Can't Let Go novel Chapter 113

It’s raining in Austral City again.

Linda Yun was standing in the grave yard, giving a sense of loneliness.

George Mo, however, was standing beside her and holding the umbrella for her.

Steven Meng’s ashes were buried in a tomb right next to Patricia Bai’s.

Linda Yun didn’t speak. These two people who loved her most and treated her best were under two cold gravestone now.

Her eyes began to ache for an instant.

A few seconds later, her sight became blurry just like this cloudy rainy day.

George Mo took a glance at her and sighed. He didn’t know how to console her.

"George, did I make a mistake..."

After a moment, her voice came, which was somewhat a little bit trembling.

George Mo looked to her side, noticing that she was lowering her eyes, thick eyelashes were adorably cute.

"You didn’t make any mistake. It is those vicious people that are to blame. Aunt Bai and Uncle Meng were both really kind and nice..."

"Ha," Linda Yun chuckled bitterly, "Kind and nice..."

Then she raised her head, looked at him and beamed, "I don’t wanna be a nice person. I will be a really bad person, a really bad person."

  "Linda!" George Mo frowned.

She just smiled, the moisture in her eyes had turned into tears, "This world is so unfair. Good person can’t survive, while devious ones could flaunt their prowess."

  "Linda..."

Linda Yun sensed the concern in his eyes. She withdrew her eyes and fixed them on the gravestone.

The next second, she walked to it and touch it slowing. Tears were ping from her eyes, "Uncle Meng, I’m sorry..."

  "Uncle Meng, I’m sorry..."

  "Uncle Meng, I’m sorry..."

  "I’m sorry..."

  "Linda!" Mo hurried to squat.

For Linda Yun was already kneeling on the wet ground. She was kneeling and making countless kowtows toward Steven Meng’s gravestone.

"I murdered you... I murdered you... I murdered you..."

"Linda, don’t do this. Come on, get up!" Mo was trying to pull her up.

But Linda Yun suddenly shouted, "I’m the murderer!"

"What are you saying?" Mo was a little bit pissed off. He frowned and said, "You get up. And we have a talk back home."

But Linda Yun shook his hand off. "You don’t get it? If it was not me, Uncle Meng wouldn’t have died! I’m the real murderer!"

"Linda Yun!"Mo was really angry and strengthened his voice, "That’s not your fault. Why you have to take up some unnecessary responsibilities?"

On speaking these, Mo felt his voice was a little bit heavy, so he slowed down his speed. "I know everything about Uncle Meng’s death. You are very sad. But it really has nothing to do with you. Don’t blame yourself again!"

Linda Yun didn’t respond. She just smiled faintly.

It had nothing to do with her?

How come it had nothing to do with her?

If it was not for her, Steven Meng wouldn’t have died!

It was her. It was her fault!

  She was a curse!

Anyone who cares about her will end up badly.

"Get up, Linda. Let’s go home." Mo supported her to stand up.

But Linda Yun withdrew her hand and uttered with her head lowered, "We’d better not contact each other. I’m going home by myself!"

And she was stepping down the steps.

Mo hurried up to grab her wrist, "Linda, what’s wrong with you?"

Linda Yun didn’t move and her voice was extremely indifferent, "George Mo, I’m married. Do you think it’s appropriate for us to be this close?" And she chuckled, "My husband will be mad."

Mo let go of her hand swiftly.

So Linda Yun continued to stepdown.

"Linda!" Mo thought over for a second, then he hurried to chase her, "I have no special purpose on you. I’ve said, I’m your brother. And Michael Huo knows that, I won’t have..."

"Are you sure?" Linda Yun looked straight into his eyes, "Are you sure you don’t have any special purpose on me?"

  George Mo was mute.

Linda Yun snorted, "Do you think it is easy for me to be this Mrs Huo? I don’t wanna lose this title. So stay away from me, okay?"

After these words, she turned around and left without hesitation.

However, what Mo didn’t see was

The moment she turned around, tears gushed out of her eyes.

She didn’t want to be a burden to anyone.

  None of them!

  George, I’m sorry...

After a while, she popped into a car.

Another 30 minutes later, she hopped off the car to meet someone.

The man was wearing sunglasses and a cap. He was sneaking around.

Linda Yun got off the vehicle in her hat and mask.

They switched a code and spoke.

  "Where is it?"

  "Where is the money?"

Linda Yun opened her bag, in which there was a bunch of money.

He checked and counted the money.

Then he handed the good to her and asked, "What are you going to explode? An old house? Or a mound?"

Linda Yun took the good and stayed silent.

"Hey. Miss. I’ve got to warn you. It’s very powerful. You’ve gotta run away after you light the string up. If you had any accident, I’m not responsible for that!" The man chattered.

"Is it useful? Can it kill people?"

The guy was stuck, "What do you mean?"

"Can it kill people?" She asked again.

The man frowned but he told the truth, "Yeah, it is really powerful. Well, you are not gotta... Yo, I didn’t let you to kill someone by selling you this!"

