Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 62

"Lugal!!"

The Cannibals bowed before him.

"Didn't I tell you not to come here unannounced anymore? Do you really want me to be mad at you?"

Damien's eyes lacked every ounce of sympathy. His face was tough and clouded by ire. The corner of his eyes dark from the influence of the anger pacing his face.

"I warned you, didn't I?"

He heard one of the five Cannibals glaring at another.

"What are you saying?"

Damien couldn't help but ask. He looked from one Cannibal to the other.

"You speak."

He called at the one who had made the complaint.

"Lugal!! I warned them never to trust that sly wolf!!! But they took me for a fool, saying that I dare to say otherwise when Lugal calls for us."

OH GOD, THAT CRAZY WOLF!!! WHY GO CALL THE CANNIBALS AFTER CALLING THE GIRLS? IS SHE DUMB OR WHAT?

"That doesn't matter anymore. Come with me."

He walked past them. He could feel the presence of the girls behind him. The Cannibals jumped on there feet and ran after him.

He stopped at the front of the compound gate. He turned to them, they bowed, dropping on their knees. They couldn't look him in the eyes. Yes, I know, it's a cliche.

"Do not come to this place anymore until I tell you otherwise. Is that clear."

"Yes, Lugal!!!!"

They chorused. He nodded. He wanted to walk away when something suddenly hit him.

"Now that you are here, I don't have to go myself."

"Say the words, we are at your service Lugal."

No doubt, it was safe to think that the Cannibals had practiced so many words they'd chorus before him. If that wasn't the case, then he had no idea what else to call it.

"Do you know what a lion is?"

He asked.

"The proud bastard."

"The bossy maniac of the jungle."

"The crazy retard who wants to own all."

"The selfish pycho."

"The fake king of the jungle."

Damien chuckled. He found it really funny that they took turns cussing a lion.

"I never knew that you lots have cusses in your vocabulary."

He admitted loudly. Damien's eyes strayed to the door of the castle. He could see the girls watching him. He had no idea what was going on in their minds. He did wish that there was a system feature or skill which would enable him to read the thoughts of the girls. By that, he would have less to worry about.

Not that their thoughts or actions really mattered or influenced his decision, but it has been said that no safety is risky. He probably wanted to live by that maxim.

He couldn't afford the distraction he had just enthroned on his thoughts. There were five grown men knelt before him who would do whatever he wanted. It would be inhumane to take an advantage of their loyalties.

If anyone would tell, he knew better. To have the innocent go through the hell had been through? It's a no no for him.

"Can you hunt one?"

He asked.

"We might lose two to three men, Lugal, but we shall give our lives for you."

WOAH, IS THIS HOW STRONG A LION IS?

Damien was really intrigued.

"Which means if you crave its meat so bad you can't even eat it?"

One of them called on top of his voice,

"We, the AFTDAT folks never feast on our types. We feast on what doesn't feed on blood."

WOAH. AFTDAT. IT'S STRANGE THAT I NEVER SPOKE TO THEM ABOUT THEIR ORIGIN.

Damien was really intrigued by this random study that he didn't pay for. What the jungle wits didn't do well to tell him.

"You mean, as a carnivorous specie you don't eat another carnivorous animal?"

"We have no idea what carirobous means. But if it means, eating what eats blood, no we don't."

Damien wanted to laugh at the wrong pronunciation of the key word but he refrained. He felt refreshed gaining a new information. It felt like he was flying in a private get alone, being sucked by ---

"We await your orders, Lugal."

Damien glared at the Cannibal for interrupting him. But then he realized he was being illogical. He nodded for no reason.

"Search for a limping lion. As soon as you find him, come back and tell him his hide."

"Right away, Lugal!!!"

They all chorused, and in the blink of an eye they had jumped over the wooden gate and out of sight, disappearing into the woods.

"Before the night falls."

He called on top of his voice at them. He could hear them echo in agreement. He smiled.

FOLKS OF AFTDAT. I SHOULD CALL THEM THE AFTDATIANS.

He laughed at himself.

"Does that even make sense? How dumb can I be?"

He took a deep breath.

I SHOULD REALLY ASK MORE ABOUT WHERE THEY CAME FROM AND HOW THEY ENDED UP HERE.

Then something new raced across his mind, knocking off the thought.

"That bitch Der. I should teach her a lesson for thinking that she could do whatever she wants."

He realized that the girls were still standing at her door of the castle.

"Okay, let's see what we can do."

He walked to them. They paved the way for him and he entered into the living room. He walked to seat on one of the stools.

"So, are you ready for tomorrow?"

He asked no one in precise, yet he was referring to all of them. They all knew what that meant, they gathered around.

"Bruh, I already forget."

"What's happening tomorrow?"

"Why didn't any of you tell me?"

Damien felt really insulted by their comments. Though they were talking amongst themselves, yet... What did they take him for?

He got up and walked towards the staircase. He didn't have the strength to remind some absentminded girls.

Suddenly, he heard them all laughing behind him. He turned slowly at them.

"We got him!!"

Evelyn slapped Mira's arm. It was a little painful that Mira had to return the favor.

AM I A JOKE TO THESE DUMBASSES?

Truthfully, the joke wasn't funny to him. He wasn't even prepared for it.

"Do you really think that we would forget."

Allison came on.

"For the past month on this island, we've done nothing but work and worry and run and fight."

Evelyn stole Mira's chance to continue,

"And now that we have a chance to celebrate, we would forget? Come on, Damien, what do you think girls love the most?"

"The poor boy. How do you want him to know? I bet he's never had a girlfriend."

Claire scorned. Damien wasn't mad at her. How could he be mad, she had just stated the truth.

Back in time, he could barely eat three square meal. How could he afford a relationship? Plus, he was always worried about his Grandpa's health.

GRANDPA.

His heart broke when he recalled. It felt like he should disappear home. He wished he could.

"You don't make a joke with something like that, Claire."

Tendzel scolded. Damien felt like he was hearing things. That would be the first time Tendzel would speak since they left that spot.

"Listen up!"

Damien called. He could see on their faces that they were surprised that he was indifferent to their insults.

Gone were those days when their words attacked him or got on his nerves. He knew that they had no chance against him now. What do you think? He was the host of a powerful system! Therefore he wouldn't take from the ladies, the only skill they had to defend themselves and feel alive; their sharp tongue and defensive words.

"Mira, I leave the planning of the celebration to you."

"Jada, come up with the numbers of days for celebration."

"Ayisha, come up with a little playlet we could act. Whether steamy or not."

"Allison, come up with games we could play."

"Laurette, you'll be the supervisor who would report to me."

"The rest, help them the way you could."

Obviously the girls were stunned by the division of labor. Not really because they were divided, but because of who would be doing what.

"You have till evening to finish up. Don't worry about tomorrow, it'll be about hunting like I promised. I hope you all have perfected crossbowing."

He observed their reactions. While some nodded confidently, some did reluctantly, while some heads moved involuntarily.

"How about you, what would you do?"

Claire attacked. He smiled.

"I'll give rewards to every winner of every event."

He looked away from her.

"And to start with... the winner of the crossbowing and hunting tomorrow would go surfing on the sea with me."

He watched their jaws dropped, astonishment getting the best of them.

"Until evening."

He reminded and walked away towards his room.

"Woah, surfing."

"Can he surf?"

"Where did he get a surfboard?"

"I want to be a part of it."

"Damien is so cool."

"Right. I wonder if there's anything he can't do."

"Right now, I can feel my pussy wet."

Damien could hear them chatter behind him. He turned to look at the last person who spoke.

Take a guess. Well, it wasn't Evelyn.
