Can't Let Go novel Chapter 126

When Linda Yun woke up, it was already nine o’clock the next morning,

and she didn’t find him in her side.

For the first time, he did not go home when he was in Austral City.

The empty bed let her mood suddenly depressed.

Sitting up, she leaned against the head of the bed, being in a daze, and not knowing what she was thinking.

Just then, the door was pushed open.

  "Awake?" he asked.

She was amazed, and looked look at him.

He came in and smiled. "I came back late last night. I had slept in the guest room for fear I would interrupted your rest," he explained, and walked to her, saying, "I have opened the door twice in the morning, and you didn’t wake up. I have made breakfast for you!"

She looked at him, frowning, and it was hard for her to take in this message.

"What’s the matter?" He asked smilingly, and put a hand on her cheek, "Why are you staring at me like that?"

"You came back last night?" asked Linda Yun.

"Yes!" He nodded and explained, "Yesterday I met with Patricia and other friends and I drank too much, so I smelled badly." He said, smiling helplessly. "I know, you don’t like that smell, and now you have a baby. So I rested in the guest room, but I promise that I won’t drink any more. It’s really uncomfortable for me to sleep in the guest room!"

Linda Yun did not speak, looking at him, and suddenly wanted to cry.

"What’s the matter?" seeing her sudden reddish eyes, he was worried, and aske, "what’s wrong?"

She shook her head and smiled, "Nothing. the book says that the mood of a pregnant womon is changeable. What did you make for breakfast?"

Hen helped her up, and pulled her hand to the bathroom. He squeezed her toothpaste, and said, "Aunt Fang always cook noodles for you. You must be tired of eating noodles, so today I have cooked rice roll for you. I have just learned it!"

"Rice roll?" Linda Yun took the toothpaste, a little surprised, asking. She hadn’t eaten it for a long time.

All of a sudden, she felt a lot of her saliva coming out in her mouth.

"Don’t look at me like that. This roll is not spicy!" said Michael Huo.

She laughed. It didn’t matter whether it was spicy or not. Just it’s enough so long as you have change the food.

  Soon, she finished washing.

He had already brought rice roll to the table.

"After breakfast, we’ll go back to Mansion Huo" he smiled at her and said.

  She was a little puzzled.

"Today is my dad’s birthday!" He said with a smile.

"What?" Linda Yun was stunned and asked. She put down her chopsticks.

"Is it Dad’s birthday today? Why didn’t you tell me? " asked Linda Yun.

He smiled, "Haven’t I tell you just now?"

She was a little unhappy, complaining, "but I haven’t bought anything yet. How do I prepare for this now? "

"No matter what you will buy is not good as our baby." He said.

She was unhappy, saying, "No. I don’t think so. I don’t want to eat any more. let’s go to the mall, and buy a gift for our Dad!"

She was about to get up.

Seeing this, he lightly pressed her to sit down, saying "Just enjoy your breakfast. I’ve already prepared the gift!"

  She was a little helpless.

"In fact, my father does not lack anything. You know what he wants most!" he said with gentle eyes.

  She had to give up.

After breakfast, aunt Fang came back with fruits.

He asked aunt Fang to go with them so she could take care of her.

  ————

  One hour later.

  They came to Mansion Huo.

David Huo did not like publicizing anything, nor did he like being too extravagant.

But today there were still a lot of people who were basically all his old friends and some people with unusual status.

Of course, the whole Family Huo was still in a high-grade style.

Today, Qu Zhirong was dressed elegantly just like a noble hostess. And beside her, David Huo was dressed casually, but his clothes still could not cover his extraordinary temperament.

"Dad" Michael Huo walked to him, with his arms around the Linda Yun.

David Huo smiled and walked to them. "Here you come."

"Happy Birthday, Dad." she greeted, feeling a little bit embarrassed.

Michael Huo hurriedly handed him a gift box, saying, "This is for you. Linda Yun chose it.!"

  She lowered her head.

David Huo smiled and said, "I don’t need anything. You needn’t have to buy these things. Just come back and pay a visit on me when you are free. Later, let’s go to see the child’s room on the third floor. Your mother has just finished arranging it." He couldn’t hide his smile, and added, "Your mother did it by herself!"

  Both of them were surprised.

David Huo said, "Your mother is looking forward to the arrival of your baby more than anyone."

  A few more people came.

David Huo saw this, saying "I’ll go and entertain them first. Remember to have a good chat with these uncles later!"

  Michael Huo understood and nodded.

Walking inside, they saw a group of ladies talking. Qu Zhirong saw her, and looked at her abdomen.

The ladies also looked at her slightly protruding belly.

