Blood Oath: Forever Yours novel Chapter 14

Charlotte glared at Evelyn with her reddened eyes, and it was at this moment that she wished she could bite her neck off so that her blood would splatter all over.

Unfortunately, she could not bring herself to do that as Evelyn had always known how to touch her sore spot, and all she could do no matter how many times she had experienced things likes this was to succumb to her.

“I’m sorry, Evelyn. This is all my fault.”

Charlotte opened her mouth and pleaded guilty to all the accusations, “I shouldn’t have given up on the man whom have loved me and shacked up with other guys, and it is my fault that Dad has been bed ridden all these years. After being treated as a plaything by all these men for the past five years and being dumped, I have finally realized how well you all have treated me and how undeserving I am! I have truly regretted my decision!”

Her body trembled all over as she got down on her knees while facing the direction of the Garcia Mansion, “I have been blinded to have mistaken the bad guy for the good guy, and it was all because of my incompetence and uselessness that my father and brother have to suffer right now. It was also because of me that the Garcia family have come to this plight. Everything’s my fault. Death should come to me!”

Although the crowd might not be able to decipher Charlotte’s words, Evelyn was in the know about the meaning behind her desperate screams.

She felt that Charlotte had crumbled under the pressure and gone mad, so she instantly halted her, “Enough, Charlotte!”

Evelyn hurriedly stepped out under the umbrella and dragged Charlotte up on her feet as she was afraid that Charlotte would blurt out excessive information that would lead to association with her. She promptly shoved Charlotte to her subordinates beside her as she continued to slap her down, “Your father has informed me before he leaves the country that he would not accept you so you’re none of the Garcia family’s business. You’re not welcomed here, !”

As soon as Evelyn had given her order, Charlotte’s arms were instantly seized by two men from both sides, and they crassly dragged her away from the crowd in no time.

Her cries of despair could still be heard clearly even when she had been dragged far away, “I’m sorry, Dad. It’s all my fault. Everything’s my fault. Dad…”
