Blood Oath: Forever Yours novel Chapter 53

“Miss Garcia, I am not joking. It is your only chance.”

It became quiet instantly, creating a tense atmosphere.

Charlotte began to breath fast and hard.

A strange man showed up suddenly and offered her the chance of a lifetime.

She stared at the man for a while and uttered a world slowly.

“Yes.”

She wanted to get out of here.

She desired to be alive.

She craved for freedom.

She had been faced with life and death so many times and left the past in the past. Now she only wanted to stay alive for the sake of her father, younger brother and the Garcia family as well as revenge on those who hurt them.

But …

As she finished, Charlotte leaned forward urgently, looking at the man, and rushed to continue.

“But under one condition.”

“I know I have already owed a great deal to you for getting me out of here. But could you please do me one more favor by keeping it a secret? I don’t want to be discovered by anyone.”

Especially Lawrence.

Raymond Porter raised his eyebrows slightly but showed little surprise.

“Miss Garcia, I can help you get rid of here, but I can’t decide whom would you meet or what kind of life would you have after that.”

“I’ll pick you up at eight tomorrow night.”

When he finished, he looked up and nodded at the man outside. The man immediately came to Charlotte.

“Time’s up. You should get back.”

Charlotte pressed her lips. She understood that she’s owed a lot to him and shouldn’t ask for more. Before she left, she thanked Raymond in a soft voice.

“Mr. Porter, thank you.”

Raymond didn’t response.

When Charlotte was out of his sight, he smiled slightly and then got up and strolled out.

As soon as he got into his car, he got a phone call from a familiar number.

He answered the phone and immediately heard a deep voice.

“Did she consent?”

“If she couldn’t realize how precious life and freedom are after witnessed death so many times, she must be idiot.”

Raymond thought of something while he answered and then gave a little giggle.

“I am curious about one thing. Lance, you worked your ass off to make me help your girl get out of there, but she asked me to keep it a secret to avoid you. What on earth did you do to her?”

Lawrence remained silent on the other end of the phone.

After a while, Lawrence finally made a voice.

“I owe you this time. Jeffrey already drew up a transfer contract of the land in the eastern district. You’ll get the land after you sign it.”

Raymond arched his eyebrows.

“This girl is definitely something. You are spending a lot for her! But ….”

He glanced at the rear-view mirror while speaking.

“You’d better take it easy. Mind you don’t piss off your future Mrs. Harris!”

When Raymond hung up and started the car, a black car drove slowly from the darkness in a short distance.

The woman in the car narrowed her eyes and stared at the direction of Raymond’s car. Her eyes were as cold as the freezing ice.

The woman tightened her hand on her knees again and again, the veins popping out on the hand. After a while, she issued a command to her henchman in an icy voice.

“Get Charlotte out of the prison before Lawrence does. Now that it’s impossible to keep her in the prison, I’ll knock her off!”
