Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 49

The Cannibals squatted by the corpse of their mate, having a best of the rite. Some of them threw their fingers into the chest, ripping out the heart and gobbling up. One threw his face into the belly, and raised his face bathed in blood, intestines hanging down his mouth.

Drake watched one of them grab the cock of the corpse, while another cut the shaft off with his sharp pointy teeth. The two struggled with the meat, fighting on whom would eat it. It's reasonable to think that the cock was the most sumptuous part of the Cannibal's body.

A Cannibal dug his fingers into the socket of the corpse and plucked the eyes out. He threw the balls into his mouth and munched hungrily on them.

OH SHIT.

Even Damien couldn't take it anymore. He was feeling nauseous. Don't be surprised if I tell you that he forgot that Mira was standing beside him watching the same scene.

He looked at her, but it was too late. He could see her eyes closing, her eyes were weak and dark.

"Are you alright?"

He had scarcely asked the question when she slumped and fell backwards.

"Mira... Mira!!!"

He grabbed her before she could land on the blood-damp earth. He didn't even have to explain to the Cannibals why he had to leave. He scooped her into his arms and hurried out of the village.

He saw Laurette standing by the fence of the village. As much as she loved her sister, she couldn't join her in the rite. She was more fragile than Mira, though she had learnt to hide hers with a smooth and swift tongue.

"Meet me at the castle."

He hurried past her. When he was sure that he had lost her, he activated the jungle speed feature. In the blink of an eye, he had zoomed to the castle.

"These dummies are not home yet."

He was mad that the girls who had left since forever were yet to arrive at the castle. Only goodness knew what they were doing on the way.

He didn't see them on the way because he had taken a shortcut. The system had exposed him to some secret passages of the jungle. All thanks to the jungle wits skill.

He hurried into the castle and placed her on a comfortable place. He took a deep breath.

"Mira... Mira..."

He called twice but no response came from her. What was he thinking, that her unconscious mind would say, HEY CUTIE, I'M HERE...?

SHE MUST HAVE PASSED OUT FROM SHOCK.

WHAT SHOULD I DO, WHAT TO DO?

A familiar memory zoomed past his mind.

"Resus?"

He knelt by her and pressed his hand to her chest. He started slowly, his head tilting till his face hovered over hers and his lips met hers.

He didn't really feel anything. His mind was clouded by the concern of getting her to wake up. This wasn't the time to feed some sexual urge.

Suddenly she coughed into his mouth. Her eyes slowly opened. Her eyes opened to see his face in hers, his lips in hers. She jumped up and pushed him away. He fell on his back.

"What are you doing?"

She looked flustered, sitting up. Damien didn't stand up. He remained in the position he had just been forced to assume. Neither did he reply her. He just stared at her.

Suddenly, Laurette ran into the castle, calling,

"Mira... Mira... are you alright?"

"Laurette."

Laurette got to her and hugged her tightly.

"Oh God, I thought I lost you."

When Laurette had enough, she pulled away and turned to Damien,

"Thanks, for saving my sister."

Damien was actually surprised that Laurette wasn't blaming him. That was only natural of her to find a blame even when nobody sees it. It was quite strange that she was being appreciative. She must really care about Mira.

Mira stared at him. Damien chuckled and stood up.

"Get enough rest. We'll talk later."

He walked away towards his room. He entered and secured the room.

[Ping! Resolved the murder case in eleven and a half minutes. Unlocked the WITTY SAGE and gained three system gems.]

"Yea!!!! Fuck yes!!! System gems."

He jumped up, punching the air in joy.

"Now that I have these gems, life we get easier."

He sighed, dropping down on the foam board.

LET'S SEE IF THE GEM WILL BE USEFUL ONE WAY OR THE OTHER FOR CONVERTING THE TREASURE RESERVE INTO SOMETHING MOVEABLE. PREPARATIONS TO LEAVE MUST COMMENCE GRADUALLY.

He heard chatters and laughter coming from the living room.

