Can't Resist the Billionaire novel Chapter 43

Christopher, what on earth were you thinking? Since you have decided to abandon me, you should do it thoroughly. What did you hope to achieve by bothering me again? Did you really think I was a toy you could call and play with anytime you wanted? If you wanted me, you could just come over and say nice words while selling me when you got tired of me?

After Christopher had left for about two hours, Vincent returned. When he came back, his face was a bit bad. When I wondered what was wrong with him, he could not help but ask, "Has Christopher been here?"

I was slightly stunned, hesitated for a moment and then said to him honestly. "Yes, but he left!"

Vincent was quite dissatisfied with my answer. He looked at me up and down and then asked me in a deep voice. "How long did he stay?"

I did not know why he asked that, so I answered a little sheepishly. "I have not seen him for a long time, and I have not even let him into the house!"

"You did not let him in? Do you want me to show the surveillance of the hotel for you?" After saying that, Vincent suddenly pushed me onto the sofa in a rage and pinned me down.

He suddenly wanted to force me, so I shouted at him desperately. "Vincent, what do you want to do?"

"What am I doing here? I also need to ask you what Christopher and you did!" After saying that, Vincent pushed my shirt up to my chest and then looked down at my half-naked chest and said, "There are still such fresh marks here. Did you even tell me you did not do anything together?"

Those were indeed some bruises on my chest after being tortured by Christopher. Also, it looked very obvious. If someone did not know the situation, they would have thought it was the marks left by having sex with someone. It was no wonder Vincent was so angry when he saw it.

But what I do know was, how did Vincent know about Christopher's visit to me? Had Vincent found someone to monitor me?

I reached out my hand to push Vincent away. While struggling, I asked him, "Are you monitoring me?"

Vincent was not hiding anything and said directly, "Yes, I asked the hotel staff to keep an eye on you, but I just wanted them to take care of your injury and not let you wander around. But I did not expect you to have sex with that man in my room!"

"What the hell, I did not do anything to him, okay?" I was so angry that I pulled my clothes completely around my neck so Vincent could get a good look at them. "You should take a good look at me. The reason that I have such bruises was because I had sex with him? That's obviously pinched from him, isn’t it?"

"What do you mean?" After hearing my explanation, Vincent's eyes darkened and and checked carefully at my bruises. He did as I said and took a good look at my injuries. As expected,  after understanding everything, he immediately got up from the sofa and went to Christopher to settle the score.

"Christopher, the son of b*tch, how dare you touch my woman? You don't want to live anymore!" Vincent was so angry that he really opened the door and went to settle the score with Christopher. I got up in a panic and tried to hold him. But I fell down from the sofa.

Vincent watched me fall awkwardly off the sofa, then turned to help me. "What are you doing? don't move around. Go back and lie on the bed!"

'If you have not gone to settle accounts with Christopher, why should I be so excited as to fall from the sofa? I raised my head and glared at him. Suddenly, I grabbed him by the shirt and pleaded, "Do not look for him anymore. It's all in the past!"

Vincent was clearly unhappy with the way I defended Christopher. He glared at me and deliberately said, "No. We have agreed that from now on you are my girl. If he dares to touch you, I will not let him off so easily!"

"Forget it, I'll be staying with you from tomorrow so he can not find me, right?" In fact, I was still a little hesitant about moving in with Vincent. But now that it had come to this, it seemed like I had no choice.

After I left Christopher and temporarily disappeared from his world, everyone calmed down again. The rest of my journey, let me think about how to proceed!

Vincent had been waiting for this. When he saw that I had finally spoken, he was overjoyed. "All right, then. Since you have already said that. I'll let him go!"

After saying this, Vincent bent down and picked me up from the floor. Then he gently laid me back on the bed. My feet had been swollen since I had fought with Christopher. Now I had sprained my ankle when I fell off the sofa, causing me terrible pain. The swollen areas became even more swollen.

Vincent reached out to lift my ankle and looked at it. He asked me worriedly, "Does it hurt? I will take you to the hospital."

I quickly waved at him. "It's okay. There's no need. I'll just need a rest!"

Vincent sighed deeply, picked up the medicine on the table and wiped it for me. Then he said to me with some anger. "You should have called me when Christopher came. Why did not you call me? Now you deserve to be like this!"

I rolled my eyes and said helplessly, "At least I need a cell phone, bro."

Vincent looked up at me and thought for a moment. Then he pulled out his cell phone and called the staffs of his company. He asked them to buy a cell phone and send it to me later. By the way, he bought a brand new card. I thought it did not matter to change the cell phone, but I still had to get the old sim card back. I had a bad memory and couldn't even remember my parent's numbers. If I changed the new phone number, I would lose contact with my parents. Or if they called Christopher or my phone was answered by him, then Vincent and I would be…

"Hey, I think it would be better if I took my own phone back? I think it's more practical!" I suggested to Vincent in a low voice.

Vincent looked at me. He must have sensed that I was about to engage Christopher further, so he said to me angrily. "What do you mean? You are afraid you will not be able to contact this man again, right?"

"No. I'm just afraid that my parents will call me, in case..."

"Well, I know. I'll find a way to get it later!" I did not know why Vincent seemed to become very rational and principled when I mentioned my parents. He was not as unruly and unreasonable as before.

Since Vincent had promised to give me back my phone, I did not need to talk nonsense. I did not want the young master to be unhappy and yell at me.

After dinner, Vincent noticed that my feet no longer hurt, so he had me try to walk. I stood up and walked a few steps. It was still a little difficult, but I was much more agile than yesterday. He saw that my feet were not much of a problem, so he nodded and said to me, "I'll walk with you tonight!"

I snorted and asked, "What are you going out for?"
