Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 105

There were a million and one options that Damien had. There were so many thoughts tumbling over themselves in his mind. He could escape in so many ways. She didn't see his face yet. He could zoom away with the speed of the wind. Zoom away into the woods then back to the yacht.

Plus there were questions he wanted to ask too. What was she doing there at that point in time? It was way too early to be wandering around.

"It's you, Damien...?"

She repeated those words, more inquisitively now. Damien turned slowly to her till their eyes met.

Her jaws dropped. She gulped, clutching one of her hands to her chest. She looked bewildered, every of the hormones in her face was very active. She looked like she had seen a ghost.

"Am I seeing things or is this a dream."

The fact was right before her right yet she was finding it really hard to believe. Damien stared at her for a while, realizing that she hadn't chosen her thoughts and actions, he walked away from her.

She hurried to him and grabbed his arm, her palm was warm. It sent a familiar surge down his spines. He couldn't shove her hands away. He didn't plan to in the first place.

He didn't turn to her yet. He had his face to the front. He was glad that the yacht wasn't opposite him. She wouldn't be able to see the yacht from that place.

"Damien... it's you isn't it?"

She walked to stand at his front. She reached out her hand slowly and touched his face. She pressed it gently. She moved to his arms and felt them. She was trying to be make sure that she was in her right mind.

In all she did, Damien didn't for once look at her, he had his eyes glued to the roaring waves of the endless sea.

"You are real... aren't you?"

She suddenly dropped her arm. Damien couldn't help but look in her eyes at that. She dropped her gaze.

"If you are truly real, then what happened? Many believe that you are dead... what happened?"

Damien traced the corners of her face searching for something. But it seemed as though he didn't get what he wanted. His countenance fell, but he didn't make it quite obvious.

"Did you know what we went through trying to find you? Many believe that you died."

Her eyes bulged once again.

"Could it be. Are you a ghost? Please talk to me."

She grabbed his face in both her hands. She was desperate. He could tell by the sequence of breaths she let out.

"No, I can't touch a ghost."

She dropped her hand again. She turned her back to him, pacing. Obviously she was trying to arrive at a conclusion no matter how remote it seemed to her.

"If you aren't a ghost then where have you --"

When she turned back he was no longer there. Then she heard the raving of engine. She ran in the direction, before she got there, she saw a yacht zooming off.

"Damien... Damien..."

She screamed on top of her voice, running like a wild leopard after him, like she could catch up.

"Please wait. Damien, please. Please wait."

She pleaded and yelled but Damien had zoomed off. She stopped running and dropped her butts. She started to cry.

"I saw him. It was Damien. I'm sure he was."

Her eyes became flooded with tears in a matter of time. Suddenly, she stopped crying.

"If he is real and I could touch..."

Her eyes widened.

"Could that mean that Evelyn was right after all? Did he really appear to her and had sex with her?"

Her eyes squinted.

"Sex with her? Why did he have sex with her. He came back to only her to have sex? So, he misses only her?"

Then she realized that she was allowing jealousy get the best of her. Her sense of judgement was beginning to be clouded.

She jumped up on her feet.

"Does it mean that he is on the other island? My guess was right. Wow... my guess was right."

She smiled for no reason. It seemed as though the new realization came with a sort of hope.

"But then, how did he leave in the blink of an eye? Why did I turn away from him? Does he have some sort of ---"

She chuckled wryly. She didn't know what to believe.

"I'm not sure if I'm in right mind. Maybe I am dreaming. But I did touch him. I should had kissed him to be sure... but I was flustered and stunned."

"Was it really a dream?"

She pinched her cheek.

"Ouch, it hurts."

"If it's not a dream, then this must be how it felt for Evelyn also. But she looked happy."

"By any means, is he trying to reveal himself to us one after the other? Who is the next person?"

She puffed and turned away from the ocean. She hurried into the woods.

"I should let them know that he is alive."

