Reese's POV

I felt a headache as I opened my eyes. What happened? I looked around and found myself in my room. The earlier incident flashed in my mind. Dad said Avan is not here. Where did he go? I tried to sit but my body ached and I hissed.

"Don't move" mom walked in all smiling.

"Mom, what happened? Why am I feeling aching all over my body?"

"The pain will go away, don't worry. You just have to take good care of you"

I frowned at her "what are you saying mom? You sound so weird today?"

Mom smiled brightly "do you know what happened Reese. We can finally get hold on Avan stronger than before"

"How?"

She held my hand "because doctors confirmed that you are pregnant"

My eyes widened in shock. Pregnant? Am I pregnant? Oh my god, I really can't believe it at all. Finally after a hard work I can achieve my goal and bind Avan with me using this unbreakable bond. My eyes get watery as I think of a scenario Avan holding our baby and playing in the garden.

"Mom, is it true?" I asked to confirm again.

Mom nodded again "I have double checked everything and it was confirmed by the pack doctor himself so there's no wrong in there"

I smiled "is Avan back mom?"

"I don't know, I have not gone outside other than calling the doctor"

My smile faded. He is not back yet? What's taking him so long to get back here? I couldn't possibly wait for him to know about our baby. My heart flattered with happiness again. It's our baby, Avan's baby. Now that the symbol of love has bloomed in my womb, we can finally have our happily ever after.

"Now that the baby is on the way, Avan couldn't avoid you like he is doing all these years"

"But mom, will he do as we think?" I asked.

She frowned "why not? It's his child anyway. Besides, he became Alpha two years ago yet still doesn't have Luna by his side. It will be shameful for an Alpha to rule alone without any mate or Luna. And in this situation you are giving him off spring and allowing him to grow more stronger. How could an intelligent person like him won't understand such a fact? Don't worry, this time your pregnancy is the biggest taboo and even if he wanted to avoid it he couldn't. And there's still his father"

I nodded "I am just hoping that this situation will go smoothly. In the event I still felt that Avan is trying to reconcile with that bitch"

"Don't think about that slut now. All you have to do is take care of you and nourish the child inside you. Even if you are not his mate he won't have any choice but to accept you"

"Our baby will make him stay with me forever" I smiled and rubbed my flat belly.

"You both are made for eachother. Just don't let this opportunity slip by. This is our last chance and you have to be cautious about it. Do you understand?"

"Yes" I looked at my stomach and said grinning "I will do everything to keep him with this baby. I have waited for so many years and now I don't want to wait anymore. After all these waiting period it finally time to take decision"

Mom was about to say when the door burst opened and a pissed looking Avan walked in. The mess in the room was long cleared up but seeing him looking at me my heart jumped suddenly.

He is here.

"I will leave you two to talk" mom said before withdrawing from the room.

"What's this?" Avan asked as soon as the door closed.

"What are you talking about Avan? You didn't come to meet me at all" I frowned.

"Just answer my questions," he said using a cold tone.

"Avan what happened to you?"

Avan rolled his eyes annoyed "fuck, how did you get pregnant all of a sudden?"

My eyes widened "what do you mean by that Avan? Are you questioning it? It's your child? Your own blood and flesh. How could you ask me that?"

"Your timing is too accurate Reese, tell me how did you get pregnant suddenly?" Avan laughed. But that was not something humorous but a pissed one.

I gulped down my saliva in fear but my mind was already determined "Avan what kind of question was that? We have been together for many years and we had sex so much. And we have been doing it recently, making love most of the time. How can you ask such questions to me?"

Avan narrowed his eyes "is not it you who was always trying to seduce me? You have become clingy these days....it's .." he paused "it was your plan isn't it?"

My heart beat raced suddenly. I know he is smart and will find out but no, I won't let him think of me in such a way.

"Are you accusing me now?" I cried out "is that only me who was doing that. You are also in it. Remember it Avan I can't have sex myself and get pregnant at the end. These days you have been trying to vent all your anger and frustration on me using my body. I didn't say anything because I love you so much and want to releave your pain to help you. Is it my fault that during this I got pregnant? Is it possible for me to get pregnant alone?" I yelled at him.

Avan clenched his fist tightly. His eyes were red as he glared down at me. I know, what I have said to him was true and no matter what he just couldn't deny this fact. Seeing him staying silent I took the chance to continue.

"What was my fault that you are accusing me like this?" I cried, tears were flowing down but I didn't stop. "I have been waiting for you all these years and have done everything that you said. Just because I love you so much that I am willing to sacrifice everything I have so that I can be with you. Is it my fault? I knew that I was not your real mate so our bond won't be as strong as Savannah's. But I am still willing to take risks and stay by your side. I have waited all these years without any questions just for you. But now that there is a baby in my womb you are accusing me like this? Avan this is your child, your own blood and flesh. One day when it grows up and questions you, will you be able to answer? I have given all of myself to you yet you still refuse to trust me a bit and even try to accuse me of planning to have a baby?" I coveted my face and sobbed loudly.

"Fuck" I heard him curse then a breaking sound followed. When I looked up I saw him walking away and kicked the door open before leaving me behind. I couldn't help but look at his way.