Linda Yun didn’t reply but shoved the package into her backpack. Then she uttered, "I know. Don’t worry, it’s none of your business."

And she turned around to get into the car.

The man was confused about it. But he beamed when he saw this money in his hand.

And he fled the scene right away.

Linda Yun dialed James Yun’s number, "I’ll be here in 20 minutes. I have something to show you."

After making the phone call, she texted a message to Liangchen Gu: Liangchen Gu, I received a video a few days ago. The heroine in it is you. I’ll arrive at the Yun family very soon, do you like to watch it? If you don’t, it doesn’t matter, cause my dad is on his way home!

After sending the message, she shut the phone down.

Then she leaned on the car window.

The rain was drizzling outside. Rain drops were dancing on the shield window.

"So tired..." She sighed. Her voice unveiled endless fatigue.

"Little girl, tired at your age?" The driver responded.

Linda Yun murmured, "Life is just exhausting..."

"Well, of course. You have to make a living. And it costs a lot to confront all these connections and social interactions. People are always tired, but dead people could relax." The driver seemed to have a lot to say.

  Hearing this, Linda Yun smiled.

  But not saying more words.

  ————

  25 minutes later.

  Linda Yun came back home.

She entered this freezing cold home with her backpack, beaming.

All maids ignored her coming back alone.

But she couldn’t care less. She just started to traipse around the hall.

"Mrs Huo, I mean, master and hostess are not home, Miss Mary Yun is in hospital, what are you doing here?" Aunt Feng wanted her to get out of here.

Mary Yun cast a glance at her and sneered, "Who are you? How dare you ask me this?"

Aunt Feng opened her mouth as if she wanted to argue something, but she snorted and left.

Linda Yun came to the living room, sat down, pulled out the cellphone, turned it on and connected it with the television.

When James Yun and Liangchen Gu stepped into this room, they were both shocked by the TV screen.

What it was playing was exactly the video that James Yun paid extra for, in which Liangchen Gu was the main role.

All maids stood away and didn’t dare to give out a sound.

"Ah————" Gu screamed instantly as she saw the screen.

Linda Yun was sitting on the couch, gazing calmly at Yun Zhirong.

James Yun was extremely furious that his face was twisted and all veins on his forehead bulged.

Gu swiftly turned the television down, dashed to her and yelled, "It was you! The bitch who uploaded the video!"

Her voice was ultimately harsh strident like she had exerted all her strength.

Linda Yun smiled faintly, "I didn’t know you have such a nice body before seeing this video!"

Gu’s face turned dead pale. Then she raised her hand to slap her on the cheek.

But Linda Yun quickly grabbed her wrist.

For the next second, she pulled Gu swift and hard toward her, which made Gu nearly fall down.

  "You dare to beat me?"

Gu wanted to pull her hand back, but her hand was locked by hers, "How dare you beat me after you did these shameless things, em?"

  And she shoved Gu away.

Gu staggered back and she almost fell onto the floor.

"All get out!" James Yun suddenly roared.

These maids ran away like frightening birds.

"Master, slow down." The guy who was following behind James Yun was his life-long personal assistant, Donald Yuan.

He held James Yun carefully to move all the way to Mary Yun.

The moment he was standing in front of her, he stamped the floor with his crutch, "You are really the one who uploaded this video?"

Linda Yun didn’t speak but fixed her eyes on Donald Yuan.

Her big eyes were soon full of tears.

She slowly stood up, clutched her shirts tightly, and choked with sobs, "You... You..."

Before she could say anything, tears flew from her eyes.

And she wiped her eyes the next second and beamed, "Your gold trimmed black button is really special."

Donald Yuan lowered his eyes down to look at these buttons on his working uniform and presented an unnatural expression.

"But why one is gone?" Linda Yun grilled him with a quivering voice.

Donald Yuan frowned and avoided her eyes, "I, I, I must have lost it during the laundry!"

Then he coughed to belie his awkwardness.

Unconsciously, Linda Yun bit her lips really hard.

She tried to use this sense of pain to calm her mind down.

"I ask you, did you upload the video?" James Yun enquired and rapped the floor with his crutch.

Linda Yun lowered her head and wiped all the tears out.

When she looked up again, her eyes was full of coldness.

"Shouldn’t you thank me? If it was not me, you couldn’t have the chance to see the real her, right?"

"Linda Yun!" Liangchen Gu was pissed off and was to dash over to beat her.

"Bang!" On seeing this, Linda Yun threw the vase nearby on the ground.

Then she picked a piece and pointed at Gu with the spike.

Gu was petrified by her behavior.

Staring at James Yun, Linda Yun suddenly giggled, "People will change right? A decade years ago, you tossed my mom out of this door for she had cheated on you. And now what? This woman is having an affair with her fancy man under your nose, why you suddenly don’t behave like what you used to do? Or I could say that this woman shared some dark secrets with you, so you couldn’t kick her out of here?"
