Shi Zengwang hesitated but Shi Fengge patted his shoulder and shook his head. "Aunty, Rest assured. We won't unless she speaks first."

[After Dinner]

"Xiao Mei, Did you enjoy the dinner?" Mo Dunguo asked as he brought two bowl of dessert.

"Yeah, It was super delicious, Especially my favourite Sweet & Sour ribs. Ten on Ten!," Xi Mei happily exclaimed.

"Oh, Really? It's also Xiao Xung's favourite dish. You two have similar taste in food,huh! Here have this just made for you." Mo Dunguo passed one of the dessert to Xi Mei before sitting down.

She thanked him before grabbing the bowl. When it came to food, Xi Mei doesn't wait for anyone, so she digged in it instantly.

"Woah, It's amazingly good~," She didn't forget to compliment.

Mo Dunguo chuckled at her reaction. While Mo Xung stared at Mo Dunguo. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?," Perplexed, Mo Dunguo asked.

"I am curious why aren't you giving me that dessert bowl in your hand when it is for me? Are you waiting it to be cooked in your hands?" Mo Xung tilted his head in confusion.

"Who told you it's for you? Don't be delusional. It's in my hands, then it's for me. Go get your own." Mo Dunguo replied as he took a bite of the dessert.

Mo Xung furrowed his brows, " Really? Dad, Are you kidding me? Don't tell me you are making fun of me that I am injured?"

Mo Dunguo laughed out loud ," Sorry, I was just pulling your leg. Take this." He then passed the dessert to him.

"So, Xiao Mei, Are you staying at your Uncle's house until Nanny Sui returns?" Mo Dunguo stared at Xi Mei, ready to hear her answer.

Xi Mei who just finished eating, placed the bowl in the table before saying " After thinking about the matter thoroughly, I decided to stay here."

The Mo Father son duo were ecstatic to hear that.

" You made great decision. Let the maid show you your room then." Mo Dunguo spoke as he called out a maid.

Xi Mei interjected," First let me pack my things from my place. How about I start staying here from tomorrow?"

"No!" Mo Xung shouted.

" Don't mind him. Xiao Mei, You can go with my driver, pack your things, and return to stay here. How does it sound to you?," Mo Dunguo suggested.

Xi Mei nodded after a while ,"Works for me." After that Xi Mei left with Mo Dunguo's personal driver to her house.

There remained awkwardness between the two father-son duo after Xi Mei left.

Suddenly, Mo Dunguo grabbed an apple as he asked "Son,Why are you being so obvious?"

"Obvious? W-What are you talking about? " Mo Xung was bewildered by the abrupt question.
