Alpha Loren novel Chapter 91

December 20th

Leo's point of view:

Two hours later my phone received a call from Luciano. Ella was still fast asleep with her head on my chest so I had to carefully lift her off me without waking her.

"What took you so fucking long to answer?" he asked once I had moved as far away from my sleeping Luna and baby as possible without actually leaving the room.

"Just get to the point," I hissed. "What do you want?"

"So Achilles has returned. He was 46 minutes and 22 seconds late but he apparently has the information."

"What do you mean apparently? Do you have a name? Who is the leader of this uprising?"

"He is refusing to give the information until he has his wife by his side," Luciano replied.

"Then you have two options. Either let him have his wife by his side, get the name and then murder him for trying to outsmart us or you could torture him until he gives up the information and then murder him for trying to outsmart us," I replied briefly looking to the other side of the room to check Ella and Cato were both fast asleep.

"Second option sounds like a lot more fun," he answered undoubtedly with a grin.

"I've got to go," I said as a little noise came from Cato's crib. "The baby is crying and my Luna will wake up any second now," I explained before hanging up moments before Ella's pretty eyelashes fluttered open.

"Were you talking to yourself?" she asked drowsily.

"I was on the phone," I stated. "And shit, Cato's crying," I added changing the subject before her tendency to question everything set in.

"Thanks captain obvious. And don't sweat in front of him! At this rate, his first work is going to be fuck," she scolded before sitting up and gently lifting our son out of the crib. "He's probably just hungry again."

"Does it hurt?" I asked.

"Breastfeeding?"

"Yeah."

"I would call it painful but it's not comfortable either."

"I'd do it for you but I don't have any boobs."

She looked up at me and rolled her eyes.

"You can find me something to eat instead. I'm fucking starving," she replied before slamming her hand over her mouth and then Cato's ears. "You've got me doing it now!"

"There is no way you can blame me for that, honey," I said before leaving the room to search for the steak I could smell cooking in the cafe kitchens. "See you in a bit."
