Hardwick's POV

The painful groan echoed in the dark cell but there's no one who could help the person in pain. Another whip fell on the already bruised skin making the groan louder.

"Stop..... Stop ....stoppppp" the person shouted on his top lung.

I waved my hand and Ryan pulled back the spiked whip away. I got up from my chair and smirked when the ruined face of my enemy became more torn.

"Are you liking my welcome dear Messiah? Do you want more?"

Messiah looked up. His face was covered with cuts and it was bleeding. His face looked horrible and I guess that even his subordinates couldn't recognise him. His face looked painful yet there's not an ounce of pity in my heart.

"Hardwick let me go" he said as he panted.

"When did I tie you?" I asked, shoving my hands in my pocket and throwing an annoying smirk at him "I am keeping you without any bound so why are you complaining about letting you go?" I stepped forward "you can leave anytime you want it's just .... this leaving is also depends on you, whether you could or not"

His body shook then it trembled "you are torturing me here you bastard. You think you are giving me an opportunity?"

"If I were in your place then I wouldn't have raised my voice like you. You know what I hated the most is invading my territory without any notice. If you were that much interested in war all you needed to do was inform me instead of sneaking around"

Messiah glared at me "huh, don't probe Hardwick. Just because you have a large army it doesn't mean you could always take the winning crown. Let me tell you there will be one day when you will be helpless even with your force" he snapped.

"You think only an army is enough to build an empire?" I laughed "it has been years yet your IQ is still stuck in elementary position Messiah. Tsk, tsk looks like even all these years you haven't learnt much"

"Fuck you bastard" Messiah hissed.

"Shut it" I mocked "throw your temper to those who will be scared by that. Since you are not aware of that I will teach you some. You were talking about training and having a large army gives you an advantage to win? Is that? " I smirked "but let me clear your conscience, having an army is not enough, having strong force is not enough. Even if it has possibilities of your advantages but if you are weak and your mind works in an elementary position then you are destined to lose. For example YOU"

Messiah's face turned paler. Even through the brushes I can clearly determine his expression. His paleness made my smirk turn into a grin. God, it's really entertaining.

"And about me being helpless then you can only dream. There's no one who can do that" I told him arrogantly.

"Fuck you Hardwick" Messiah growled "don't get so high. If I get the chance I will drag you down to hell with me"

I smirked "looks like you still want to enjoy the welcoming process"

"Come on man. Let's just finish this. I am getting impatient" Ryan said, rolling his eyes.

"Not so fast" I replied as I fixed my gaze on Messiah who was on the dark floor of the cell. If it was not because of him I wouldn't have come here leaving my mate at such a moment. I have no idea what she would think of me leaving her after progressing so much. I was about to take her, I was about to get a taste of heaven but this bastard had to interfere and ruin everything. How could I let him go so easily?

I squatted down before Messiah "you like to intervene in my territory isn't it? I have been giving you chances to stop and get the hell out of my place yet you could not keep your claws to yourself and had to ruin it. Huh the rogue master, are you enjoying my welcome gift?"

"Don't talk like it's all my fault Hardwick" Messiah glared "it was you for whom I was kicked out of the pack. If you were there then I would still be living in the pack holding a high position but it's all because of you that I had to leave. You think I like living like this? It's it was not for you then I would still be happy with my life"

"Don't throw your sins on others you bastard" Ryan growled from behind. "It was you who raped the teenage girl who didn't even shifted. You think ruining one's life is a small mistake? Because of your fucking shit she lost the ability to shift. It was all because of you, bastard" he shouted.

Messiah glared at Ryan but didn't say anything.

"You have done many sins Messiah and even after that just kicking out of the pack was just a small punishment that didn't even enter my eyes. If I could I would have put you to death. But alas those elders..... You were lucky enough because of them. But now you dug your own grave. I hope you won't think too much about it"

Messiah gritted his teeth "if you let me go this time I will leave and would never come back"

I laughed out loud. Does he think all these are funny? He thinks just because he said so he will be able to leave? Is there any more naive person than him?

"You think it's easy?" I smirked at him "I have given you thousands of chances yet you never picked them. And now that there's no route for you, now are trying to probe huh?" I grabbed his chin and pulled his face so that we could look at each other.

"At first I was not interested in dealing with you but you forced me to do this. If it's not for you I wouldn't have to leave my mate alone and come here. You really have the guts to interfere in my work. Since you enjoy it then I will give you what you desired" I said and shouted again "Kristopher"

"Master" the huge man walked in bowing his head. Kristopher is a wild man. He is taller and has a huge body beyond normal so it makes him look giant.

"I have a new pet for you. Would you like to play with him?" I smirked.

Kristopher raised his head and looked at Messiah. I could see the drool on his face. And mother thing about Kristopher is he is a sex starved wild beast. He doesn't like women but his taste sticks on men. And for a handsome man like Messiah is definitely his type. I could definitely guess Kristopher's intention so I got up and smirked at Messiah.

"I think you are gonna remember this night forever"

"Let's go Ryan" I said as I walked towards the exit door.

"Are you sure about it?" Ryan asked as he walked beside me.

"I want to put end on this chapter"

There was a scream in the cell.

"And I hate disturbance when I am with my mate" I said as I walked towards my car.

"Are you missing Luna?" He smirked.