THEY FINALLY ARRIVED. SLUGGARDS!

His mind got busy again.

I NEED TO GIVE THESE CANNIBALS A CIVILIZATION. I SHOULD START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. AS WELL AS TRAIN THE GIRLS TO BE --

A knock came on the door. He couldn't finish reminding himself of many things he had to do.

"Who's there?"

AYISHA.

He thought before getting the door.

"Hey."

He was disappointed. It wasn't Ayisha.

"Ey Mira. I thought you would be resting. You should. You need it. Not after the nasty scene."

"Like you didn't make me do it."

She joshed. Damien was mature enough to know what a joke looks like. He smiled.

"Wanna come in?"

He offered but she declined. She didn't let him think further.

"I want to appreciate and apologize. I'm sorry for pushing you away. I knew you weren't the type who takes advantage of girls in shitty situation."

Damien was glad that she said that. But he wished that she wouldn't be so sure about who he was, because himself was trying to draw the balance.

"The last thing I remembered was watching one of the Cannibals pluck out the ---"

She couldn't complete the words. He actually commended her for recalling the memory. Others would be in denial.

"It feels good to see that you're confronting it. That way the memory won't end up haunting you. You wouldn't have to find a fancy name for it... something like trauma."

She chuckled.

"Never heard you made a joke."

She admitted. Suddenly, they heard approaching footsteps. Mira was more at an advantage to see who was coming.

"I think Ayisha is here to see you."

She informed, before turning to leave, Damien called,

"Inform the girls that we'll be having a meeting after dinner."

She nodded then walked away. Ayisha got there point in time.

"Come in."

He offered and she stepped in.

"Thank you."

"I can't offer you a place to sit. I have been so busy that I didn't have time to make a sofa."

"I won't be staying long either."

She said. He nodded,

"I think that's a good thing--"

"I miss you."

She cut in. Damien wasn't only surprised but shocked to the core.

"Huh?"

His active eyes raced the face of Ayisha, seeking an answer. He gulped. She took two steps closer.

"I miss you, Damien."

NO, I'M NOT DREAMING.

Damien admitted, when she repeated those words. But he had no idea what was happening. Was it natural that his heart was thumping wildly?

"I know you have a lot of questions to ask."

She paused, then continued.

"You are probably wondering why I left you for the girls. Why I pretended not to know you anymore."

She sighed.

"I felt bad. When we crash-landed on this island, I was the only one with you. I had nothing to offer, I only ate and had sex. There was nothing I could offer. I felt like a pest, leeching off you. I felt guilty and decided to create a space. I needed to find a place for myself here and see where I belong. Find my true self and what I can offer."

Damien gulped again, pursing his lips.

"Did you find them yet? The place and your lost self?"

She smiled. He was acquainted with that smile.

"I'm not sure yet. I felt guilty. I wanted to let you know that I hold no grudge against you. I loved everything we shared and wouldn't mind if we continue. But I don't want to cling to you all the time. It's natural to have a self-respect right?"

"Can I kiss you?"

Damien lips moved. He didn't mean to ask those words. He only meant it to be his thoughts. But his tongue seemed very undisciplined. It had moved of his own accord and had put him in trouble?

She walked to him and held his face. She tiptoed and kissed him. He was hungry for her lips, but she was hungrier. She devoured his lips while he tried to keep up with the pace, drive and passion.

She was his first. His first sex. She deflowered him. He was a virgin before he got to the island. He cherished the sexual experience he shared with her.

And now, he realized that he had been living in a lie all along. A lie about what he thought of her. He seemed to understand why the system told him that he would never understand the girls.

She pushed him towards the foam board as she kissed him mercilessly. She helped him lie on the board. She removed her top and climbed on him. She grabbed his left hand and put it to her tit.

She slid her palm down his body and plucked out his boner. She shifted her panties and sat on it. She began to go gently on it, mild moans escaping her throat.

He wanted kiss, she wanted sex...

I thought she said she wouldn't be staying for long.