The two walked to them. Linda Yun smiled politely, and greeted, "Hello, mom and aunts!"

Those ladies nodded hurriedly and asked with a smile, "How many months have you been pregnant?"

"It will be four months soon." answered Linda Yun.

"Oh, it’s so soon, your baby is about to move! " they said.

  She smiled.

"Would you like to come back to your room and have a rest for a while?" Michael Huo asked her.

  She nodded.

"Aunts, we’ll leave for a rest." said Michael Huo, hugging his wife and walking to the elevator.

The ladies kept talking, "I think their baby will be a boy!" said Qu Zhirong’s best friend.

The rest ladies said, "Yes, though small is her belly, but seeing from her back, I really can’t find that she’s pregnant, so I’m afraid the baby may be a boy!"

Hearing this, Qu Zhirong looked at Linda Yun’s back in a strange way.

  ————

  In the third floor.

"Will Jennifer not come back to attend Dad’s birthday today?" When they returned to their room, Linda Yun asked him.

"Dad didn’t allow her to come back. After all, she had just integrated herself into the university and everything was just on track. There is no use for her to come back. So she will come back in the holiday."

Jennifer Huo applied to the most famous foreign university called A University last semester.

Of course, she was addmitted basically due to her human relations and financial strength.

However, Studying abroad was helpful to cultivate her independence and communicative skills.

She was worried, and asked, "Can she make it alone?"

"Don’t worry, there’s someone taking care of her there. She’s not as weak as you think!" He smiled.

And just then, someone was knocking the door.

"Master, my lord asked you to go downstairs." came the voice of aunt Zhang from the door.

  "Well, I see!" answered him.

He looked at her, saying, " Have a rest in the room for a while. Later, after everyone is here. I’ll take you downstairs to have meals. Of course, if you don’t want to, I’ll have aunt Fang bring you some foods up!"

"That’ all right. I’ll go downstairs on my own later." Said Linda Yun.

Today was not someone else’s birthday, but David Huo’s, the person who treats her best in this family..

Of course she could’t stay at room like this.

"OK, I’ll pick you up later. Now that the guests have just arrived, it will be a bit of a mess. If you’re bored, you can watch TV." said Michael Huo.

"Don’t worry, I’m not a three-year-old child. Get downstairs quickly! "she said, feeling a little helpless.

He said a few more words before he went out.

His departure made her think a lot when she looked at the empty room.

She had lived here for more than one year, but she still didn’t take it as her home.

She would like to stay in that apartment.

She came to the balcony and leaned against the sofa, with a book in her hands.

  Time went by.

There was someone knocking the door.

"Ma’am" came the voice of aunt Fang.

Linda put on her shoes and opened the door.

"Ma’am, Master told you that you can go downstairs," said aunt Fang.

"Okay!" Linda Yun said, and followed aunt Fang downstairs.

There was buffet in the banquet hall. The seafoods were sent to here by airplane, and the desserts were made by Michelin Chef.

The whole banquet hall was filled with small groups of people. They gathered to chat.

With wine in their hands, David Huo and Michael Huo were constantly going through the crowd, and greeted their friends.

Qu Zhirong greeted many ladies with a smile in her face.

"Sorry, my wife is coming." Michael Huo nodded slightly to greet an older man, and walked to Linda Yun.

"Are you hungry?" he asked Linda Yun. Then, he gave the wine to the servant and went to the kitchen with his arms around her waist.

Linda Yun frowned and said, "where are you going? Isn’t that where the foods were? "

"It was a buffet, not for you. I have asked the cooker to make you a nutritious meal alone." said Michael Huo. They came to the kitchen.

"Master." the cook Uncle Liu smiled at them immediately, and then hurriedly brought the cooked foods to the table.

Michael Huo sat opposite to her and said with a smile, "Uncle Liu has prepared this lunch all morning. Please eat more!"

"Yes, I’ve been preparing it for a long time. Please eat more and see how is my cooking skill," said Uncle Liu, handing her chopsticks.

"Thank you, Uncle Liu," she said, and ate a mouthful of rice. She was really hungry. However, after taking a few mouthfuls, she found that Michael Huo did not eat.

"Why don’t you eat?" asked Linda Yun.

"I’m not hungry," he said as he went to wash his hands, and then he peeled shrimps for her.

Seeing this, Uncle Liu smiled and went to the kitchen.

"Master" aunt Zhang came here suddenly, and called. "What’s wrong?" Michael Huo looked up at aunt Zhang, and asked.

Aunt Zhang looked at him, and then at Linda Yun.

  "What’s the matter?" He asked.

Aunt Zhang frowned and whispered, "Miss Mary Yun attended the party, and she wanted to see you."
