Gavin fell asleep and could not help laughing. I asked him in a low voice, "What are you laughing at?"

Gavin opened his eyes and said, "I'm fascinated by your beauty."

I felt a little ashamed, and said, "You are mad." Then I tried to get up, but Gavin pushed me down.

Gavin was very unreasonable, and said. "Stay with me a while longer. I am not busy to-day. Have a good rest."

This was true of himself as well as of me. He quickly fell asleep again, and I wondered if he had been talking in his sleep.

Gavin's arms were firm and warm, but he also felt sick. I disentangled myself from his arm, got up, and went out to see. Suddenly Gavin woke up and asked, "Where are you going?"

Not knowing whether to laugh or cry, I said. "I am hungry. I want to go to the kitchen and see if there is anything to eat."

Gavin sat up with dishevelled hair and said. "I am hungry... Let me think, there does not seem to be anything to eat at home. Let us order something."

I stopped quickly and said. "No, I want something light. I can do it myself. It's not like you have not eaten it before."

Gavin did not say a word and pulled me back into his arms. The stubble on his chin lingered in my mind. He said, "You want to eat, okay? Tell me the answer first."

He asekd senseless answer in an early morning, I asked, "What answer?"

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

"What If I said I don't want it."

"Then get out of here with your luggage. Go wherever you like!"

"You are threatening me in broad daylight!"

"I'm not just going to threaten you, I'm going to do it! " Gavin suddenly pressed his lips on me. I was so unprepared for his kiss that I forgot to resist.

Maintaining this posture for a long time, I pushed him away uncomfortably. He raised his head and looked at me. Suddenly he smiled. "Your face is so red!"