"She will be mad at me" I hissed "I fucking left her alone at night" I shook my head.

"I want to tell you something"

"What?" I opened the car door.

"I found my mate"

I was about to get inside but stopped suddenly when he said that.

"You found mate?" I frowned.

He nodded "yeah"

"Who is it?"

"Jenny"

"How come she became your mate?"

"It's a long story. I found her long back but couldn't say anything because she didn't accept me so I had to stop myself from speaking about it.

"It's good you got a mate. Now you will understand what it feels like" I said as I sat inside the car. Fuck because of this rogues I had to leave my mate on my warm bed. I couldn't even call her or give any messages. I wanted to finish this matter for good and it had me work loaded. I shook my head and started the engine. I need to get my mate before it's too late. Then I speed up to reach the pack house soon.

It didn't take time to reach the pack house. Finally I can meet my mate. I was so disturbed and now I can explain. Because of the work I couldn't call her nor meet her. She must be angry with me for leaving like that. I hope she is not angry. I said in my mind my but stopped on my track when I saw Luina. I smiled and walked towards her.

"Where is Mistress?" I asked curiously.

"Master" she bowed.

I waved my hand indicating her to stop "where is she? Aren't you supposed to stay by her side?"

"Master that..." Luina hesitated.

I frowned "what happened?"

"Master, Mistress is not here. She left the pack"

I felt like my world stopped for a moment. She left? But why? She couldn't leave like that. Though I know she must be mad but the reason is not serious enough for her to leave like this. I gritted my teeth.

"What the fuck happed behind me and why she left?"

"Master, Mistress was all fine and good. She didn't say anything about leaving. I don't know why she suddenly urged me to leave. I wanted to stop her but I couldn't"

"What happened?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"Master, miss Delaney talked with-"

"What did you say?" I frowned. Did I hear right? Delaney? How come Delaney is here? And I was not informed?

"Delaney. She talked with Mistress 2 days ago then Mistress suddenly left in rush"

My fist clenched. Fuck. Delaney, that slut had to come back and ruin me again. That whore, fucking witch. I cursed as I thought about her. What kind of information she pushed to my mate that my mate left suddenly? It's all because of her again. Looks like I am paying to keep a group of bastards who couldn't even send me information earlier. Fuck. What am I going to do now?

I marched towards my room but stopped when someone called me from behind.

"Alpha"

My body stiffened as I heard the tone. A kind of urge started to run in my blood while pushing towards the sea of anger. I turned and glanced at the person behind me.

"It's really you" Delaney walked forward with teary eyes. "I still couldn't believe it's really you. It has been so long afte-"

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.

Her smile froze as she looked at me "you still didn't forgive me?"

"Don't make me repeat my words. What fucking hell you are doing here?"

"Alpha I am here because of you" she made a sad face. "You don't know how much I beg the elders to let me come here. I came here for you. It has been so long and I was afraid that if I am late you will forget about me so-"

"Forget?" I laughed "your deeds are something that no one can forget you. You really don't have to worry about that. You have printed your name in my heart where even disgust couldn't be used to express" I hissed.

"You are still blaming me?" She almost yelled. Her eyes shed tears "it was not my intention. I only wanted to make you happy and we were also young. Why are you still stuck at that point? It has been years yet you still couldn't forget that incident?" She wiped her tears and said again "I know that mistake is huge but it expresses what we feel for each other. We can understand what we have for each other. Can't you understand that?"

"Looks like you are still living in your imagination huh?" I smirked "even after years you are still infatuated with your own built imagination?"

Her eyes widened "no it's not. You know it too. It's not infatuation, it's love. You know it from the start that I love you right? Why can't you see it? Just because you have a mate now?"

"You fucking have the gut to bring her in this conversation" I growled "what the hell did you say to her?"

Delaney straightened her expression "I have said what's true. Even though she is your mate she needed to know about us. If she could be little generous and try to understand our situation then she could definitely accept it"

"You can't say that" she shook her head "I know we were young at that time but now we are matured enough to take decision" suddenly she grabbed my arm "Hardwick please consider my feelings. You know I have loved you for such a long time and we already mated. You have to take me as your wife"

I shoved her hand away and growled angrily making her flinch "get your filthy hands away from me. I fucking hate the fact of being touched by others. And you should know that you have no right to call me by my name. It's Master for you" I glared at her. She swallowed hard as she looked at me scared.

I turned around and was about to walk when she suddenly shouted "why are you rejecting me? Because of that woman? What does she have that I don't? She is just a slut who knows how to use her face to seduce you. Mark my words one day she will leave you for another ma- '' before she could complete my hand, grabbed her neck and slammed her on the wall harshly.

"Your gut is really high to talk ill about my mate. You even dared to compare your filthy self with my mate? Since you wanted to know about her so much then let me satisfy you. She has a pure soul and pure heart which made me fall head over heels for her. Something that you don't have and something that you will never have. If you dared to insult my mate one more time I would wrong your neck then send you to meet the king of hell" I pressed her neck harder making her choke. She started to gado for air but I didn't leave her. She struggled in my grip trying to remove my hand from her neck. Her face started to pale then it started to become blue.

Gritting my teeth I threw her on the floor "you better refrain yourself from appearing in front of me or the consequences will too bad"

I turned around and let her. Fuck I need to bring my mate back. No matter what.
