Can't Let Go novel Chapter 61

"Both of you have your home, why do you sleep in my house?" Jennifer Huo was very dissatisfied.

Linda Yun was reading a book in bed. She didn’t pay attention to Jennifer Huo’s words at all.

"Hey, I’m talking to you. Are you listening?" Jennifer Huo threw the doll in her hand at Linda Yun.

Linda Yun frowned, put down the book and looked at her, "Ask your dad why I stay here. And you should check with her about her reasons!"

"Oh," Jennifer Huo suddenly laughed, "Are you jealous?"

Linda Yun stared at her, raised the eyebrows, and waited for her to continue.

"Last time my brother mistook you for her and slept with you, and then you fell for my brother? Heh, you desire his attention, don’t you?" Jennifer Huo got excited about this topic, "You must be very jealous that your sister stays here tonight!"

Linda Yun picked up the book and continued to read, she didn’t want to say anything.

"Oh oh oh, look! I know you feel awkward. Since you’ve slept with my brother, why are you still hanging out with Richard Qu? Are you shameless? I’ll tell Richard Qu this!" Jennifer Huo looked so complacent with her eyebrows raised.

If Richard Qu knew about that, he wouldn’t like her anymore.

  "Whatever." Linda Yun replied lightly.

Jennifer Huo was shocked by her reaction, "Don’t you care?"

Linda Yun was still calm and silent.

"Linda Yun. You don’t like Richard Qu, do you?" Jennifer Huo became so angry, "You don’t care about him at all, right? Otherwise, hearing my words, how could you still stay calm?"

Linda Yun raised her head, looked at the angry girl, and curled the corners of her mouth, "Jennifer Huo, no matter I care about him or not, the most important thing is, your care shouldn’t break morality, got it?"

Linda Yun closed the book, stood up and walked up to her.

And then, Linda Yun took her hand and opened the window with that hand.

The wind outside the window felt colder than anywhere else, because there was an artificial lake below the window.

Jennifer Huo unconsciously tried to close the window, but Linda Yun grabbed the window ledge and stopped her, See, you wanna close the window because of coldness. "Don’t you know you will freeze once you break the taboo?"

Jennifer Huo stared at her in silence.

"I know you hate me, because I made him fall for me, and I don’t care about him. You also hate this unfair world and everything that gets in your way, right?"

Jennifer Huo still made no comments, but anger was flaming in her eyes.

"Let me tell you, even if he doesn’t like me, he won’t choose you, either. You’re just not his type!"

"None of your business!" Suddenly, Jennifer Huo shouted, and reached out her hand to close the window.

Linda Yun frowned, grabbed her hand and pressed it against the window.

And then she said, "If you’re tough enough, just jump out of here!"

"What?" Jennifer Huo couldn’t move under her control, and she was surprised by her words.

Linda Yun loosened her hand and said grimly, "You don’t even have the courage to die, how could you stand the gossips and criticisms outside?"

The corners of Jennifer Huo’s mouth twitched, and she indignantly stammered, "It’s...it’s bullshit!"

"Ha, Linda Yun jeered, You know that I have a bad reputation, if the gossips about me are all transferred to you, can you hold on? You like your cousin, come on, it’s abnormal in modern society. If you don’t have blood relationship with him, it’s not a big deal, but, you do. So if you insist, the public opinions you will suffer could be a hundred times more than that of mine!"

Jennifer Huo could barely stand firm, and unconsciously took one step back, "You, you are lying, you..."

Linda Yun sneered at panicky Jennifer Huo, "Feifei, remember, you couldn’t never be me. I got nothing to lose so I can gamble. I don’t care about nothing!"

"What are you talking about? Gamble for what?"

Linda Yun chuckled,. "If the one you like hates you because of an irrelevant person, will you feel sad?"

  "What do you mean?"

"You like Richard Qu because he is gentle, outgoing and positive, right? If some day he suddenly became cruel, irritable and wrathful, will you still like him?"

"Watch your mouth. Richard Qu will never be cruel to me. Don’t speak ill of him. He’s not like that!" Jennifer Huo yelled.

"He’s not like that?" Linda Yun smiled.

Finishing these words, she climbed onto the window with a stool.

"What, what are you doing?" Jennifer Huo was stunned.

Linda Yun curled the corners of her mouth, "Let’s make a bet to see if you’re blinding yourself, huh?"

And then, Linda Yun jumped right out of the window.

  "Ahh..."Jennifer Huo started to scream.

  Two hours later

Linda Yun shocked the whole Family Huo by the jump.

Fortunately she could swim, and was rescued timely. So she suffered nothing but a cold.

However, Jennifer Huo wasn’t that lucky.

She was scolded by David Huo, Richard Qu and even Qu Zhirong.

The criticism lasted for more than one hour.

Jennifer Huo stayed silent from beginning to end.

