With no alternative, Travis could only tell her what he knew.

“You do research yourself. You understand. This sort of underground lab does radical experiments, testing scientists’ hypotheses right on live humans to see if they succeed. As for a lab with this much capital, naturally, they serve rich people. If the experiments don’t succeed, they couldn’t possibly use it on the wealthy.
