The bridesmaids thought of ways to play tricks on Daniel. Angela grinned and boldly shouted through the door, "Daniel, the red envelope must be thick enough. Otherwise, we would never let you in!"

Shelly laughed and said, I agree. Make it rain!"

They wondered how Daniel would respond. Ivanka was utterly speechless as her friends dared to challenge the intimidating Daniel. She shook her head and said, "I agree with them!"

People outside the door burst into laughter. They shouted, "Just come out and get your money. The groom had already prepared the red envelopes for all of you!"

However, the envelopes were too thick to be passed under the door. Daniel calmly said, "Open the door."

The four bridesmaids looked at each other and turned to Janet for advice on what they should do next.

Janet laughed, "He is a man of his word!"

They would get their envelopes as promised! Selina went to open the door, and the people outside filled the room within seconds.

Angela quickly stepped in front of the bride and shouted, "Give me my red envelope, and the bride is all yours!"

Daniel with 99 roses in his arms, laughed, and gave her a thick deck of envelopes full of cash. Then, he pushed her away and hurried toward his bride.

Right now, Angela and Selina's joyful cheers did not bother him at all. His eyes were dead focused on his beautiful wife.

Bill and Sven dashed toward Janet as well. They both gasped at her beauty. Bill stared at Janet and was utterly amazed by how she looked. He turned to Daniel and said, "Oh my god, you are marrying a goddess today!"

Sven leaned closer to Janet and shouted to the photographer, "Hey, over here! I want a picture with the beautiful bride."

Daniel shook his head and pushed them away. He was slightly annoyed by them and said, "Stay away from my wife!"

Sven and Bill giggled at his jealousy. Daniel gazed at Janet, his eyes sparkled. Then, he leaned down and sealed her ruby lips with a passionate kiss.

The crowd went wild. Joseph tried to pull Daniel away. He smirked at him, "Hey, Daniel. Behave yourself. The ceremony hasn't started, yet. You can't kiss your bride now!"

"Hahaha! Daniel, try to keep your hands to yourself." Sven laughed at Daniel, his desperate eagerness amused him.

Scott whistled and said, "Daniel, why don't you propose to Janet in front of us again?"
