Savannah's POV

"Hi mom, how are you?" I asked as I put the phone between my ear and shoulder.

"I am good, how are you my dear?"

"All fine mom. What about Tanea? I haven't heard from her for such a long time"

It's already been two months since I last met her in the crowning ceremony. After that I was quite busy myself and never got a chance to call her.

"She is fine but she is craving for weird things"

"What weird things?" I frowned. I put the dress down then hold the phone in my hand. I was only wearing a bathrobe and choosing a dress for myself.

"Did you forget she is pregnant? Hm....that girl" I heard mom sighed "last night she cried the whole night because she wanted to eat Porchetta in the middle of the night. Where are we going to find a fine piece of pork to make the dish so suddenly? Devak was so anxious when she kept crying"

"Oh god, is her craving going wild already?"

"It happens," mom chuckled. "It's a trace of pregnancy anyway. During this time the would-be mom craves for things that she never had before. And Tanea is no exception"

"It happens" I nodded then sighed. Devak must be feeling so nervous. That man is scared to death if anything happens to Tanea. And since she is about to become a new mom I guess Devak is going to live in pain till Tanea gives birth to the baby.

"Who's it mom?" I heard Tanea's voice in the background.

"Savannah"

"Oh god, I want to talk"

I chuckled when I heard her excitement. Before mom could reply I heard Tanea's voice on the other line "hey Sav''

"How are you my girl?" I grinned widely.

"Fantastic" she laughed "how are you?"

"Good" I grabbed the dress which was on the bed then removed my towel. I put the phone on speaker as I was wearing my dress.

"How's everything going in there?"

"Peaceful" I replied as I tied the knot of my dress on the waist.

"Why do you sound so dull?"

"Nothing" I sighed, grabbing the phone and turning off the loudspeaker.

"Come on Sav, I can hear your sad sigh from here"

I rolled my eyes "since when have you become omnipotent?"

"Haha, funny. Now tell me what happened to you?"

"It's about Hardwick"

"What happened? Did you two quarreled?"

"What are you thinking about?" I rolled my eyes "where did you get such an idea?"

"I just guessed. The way you sound I thought you two had argument"

"No, for your kind information we don't have any argument"

"Then what happened?"

"It's just He has been so busy these days. When he got back at night he looked exhausted. I wanted to do something for him. To make him happy"

"Oh so that's the problem" she laughed.

"What's so funny?" I frowned.

"You said you want to make him happy?"

"Yeah, so what?"

"Since you are so eager to make your mate happy then I have a way"

"What way?" Does she really have one?

"But it will depend on you darling. If you can do that then I must say your mate will be more than happy"

"Now, I am getting scared you know"

She laughed "oh come one. Don't be so cowardly. It's all about your mate isn't it. You have to take care of him too"

I rubbed my temple "what do you want to say? Let me hear about your idea first"

"Before I tell you, darling you need to know that this will make your mate super happy and even active so think about it twice"

"Yeah"

Hardwick was always so passionate when he was showing his love. But everytime it was always him giving me surprises and planning for dating. Where I just enjoyed his love and care. I should also give him some in return. I just want to make him happy.

"Fine, I will do it. Now say what is it?"

"Are you sure?"

"Then let's start with shopping" Tanea squealed loudly.

Avan's POV

"Do you think it will work?" I frowned looking at the file.

"That's all I got. They are too secretive so there's no major information leaked" Ben shook his head.

I threw the file on the floor "fuck it. What the hell do those bastards think?"

I couldn't control my rage. It has been a week since Bright Shine had a war with another pack. The war ended with some conditions at the end. Since our power and position were the same, it's hard to win over them and for them to win over us. At the end dad proposed a peace treaty to end it. But the condition they put in was higher than they deserved.

"I fucking won't agree to this point" I growled again. I asked Ben to try to find any weakness or loopholes in their past activities but those bastards were quite smart to hide it well.

"Master Alpha had already agreed to the conditions" Ben informed.

"Fuck" I cursed again. Dad just wanted this to end but how can I agree to the conditions?

"Master Alpha said it's better to agree to their condition because in return he is going to propose for another agreement"

I turned to look at him "what agreement"

"Since they want the valley land then we can ask them to give fighting weapons. It was a deal that Master Alpha wanted me to inform you"

"Weapons in return for land?" I frowned. Though we really don't need weapons to fight, keeping weapons will always give you advantages. Since this is what dad wants then let it be.

I nodded "fine, if that's what decided already"

"I will inform Master Alpha then" Ben nodded.

"Go ahead" he left immediately.

The past months are too difficult to handle. The problems are arising one after another then when it gets solved it takes something in return. I leaned back on the chair and my headache. When can I get some peace? The matter of Reese has ended with the death of my unborn child. After that day I never saw her again. It felt like she had disappeared. Though I knew I wanted her to stay away from me, what she did was quite unexpected. She didn't bother me nor showed herself infront of me again. Even her mother Salina didn't know about her. But it's fine with me. Because I have so many things to deal with and Resse was the last one I wanted to deal with.

My thoughts went towards someone who has purple eyes. Those beautiful orbs always haunted me in my dream and I couldn't forget no matter what I did. Only if she was here. I sighed. I should have kept her and never let her go. I was such a fool to let her leave that night. I should have caged her so that she could never run away from me. I should have.