He is angry right now but he is still refusing to trust me with this baby? I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth in anger. I have even rejected my own mate just for him yet he is accusing me like this? This time I wouldn't let him do what he wants. He has to accept that this is his child no matter what. And for that I will take every risk.

Savannah's POV

"Welcome home darling" Hardwick whispered as he helped me out of the car. I stood there beside him watching the huge castle type pack mansion. There were four guards at the entrance gate when he drove the car inside. The surrounding scenario is too beautiful and I couldn't help but look around in awe.

"This is so beautiful" I mumbled.

"Glad you like it," he smiled.

"This is where you live?" I asked. Though I had been inside once when he kidnapped me, I was reluctant to look around because of anger and rush to leave the place. But now looking at this, I couldn't help but admire it.

"Wrong, this is where we are going to live"

I held back my smile as it threatened to come out. This man clearly knows how to flatter my heart with his words. Such a sweet- tongue guy.

"Come on, let's go inside. There's more you can see" he grabbed my hand and led me towards the mansion. The outdoor design of the mansion was built with glass but it was not transparent at all. The glass wall looked shiny and mirrored the views of outside capturing it making it look like there was another background inside the mirror.

The large glass door opened revealing a huge hall. A crystal chandelier hung above all glittering and there were fish tanks on each side of the door. Like they are placed to welcome guests with their beautiful colours.

"Wow" I was amazed. The tiled flood was something, you can see your reflections if you look closely. "You really know how to decorate huh"

He chuckled "it's not me but my designer. But I should thank you anyway"

"It must have cost a fortune just to build this hall" I frowned.

He suddenly laughed out "you don't have to be worried about it love. This mansion is unique and has been built since our generation has started. It's just the descendants redecorate it if they wants"

"Redecorate? You did too?" I asked him with surprise.

"Not much. I am not interested in these" he smiled.

"So you didn't do anything?" I tilted my head.

"I did"

"Really? What did you do?"

"So excited to know?" He raised his eyebrows.

I rolled my eyes "you are no fun. What will it take for you just to reply directly?"

"Everything needs to be paid , darling. And I think you know this well" he smirked.

"You want money?" I frowned. "But you already have fortune"

He grinned "who needs money baby? What I need is something only you can afford to give"

"What do you want?" I felt like there's something wrong.

"This" before I could understand I felt myself hanging in the air. I squealed loudly.

"Hardwick, what are you doing?" I was startled. My god, this man. Does he take me as a sack of potatoes?

"Quiet" he whispered.

"No, put me down" I punched his back. How could he just throw me over his shoulder. Don't I have any weight in my body?

"I said quiet" he slapped my but.

"Hardwick" I gasped but he only chuckled.

"Are you out of your mind? What if others see us like this? What will they think?"

"Taming you"

I rolled my eyes "you have answers for every question?" I crossed my arms feeling annoyed. He walked towards the stairs as I was still hanging on his shoulder. This man is too insane. No one will be able to predict what he will do next.

"It has been a long time," he suddenly said.

"Long for what?" I frowned. What's he talking about now?

"To have your sweet taste" he replied huskily.

My heart jumped hearing his tone. God, I almost forgot this man is the god of perverts. Now that we are here in his place.... I mentally face palmed myself. Wow, I have given myself to the lion who is now dragging me inside his den.

"Talking to your wolf is not good when your mate is still here darling" there comes his voice.

"You really know well about me. It's my own wolf, what does it have to do with you?"

"You both are mine" he replied as he walked towards the door.

The room was dark when we got inside, but when he switched on the light I was surprised. The room was not too manly or too womanly. It was adjusted between the two levels. Starting from the colour to the set of furniture or to say even the chosen of the curtains and other small decorations that were done.

"This.."

"Our room" Hardwick replied even before I could ask.

"Our room" I mumbled as I looked around. The lime coloured wall with black master bed in the middle. Violet curtain hung down covering the sunlight.

"Did you like it?" He asked.

"It's good" I smiled and forgot the fact that I am still hanging on his shoulder.

"Are you letting me down or you are planning to keep me this way?" I sighed. I can never win against this man. I started to feel stomach pain now.

He didn't reply but gently placed me on bed before smiling down at me.

"What?" I frowned as I supported my body placing my hands on each side.

"Later Luina will come and show you about your arrangements"

"Later? Why not now?"

"Because right now, I want you all to myself" he smirked.

I raised my eyebrows "am I not already here?"

"Of course you are, that's why I want to devour you"

My eyes wide "you..." I pushed him away "what are you thinking? What would your pack member say if they saw this? They will think I am too clingy"

The corner of his lips raised "oh, believe me. I want you to be clingy all the time"

"You ...you ..." I pointed my index finger at him "you are such a pervert"

"Oh darling it's only for you"

With one push I fell back on bed and he quickly hovered over me. He smiled as he leaned down "I missed you so much"

I wanted to reply but this pervert didn't let me have that chance as I felt his lips already devouring me. All the strangeness suddenly faded away and I felt home, with him, in his arms.
