Katherine was startled and the serious look on her face completely faded away.

She looked at Marshall disdainfully, “Will you drink you water or not? Go away if you don’t want it.”

She then stood up and went upstairs without waiting for Marshall’s reaction.

Marshall chuckled when sitting on the couch and watched her figure disappeared in the staircase.

He didn’t leave immediately and was absorbed in thought.

Katherine decided not to speak to Marshall and went to bed after washing up.

She was exhausted after a busy day of working in the store and going to the Walters family.

After tidying herself up, she got on bed and quickly fell asleep.

She was surprised to find that Marshall’s car was still in the yard.

Marshall curled up his lip and smiled evilly, “You already regard me as a shameless man, so I decide to show my shameless behaviour to you.”

Katherine supported her upper body and wanted to get up, saying, “Go away.”

Marshal raised up his hand and pressed her shoulder, then pressed her on the bed again, “Katherine, I also share the same opinion that it’s inappropriate for me to spend a night here. How about making everything reasonable?”

Katherine frowned and asked, “What do you mean?”

She then thought for a while and asked, “Have you contacted Marshall? He’s mad with me and don’t pick up my phone. I am thinking about if you can do me a favour to ask him out. I want to tell him something.”

Clara didn’t reply and seemed to be hesitated.

Frances continued, “Your work has connections and will probably see each other often. You can just tell him you have something to talk about.”

Clara compressed her lips when driving and didn’t reply.
