Anton Brotherhood novel Chapter 46

Jasper heard what he said and was overjoyed till he couldn't contain his facial expressions. Jason who stood on the side was holding his smile in and said, “Boss Williams, take a look at Camille, I think she needs you to comfort her more than anything!”

Anton nodded and tugged Stephan and Jason with him. Bruce followed behind them and then he saw Jasper still grinning to himself and he kicked him, “Dude, can you stop? You still don't get what the Boss is trying to say.” After that, he shook his head and walked out of the room.

Jasper was stunned and then realized a short while later. He shouted, “Boss, I can do much more than talk!”

Jason brought Anton and Stephan to a guest room and signaled for Anton to enter. Anton looked at Stephan and the latter just smiled at him while saying, “Boss, head in first! I'll come in later!”

Anton blushed a little and knocked softly on the door before entering.

Camille who was sobbing on her bed saw Anton entering. “Anton!”

She leaped into his arms and started crying even louder. Anton felt a pain in his heart and hugged her tightly while comforting her gently, “Camille, it is okay now. I know you've been through a lot. I promise you won't have to go through this ever again!”

Camille's tears still came down uncontrollably, “Anton, do you know how scared I was? I was afraid that I will never see you again...”

Anton smiled a little and comforted her, “It's over now. Don't talk and think about it anymore!” He patted her on her shoulder and helped her to sit on the bed. Looking at Dolores who was on the side, her eyes were red too. Anton wanted to comfort her as well but Camille was still crying so he held his urge back.

Camille gave a tug on his sleeves and said meekly, “Anton, can you hug me longer?”

Seeing her teary eyes and her sorrowful face, Anton felt like someone was cutting his heart into pieces. He then sat on the bed and pulled her into his hug. Camille leaned on his shoulder and finally could feel warmth in her heart. After a short while, she caught a glimpse of Dolores and was sorry for her. She whispered to him, “Anton, go and comfort sister too!”

Anton nodded and got Dolores over as well, “Dolores, is everything okay?”

Dolores felt his tug and her face flushed so she quickly bowed her head down, “I'm fine!”

Anton was relieved at her answer. “That's good! That's good!” And that was when Dolores could no longer contain her feelings and sobbed while leaning onto Anton's shoulder.

Anton froze sitting on the bed. He looked at Camille but she didn't say anything. At that moment, on his left was Camille, and Dolores on the other hand was crying in his arms. He smiled bitterly in his heart and succumbed to the sisters' tears.

After a while more, both of them calmed down. Dolores got up with her face blushing. Camille saw her face and asked straight away, “Dolores, do you like Anton, too?”

Dolores was caught awkward after her question and she didn't answer.

Camille then turned to Anton, “Do you like Dolores too?”

“I…I…I….” Anton couldn't find his tongue to speak and didn't tell her his answer after stuttering for quite some time. He wasn't sure whathis feelings was towards Dolores. He felt ashamed for feeling the same way he had felt for Camille when he was with Dolores. He told himself that it was not allowed and stopped himself from doing so but he failed to control his heart.

Seeing that both of them refused to answer her question, Camille shut up, and inside her brain was a storm of thoughts. Silence fell into the room.

No one knew how long did time pass but Camille suddenly broke the silence, “By the way, I heard from Ramon that my brother isn't doing good! How is he now?”

At the same time, Stephan's voice was heard from the door.

“Finally someone mentioned me! I am so happy!” Stephan said as he made his way into the room. He looked at his watch exaggeratedly and nodded, “It has been 45 minutes and 25 seconds since y'all in the room. Finally, you thought about me! I failed as a brother!”

Hearing his words, both Camille and Dolores were embarrassed.

“Brother! Stop it!” Camille was ashamed.

“Hahaha!” Stephan laughed at the sight of their blushed faces. But deep down in his heart, he started worrying about the sisters, if both of them loved Anton at the same time, then… it would not look good.

Anton stood up and greeted him. “Stephan, you've been here for a long time?”

“Not really! If I had interrupted you guys, then I will just go out again. I just came in to tell my sisters that I am okay and they don't have to worry about me!” Finishing his sentence, Stephan walked out of the room. Camille quickly stopped him from leaving. “Brother…”

Anton shook his head and said, “No, you should talk. I'll leave first!” After that, he walked out of the room and closed the door.

Jason and the others were waiting for him outside. When Anton walked out, everyone gave him an ambiguous look and smiled cheekily. Anton coughed and said, “Where's Ramon? I want to see him!”

