Darling, Don't Get Rid of Me novel Chapter 100

The Jones's house was in chaos now.

"Wesley, we only knew about the thing about Louisa just now. We thought what she had declared in her social media was all nonsense. Who knew that this would happen?"

Sandra listened to the shattering sound of things in the bedroom upstairs, her face full of guilt as she looked at Wesley.

But this time, the man no longer had the tolerance as usual. His tone was cold.

"Your daughter has offered to dissolve the engagement more than once. Since she is so unwilling, then let's cancel it."

Sandra didn't expect that the man would easily bring this up, so she panicked.

"Wesley, you have watched Louisa grow up since she was a kid. Of course, she cares about you, but she was blinded by those bastards outside. Give her some time and we will try to reason her."

Wesley glanced upstairs and said indifferently, "I don't care about who wins her heart. Anyway, she will never be Mrs. Smith."

After saying that, he was about to turn his head and leave. Sandra was shocked and wanted to step forward to stop him and then saw the butler standing at the door embarrassedly as if he was preventing anyone from coming in.

"Ms. Clark, this is not a place where you come in casually..."

"Get out of the way!" Harriet unceremoniously pushed the butler away and strode into the living room with her high heels.

Sandra's face turned gloomy immediately, "Harriet, how can you come in our house like that?"

Harriet got into the house in a hurry, ignoring Wesley's presence. She immediately retorted Sandra, "No one wants to come here. Where's Louisa? I have something to ask her."

In the locked bedroom upstairs, Louisa screamed again, "Let me out! I'm going to find Colin, let me out!"

Harriet understood what happened, "Mrs. Jones, locking up your daughter is not the solution. My brother is missing. I want to ask her something."

"What does your brother's disappearance have anything to do with us?" Sandra said, her face getting darker. Her eyes looked as if she wanted to tear Harriet to pieces, "What about you? You've known that Louisa and Wesley are engaged, but you're so shameless that you try to get involved. You're so—"

"Mrs. Jones, Harriet is my woman, you should behave yourself when you speak."

The man's voice was as indifferent as ever, which made Sandra's face turn pale.

"Wesley, what do you mean by this? What is your woman? Do you think this woman is more important than Louisa?"

Wesley didn't care what she said. "You need to be aware of the owner even if you want to hit the dog. Mrs. Jones, please bring Louisa out."

Harriet was almost choked by his words. Was she like a pet in his eyes?

Her husband was not at home now, and Wesley was so intimidating, so Sandra could only compromise.

Louisa was brought out by the servant with her red eyes. The moment she saw Harriet she started to yell hysterically again.

"Where did you hide Colin? I know you don't want to see me, but you shouldn't stop me from seeing Colin. We really love each other!"

Harriet sneered coldly, "True love? Who knows what you are trying to get from him? Is it his heart or his kidney?"

According to the power of the Jones, if they really wanted to do something to Harriet and Colin, Harriet was no match for them. The reason why Harriet said this was to deliberately provoke Louisa to see her reaction.

Louisa was taken aback and then shook her head decisively, "No, it's not like that. I am sincere to Colin. Apart from deliberately approaching him at school, I never play any tricks to him again."

Harriet suddenly had some mixed feelings.

If Louisa just wanted to have fun with Colin, Harriet would oppose their relationship blatantly. Even if she found Colin in the future, she would definitely not agree with them seeing each other. But now, Louisa's reaction was completely opposite to her expectation.

"You are not worthy of Colin at all. Sincerely in love? Humph, do you think he will accept a woman who takes away his sister's kidney?"

Harriet said cruelly.

Louisa was stunned. Suddenly her body weakened, and she fainted directly, making Sandra hug her quickly.

"Louisa, Louisa? What's the matter? Louisa?" She glared at Harriet. "If anything happened to Louisa, I will make you pay!"

Wesley stood in front of Harriet, his eyes cold.

Sandra still wanted to say something more. Seeing that the man was obviously protecting Harriet, she stopped furiously and hurried to send her daughter who suddenly passed out to the hospital.

Harriet didn't stay there any longer. Since she couldn't get any clues from Louisa, she had to try to contact the friends and classmates that her brother knew.

Harriet looked for him for three days but couldn't find anything. Colin seemed to have disappeared in the world.

Harriet didn't have a mood for filming either. She was taking a leave of absence for several days and kept searching for her brother.

Fortunately, because she was a pretty good person, everyone was willing to bear her absence since something unexpected happened, not to mention that there was Wesley behind her back, so no one dared to complain.

In just a few days, Harriet lost a lot of weight.

...

In the president's office of Pop Culture Group's building, Harriet came here early in the morning and said haggardly. "Wesley, are you busy recently in the company?"

The man seemed to be waiting for her to say this, "Do you want me to help find Colin?"

"Yes..." Harriet nodded hard.

She had tried her best, but her strength was limited. She couldn't find any trace of Colin at all. She didn't want to ask Wesley for help, but she had to bow her head in reality.

"Okay." Wesley agreed with her directly. "But, what is your reward?"

Harriet wasn't surprised by what he said. She knew Wesley never made a nonprofit business.

"You can tell me whatever you want as long as you can find anything about Colin."

Wesley raised his head. The woman's answer satisfied him.

In fact, in the past two days, he was also making people search for Colin secretly. There should be news today, otherwise, he would need to evaluate Jack's work efficiency.

As he was thinking about it, Jack knocked on the door and came in as he allowed. After handing him a document, he gave Harriet a seemingly inadvertent look.

Harriet sharply caught the light sympathy in his eyes.

"President, this is what you want." As he said, he whispered to Wesley, which made Harriet anxious.

"Wesley, do you already have news about Colin?" Harriet asked eagerly. She wouldn't believe Wesley didn't help in advance. He was so cautious that he would investigate the situation even if it had nothing to do with him.

Wesley frowned slightly, looking at Harriet's anxious face and suddenly feeling sorry for her.

It would be too cruel if he told her now.

"Wesley, talk to me." Harriet stepped forward regardlessly and grabbed the man's arm anxiously, "I know you must have some news, right? Please tell me, I will agree to whatever conditions you make!"

For a moment, Wesley even became a little hostile to Colin. No one had ever made Harriet panic like this. Even if they were relatives, he still felt a little uncomfortable.

"The taxi Colin was in fell off a cliff." The man calmed told her.

Harriet froze in a daze. Her mind went blank for a moment. It took her several seconds to subconsciously refuse to receive this cruel message.

"What, what did you say?" She finally came to her senses a little bit and shook her head slowly, "Stop kidding me, how could Colin..."

Jack lowered his head and added, “Due to the geographical location, the wreckage of the car and people cannot be brought out from the cliff for now. According to the lost property scan, it is indeed Mr. Clark’s belongings.”

The cruel description was clear. Harriet kept shaking her head, obviously on the verge of a breakdown.

"That's impossible, no, Colin will not die, you are talking nonsense. You are lying to me. I don't believe you... I don't believe it!"

With the last word, Harriet suddenly fell straight down. Fortunately, Wesley was beside her, holding her in his arms immediately.

Looking at the haggard and pale face of Harriet, Wesley seemed to be pierced with a needle in his heart at that moment.

"Cancel the meeting today."

Wesley said to Jack, carried the woman in his arms, and left the office directly. Jack immediately informed the door to prepare a car.