Linda Yun had come to herself when Jennifer Huo returned to the room.

Jennifer Huo didn’t talk to her. She sat on the couch, and looked down in the mouth.

"Do you know him now?" Linda Yun sat up and said.

Jennifer Huo lowered her head, and said dully; this is the first time that he gets angry so scary. His eyes look so fierce.

Even now, she could hardly believe the horrible man is Richard Qu!

Linda Yun opened the quilt, stood on the floor with bare feet, and sounded slightly bleak, "You can’t take it anymore? You know, once your love turns into suffocating public opinions, the way he resents you could be more horrible!"

Jennifer Huo raised her head and looked at her, "Do you love Richard Qu?"

  "I won’t love anyone!"

Jennifer Huo was stunned for a while, "why?"

She didn’t continue, but she had a clue at once, "So Richard Qu asked you to pretend to be his girlfriend, right? He has known it, hasn’t he?"

Linda Yun didn’t say anything. She knew that Jennifer Huo was smart enough.

"Why did you help me?" Jennifer Huo looked at her, "Don’t you hate me?"

Linda Yun laughed, "I have no reason to hate you except your bad temper."

Jennifer Huos eyes turned red slowly, and then she began to cry with her head lowered.

"He knew that you are a fake girlfriend, but he treated you as if it was true. And he was so fierce to me so cruel. He said so many cold words He said that I’m merciless if my dad wasn’t there, he almost killed me. I won’t like him anymore."

Linda Yun sighed, sat beside her and held her in silence.

Crying for a while, Jennifer Huo raised her head and asked, "Tell me, how could I pay you back?"

  "Huh?"

"Listen, I don’t like you! I won’t change my mind even if you did that for me tonight."

  "Oh."

Jennifer Huo pouted, "I don’t like owing anyone, just tell me what you want, I’ll help you once, too!"

  "Are you sure?"

  "Yep, sure!"

"Ok, don’t forget your words. I haven’t got anything that needs your help. I’ll tell you later."

  Jennifer Huo was stunned, "Whatever."

After saying so, she jumped onto the bed and went to sleep right away.

Linda Yun didn’t say anything else. She looked at her, and knew that she was gloomy.

But, at that moment, all she could do was leave her alone.

And she had something important to do!

She walked away and turned Jennifer Huo’s laptop on.

And then, she started to backup the data to her own cloud account, meanwhile to some other devices.

At last, she imported some information into her cellphone.

She turned off the laptop after finishing all these work.

Suddenly, Jennifer Huo turned over on the bed.

Why do you love her? Why?

She was still confusing about that question in her dreams. Linda Yun was just a fake girlfriend, why did he like her?

Linda Yun stood up, and looked at Jennifer Huo with her eyes dimmed.

Maybe she needed to make it clear with Richard Qu.

With a deep breath, she picked up the cellphone and texted Richard Qu.

At the gate of the building

"How do you feel, Nian?" Richard Qu walked up to her at once, "It was all my fault, I never expected that Feifei would push you out of the window because of jealousy!"

Linda Yun looked at him dimly, Richard Qu, she didn’t push me, I jumped out myself!

  What?

  Then Linda Yun explained briefly.

"Why would you do that? You were playing with your life!" Richard Qu was pissed off, I can tell her in a hundred ways that I’ll never accept her. Did you know that you used an extreme way to solve this?"

Linda Yun looked at him, But normally the extreme way gets straight to the point. "Richard Qu , this is my reward for you. From now on, the game is over."

  "What game is over?"

  "The relationship game!"

Richard Qu frowned, "Why? Did I do anything wrong?"

"No, you are good. But I’m not good enough, so, it’s over!"

Finishing these words, she walked back to the gate.

Richard Qu was stunned for a second, then he caught up with her and grabbed her wrist, "Linda Yun, I like you!"

Linda Yun looked at his hand and then looked at his face, "But I don’t like you!"

"Impossible, even in this morning you…"

"What kind of person am I?" She interrupted him.

"You are very cute and real." Richard Qu replied without thinking.

Linda Yun chuckled, "No, you’re wrong. I’m not cute at all. To get the things I want, I can be unscrupulous. Frankly, I used you from beginning to end, and now you are useless!"

She got her hand back unceremoniously.

Richard Qu incredibly squinted at her, "I can’t believe this. Linda Yun, are you kidding?"

"On 21st March, your brother’s wedding day, you’ll see if I’m kidding now!"

"What do you mean? What are you up to?" Richard Qu frowned with anxiety.

Linda Yun smiled lightly, "I’m up to something a bad woman should do. Richard Qu, just wait and see, I’m gonna make a big splash in Austral City."

At that moment, a cab came.

  It was called by her.

Without hesitation, she immediately got in the cab and left Family Huo.

And left Austral City as well.
