She had a taste of the consequences of her willulness, and she wouldn’t want to be put through the pain anymore.

Soon, her phone rang. “Give me a second. I’ll take this call”

She let go of his hand and picked up the phone from the table. Surprised to see Mrs. Rosie’s name on the screen, she hesitated before

“Madam Alice,” Mrs. Rosie longingly called out to her.