She kept on running till she got to where she had seen Damien. Her eyes strayed and she found a bracelet.

"A brace... this belongs to him. It was real. It wasn't a dream."

It seemed like a bolt of joy had just hit her. She hurried away, fisting the bracelet.

"Should I had waited a little bit more. Should I had said something to her?"

Damien rumpled his hair as he stopped pacing in the cave.

"Perhaps I should had said something to her. She might think she is crazy. What was I supposed to do?"

He hit his forehead,

"Ah... fuck, I don't --"

He stayed quiet for a while, not sure of what next to say.

"But this dumb system. Why didn't it tell me that someone was coming. Ayisha of all people. She wouldn't let it go. Let it go easily like Evelyn. I'm sure of that."

He sighed. There was a sudden wave of nervousness which hit him, but he shook it off immediately.

A realization dawned on him, affecting his countenance.

"Perhaps the system has something else in mind. It told me about the yacht, used to tell me about the whereabouts of the girls, but now refused to tell me and allowed me to be caught?"

He pursed his lips.

"Perhaps hiding from them isn't necessary. Perhaps the system isn't supportive of me hiding from them."

"Being honest with myself, the INVISIBLE GAIT was a random attraction which had nothing to do with the system tasks originally."

He heaved another sigh, a heavy one this time.

"Let's see what she is up to."

He brought up the system window and began to scroll through till he got to the Nether TV pro. He almost tapped on it when he had a change of mind.

"Why should I worry about what she says to the rest. I should give them something to worry about. Plus, I don't think Ayisha is the open type. She would fancy the option of keeping it to herself. She would want to discover me herself. Yes, she's that selfish."

He dropped the system window.

"If they find me before my work on this island is done, lucky them. But if they don't, lucky me."

He dumped the thoughts and walked out of the cave to where he had hidden the yacht.

He climbed on and began to search through. Suddenly, he noticed some bags. Fancy bags. He was sure that those each bag would be worth at least a few million dollars.

"What are these?"

"Oh... those rich brats."

He had his fingers to the zipper and was going to pull it. But then he hesitated. A new discovery.

"Oh shit... Evelyn's bracelet. Where is it?"

He looked at his wrist, turning and twirling it as though the bracelet was some sort of pin.

The last time they had sex, he had stolen her bracelet from her. He had done that to help Evelyn realize that the sex they shared was real. But it didn't seem like Evelyn remembered?

"Where did I drop it?"

He thought for a while, but he wasn't enjoying the answers which his mind leased. He dumped it also. He opened the zipper.

"No shit... Bruh."

There were different clothes. Tux, turtle necks, designers, sneakers, Italian shoes which each pair was about half a million.

"No cap, this brats be rich as fuck."

He bit his lower lips.

"How interesting. I don't have to wear this shitty cloth anymore. Now, I have something else to wear. Not one, not two. But one... two..."

He counted.

"Ten clothes exchange. Crazy."

He was quite excited, but it was hard to tell why. Perhaps because he got a new pair of clothes or because he would be wearing designers for the first time in his entire life.

The costliest cloth he had worn in his entire life was cost few hundred dollars. And buying those seemed as though the world would end. But now what?

His attention fell on the other bag. He opened it. There were female wears. He began to sort them out.

"Wow..."

He paused for a while, looking away.

"Did they really come because of the girls? Did they come to search for them? They even came with clothes exchange for the girls."

He felt a heat of jealousy burn through his spines but then looked on the bright side.

"Perfect sizes. This will fit Evelyn, this Jada, this Allison..."

He began to sort the clothes. He didn't need to tell the girls to try the clothes on before knowing what would fit who. He already had their shapes etched in his mind.

"Now we can leave the island..."

He heard some sort of growling from behind him.

"Or not."

There were a giant polar bear flexing her jaws and fangs at him.

"Can I please have a day without trouble?"

He bickered, knowing that he would have to jump on his feet soon enough.

The bear charged.

"Oh shit."