“The second floor. I have 5 men staying back to take 'good care of him!” Jason answered.

Anton nodded.

At the same time, Ramon was in a tiny room and was held tightly by two men. The other three were 'treating' his stomach. Ramon shrieked in pain and had mucus and tears all over his face. He was missing four teeth as well. Anton saw this sight when he entered the room. Those men immediately stood straight and stopped whatever they were doing.

“Boss!” They all bowed respectfully to him.

Anton just nodded in reply and a man brought him a stool. Anton smiled and sat in front of Ramon with his legs crossed.

Ramon was terrified to see Anton. His voice shook uncontrollably, “Anton...Wil…Williams, you’d better let me go now. Otherwise, my dad will not let you go!”

“All right, “Anton smirked. “It seems to me he hasn't learned his lesson! Brothers, teach him to talk properly first!”

“Yes, boss!” The men answered in unison. They then kicked Ramon to the ground and rained fists and blows onto him. In less than half a minute Ramon was not in his right mind and shouted, “No! No! Don't hit me! Ouch! Stop. Stop. Stop! Boss. Boss! I am sorry! I have wronged you.”

Anton waved his hand at his men and everyone stopped. Ramon looked like he had bathed in blood already. Anton thought for a while and handed him a phone.

“Listen, if you don’t want to die. Call your father and ask him to come here.”

Ramon looked at Anton in disbelief. His voice still trembling, “Why do you want him here? Do you want to hurt him? No… I won't call him.”

Anton just smiled and thought for a while. He then whispered something to his men. That man nodded while he listened to Anton's instructions.

“Beat me up all you want! I am not going to call my dad!” Vicci was Ramon's last hope for escaping. As long as he was alive, Vicci would find a way to locate him. If he lured his father to the place, Anton could do anything to him and the both of them might die together at the place. So, Ramon made a tough decision to be macho for the first time.

But soon he could no longer be the macho man he wanted to be. The man that Anton talked to return with a thin bamboo stick.

Anton stared in Ramon's direction and ordered, “Hang him up!”

Ramon was overwhelmed with fear and he struggled aggressively. “Anton, what are you trying to do to me! Let me go! Ouch!” Someone punched him in his stomach again. Ramon could feel his stomach twisting in pain and his voice was gone.

Ramon was hung onto the pipes by Anton's men and his feet were dangling meters from the ground. That man with the bamboo stick sneered and poked the stick roughly into his thighs. Ramon screamed in pain and his senses returned slightly.

He then shouted at Anton, “Damn you, Anton! Be like a man! Don’t bully me with so many people!”

“Drip!” Blood dripped into the basin underneath Ramon.

Anton looked at his watch and said warningly, “Ramon, you have exactly 45minutes more. Because after that you will die due to excessive loss of blood. The time your father arrived, I will remove the stick. You haven't had much time left. Think about it yourself!” After that Anton started smoking.

Ramon looked at his blood flowing non-stop into the basin and was greatly terrified that his face turned pale white. “Anton Williams! You are so cruel!”

Anton got up and huffed smoke into his face. “You're nothing different from me. So was your dad Vicci Smith!”

Sweat oozed out of Ramon's forehead and the pitter-patter of his blood was still going on. After a long thought process, Ramon finally spoke, “Anton, I will ask my dad to come. But you have to let me go at once!”

“Ramon, don't bargain with me. You have no time. I hope you won't waste your time further. You only have 38 minutes left.”

Ramon was anxious to know that his life was counting down. He didn't want to die so he couldn't care less about his father. He let out a loud wail, “I'll call him! I'll call!” He then sobbed after saying so.

Anton scoffed, “Tell me his number!” Ramon told him while choking on his tears. Anton signaled his men and they stood on a stool next to Ramon while putting the phone next to him.

The call was answered immediately. Ramon shouted, “Dad! Dad! It's me, Ramon! Dad save me! I am dying!”

Vicci heard it was from his son and leaped up from his seat at once. “Ramon! Where are you, I will send people to get you!”

Ramon wanted to say more but Anton snatched the phone away, “Vicci Smith, glad to talk to you. I am Anton Williams and your son is with me now. He still has 38 minutes to live. If you want to save him, come to North Hotel. I will wait for you here. Remember, 38 minutes.”

Vicci shouted, “Anton! What did you do! If anything happens to him, I will chop you into pieces!”