There was a sudden knock on the door. Then one of my man walked in "Alpha there's someone who want meet you"

"Who's that?"

"I don't know. Looking at the person I don't think she is from our pack"

"Rogue?" I raised my eyebrows.

"No, she is here willingly"

I frowned "she?"

"Yes"

"Send her in" who it could be?

He left, then the door opened again. I looked at the figure walking in. She was wearing a hoodie so I couldn't see her face. Once she stood in front of me I asked.

"Who are you?"

"Does that matter, Alpha Avan?"

"I am asking you again, who are you?" I asked again.

She chuckled "I am someone who can help you achieve what you want. But I don't know if you are willing or not"

I frowned. Who is she? She said she can help me achieve my goal?

"You seem to know about me well"

"Of course. I know about you and also the person you want to get"

My expression changed suddenly and my eyes turned dark. How did she know about it?

"Who are you?"

"You don't have to doubt on my intention Alpha Avan. I only want to help you"

"What will you get in return?" There's no free meal in this world. Since she wanted to help me then of course she wants something in return too.

"Before I tell you that, do you promise to make a deal with Alpha Avan?"

"I will deal if the I find it beneficial"

"Oh, don't worry it will be beneficial for you in every way" she chuckled again.

Suddenly she removed her hoodie and my eyes widened as I saw her face. Isn't she?

"You don't have to be so shocked Alpha" she laughed and sat down on the chair "do you want to make a deal?"

"Are you taking me for a fool?" I asked her.

She laughed "how could I dare that? I am not here to deceive you. I am here just to make a deal with you"

"Since you are so sincere in making a deal with me then what's your price at the end?"

"We have the same goal, Alpha Avan. And that goal is Savannah" she leaned in smiling.

My jaw clenched "what do you want to do with her?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"I don't want to do anything to her. I can assure you of this. What I want is her"

"What's your deal?" I looked at her coldly.

"Oh finally you are on the right point, Alpha Avan. I am glad you are willing in this deal. Since you asked me I won't hide it from you. I know you want Savannah and I also want Savannah. Our goal is the same so I thought it would be better to work together isn't it?"

"I don't like puzzles. You better come to the point or you can just get out"

"You don't have to be so angry, Alpha Avan. What you want is Savannah to stay with you and what I want is Savannah to stay away from Dark Forest. So we can work together. It will help you get her and me to keep her away from the Dark Forest. I don't want to see her in the pack. So you can just keep her here" she gritted her teeth.

"Why are you hostile towards her? I never thought that the member of her own pack is plotting against her?" I raised an eyebrow.

"She is a two faced woman. Because of her my sister's life is ruined. How can I tolerate her in the pack when she is the reason behind our pain. Since you want her you can keep her to you. Just don't let her come in the Dark Forest again"

"You are so sure about your plan? If it get disclosed then the one who will be facing death is you"

"You don't have to worry about me. Just think of a plan to get her. The faster the better. I don't want to see her face in this life"

I observed her closely. She is a pretty girl and there's a slight finger mark on her neck. Though she was wearing a scarf to hide her neck, I could see it clearly. Who did that to her? Savannah? Fuck it. Since she is so eager to make this deal then I am in. This is such a golden opportunity and I will never let it slip from my hand. As soon as I get Savannah I am not letting her go ever. A sudden excitement rushed in my body.

"Since you are willing I will make a deal. What's in your mind?" I asked.

She looked at me and smiled "something that will make us get what we want"

Savannah's POV

I stared at the cloth spread on the bed and sighed. Is this what Tanea want me do. She forced me to buy it and now all the other stuff. How did she come up with such an idea? Though it seems good, I am still nervous.

"Do you think it will work? I mean don't you think it's too much?" I frowned.

Tanea rolled her eyes "you are such a dumb"

Currently we are video calling so that we can talk face to face. In the Afternoon I went shopping and Tanea helped me pick the stuff that I needed for tonight. In the end she forced me to buy lingerie which was too revealing.

"Look at me darling, the best way to help your mate relax is to seduce him. I guess it must be Hardwick who has been trying hard. Now it's your time. And that sexy lingerie will add fuel to the fire" she chuckled, making me blush.

"Shut up"

"Come on, don't be shy now. Since you already taken the initiative then you have to complete the task"

"I know you don't have to remind me every two minutes" I rolled my eyes.

Tanea chuckled "come on, come on. Start the decorations" she clapped her hand.

"You look more excited than me," I said as I pulled out the scented candles.

"Of course I am. This is the first time I am seeing you so eager to impress someone. How can't I be excited?"

"Yeah" I shook my head. I put the fresh flowers in the vase then placed the candles on table, on the side of the bed, each corner of the room and lastly in the middle of the room where small rounded glass table was kept. I used flower petals to decorate the candle. Tonight there will be no light but it will be all these scented candles. I have never tried to impress a man but I want to do it for him, my mate. I just want him to be happy.

"Wow, it will look really beautiful when you lit it up. And yeah don't forget the robe and your special dress" Tanea winked.

"Do you really need to speak about it so loudly?" I narrowed my eyes.

She laughed "don't worry there's no one to hear it. Besides, do you still remember what I told you? You can't forget that. That's the main point"

"Don't talk about it. I am still thinking"

"What are you thinking? You need to do that if you want to make him more happy"
