Blood Oath: Forever Yours novel Chapter 43

The room was originally a garage and Evelyn forcefully transformed it into a storage room after marrying Michael. Charlotte learned after a long period of time that it was actually Evelyn’s ‘private coffer’.

The person opened the door of the storage room and quickly sneaked into the room and even plucked up courage to turn on a small lamp.

She then rummaged through the boxes and cabinets under the dim light. Although the woman was wearing a hat and a mask, Charlotte still saw clearly of her facial features and back that she was familiar with.

Only Evelyn would run the risk of coming back to the Garcia Mansion at this juncture for the sake of money.

Charlotte gritted her teeth and clenched her fists tightly. Standing behind the curtain, she had the impulse to rush out of the house and to bite her neck, suck her blood and eat her flesh for many times.

But she held it back in the end.

Evelyn could not atone for her crimes even if she died for hundreds of times. It would be a mercy for her if she died easily!

At the next moment, she put down the curtain and under the cover of the dark night, she walked out of the door. After the short while, her figure disappeared in the darkness.

The person in the storage room was rummaging for her treasures excitedly and hadn’t notice the noise from outside of the door.

The person turned off the lamp after a short while and held up a replenished bag with difficulty. She then walked out of the room furtively and ran towards the gate after making sure that there was no one in the surroundings.

However, the moment she ran out of the Garcia Mansion, a noise sounded by her ears. And a strong flash of high beams shone on her face.

The woman shivered. She hurriedly raised her hand to cover her eyes and struggled to find out the source of the beams, only to meet Charlotte’s red and ferocious eyes in the air.

“Ah…”

The woman screamed like she had seen a ghost. She trembled violently and then things in her bag fell down onto the ground and scattered along with a tinkling sound.

She turned around without a second thought, pounced towards the treasures and frantically tried to pick them up.

As expected, she wanted money more than life.

Charlotte sneered. Her hands that were holding the steering wheel tightened and she put her foot down on the gas.

After picking up the treasures from the ground, the woman turned around, only to find that Charlotte was driving her car towards her in a high speed.

When she was about to be slammed by the car, it abruptly came to a halt and the gap between her and the car was only several centimeters’ wide.

The woman’s legs trembled violently and she became feeble at the next moment and fell down on the ground. Nevertheless, just as she had pulled herself together, she heard the sound of the engine restarting. She was so scared and crawled towards the roadside.

“Ah… Help! Help! Charlotte Garcia gonna kill me!”

The moment she finished her words, the car rushed towards her again and stopped when it was about to hit her.

This process repeated again and again.

Charlotte, the driver, intentionally chased after the woman. The woman tumbled and rolled to her feet while screaming. The things in her bag all fell down on the ground and were all smashed into pieces.

In the end, the woman was exhausted and didn’t even have the strength to let out a scream. With feeble legs and arms, she crawled to a bridge that was not far away. And the car finally stopped.

She was so exhausted that she couldn’t run away again.

Charlotte gazed at the woman with satisfaction.

Michael had been doting on Evelyn after she married into the Garcia family. She had always been exquisite and elegant and had never got into this unholy mess.

Charlotte’s expressions became serious with a touch of cold killing intention flashing across her watery eyes. She started the engine and gunned the car again.

They were now on a bridge.

If one fell down from this bridge, he/she would be brought into the sea by the torrents.

Charlotte’s father and younger brother died in the sea, and she wanted to send this evil-minded woman into the hell by the same means. She should atone for the crimes she had done to them!

As for she herself, she had lost everything. So what did it matter?

At the next moment, with a loud sound, the car rushed towards the woman again…

“Ah…”

The woman on the bridge screamed in despair. Nevertheless, she was so scared before that she became feeble; hence, she couldn’t pick up herself from the ground and could only shook her head again and again.

“I’m not her. I’m not…”

She even reached out her hand, trying to take off the mask.
