Lawrence abruptly looked towards Jeffrey. He grabbed his collar with great force, pulling him over and stared at him coldly and fiercely, “Charlotte came to my room last night. She came to see me, right?”

“Mr. Harris, please calm down. Miss Garcia indeed came to see you.”

Jeffrey was tensed up. He looked at Lawrence nervously, “I know that you’re worrying about her, so I deliberately brought her to the deck to have a conversation last night to buy time for you.”

“So she really came to your room last night. Moreover, she…” Jeffrey added.

“I want to see her now.”

Lawrence let go of Jeffery. When he heard that Charlotte actually came to his room last night, he looked more relieved, “Ask her to come here. I want to see her. Or I can come to find her.”

When hearing Lawrence’s words, Jeffery, who was standing by the bedside, changed his expressions slightly.

“Mr. Harris, we’re not on the yacht now. We’ve come back to the manor.”

Jeffery paused and then continued while studying Lawrence’s expressions carefully, “Miss Garcia hasn’t walked out of her bedroom after visiting you last night. When the yacht pulled in to shore today, I led my men to send you to the car and asked two of them to pick up Miss Garcia. But when they came back to the yacht, she was nowhere to be found.”

Lawrence was stunned. His expressions became extremely gloomy and scaring when he recalled that she had taken away his ring.

At the next moment, he suddenly lifted the quilt and stammered towards the door.

“Mr. Harris!”

Jeffery hastily walked over to support him.

“Miss Garcia has returned to City B. What Evelyn did before has been exposed and she escaped from the city. Miss Garcia is free and safe now. You don’t need to worry about her.”

“You can’t understand it.”

Lawrence abruptly closed his eyes, “She cares about nothing now and is not afraid of death. I’m afraid that she would harm herself or even commit suicide.”

Charlotte went to the police station alone after getting off Lawrence’s yacht.

Two female police officers received her.

When learning that she was the notorious eldest daughter of the Garcia family who had been reported by many media recently, their expressions turned cold and contemptuous.

When the two policewomen sent Charlotte out of the station, they had a completely different attitude. They kind-heartedly gave her a coat and hailed a taxi for her.

Charlotte knew it was because they felt sympathetic towards her.

Her past was disgusting and thrilling. Even she herself would not have the courage to experience it again.

Charlotte then came back to the Garcia family.

After the accident to her father and her younger brother, who were her soft spot, Evelyn couldn’t control her any longer. Moreover, she also committed suicide after learning about their deaths. Therefore, Lawrence must have learned about the truth.

Naturally Evelyn would run away.

The only things that Evelyn could take away was some cashes and her bank cards. But Charlotte demanded the police officers to temporarily freeze her accounts just now and they agreed. Hence, Evelyn would not be able to hold on for too long and would show up when she was run out of money.

Charlotte turned on all the lights of the Garcia Mansion.

She then made a phone call.

After a short while, a car stopped at the gate of the Garcia Mansion and several men jumped out of the car one after the other.
