Darling, Don't Get Rid of Me novel Chapter 107

As soon as Harriet nodded her head in response, she heard Wesley's ice-like command, "Come out."

She knew that she probably wouldn't be able to escape this disaster today, and it just so happened that she also had questions she wanted to ask, so she obediently left the crew.

Looking at the woman following Wesley to the car, Keith clenched his fists.

This time, he felt empty again.

Back at Wesley's private villa, Harriet familiarly changed her shoes when she was shackled by a man’s strong tug.

"Is Mr Smith in such a hurry?" Harriet glanced.

Wesley's face was dark, "You're very disobedient."

"Don't be so fierce." Harriet grinned, "I'm just trying out for the feel of the role, I'll never do it again if you don't agree in the future."

"Are you sure?" There was great dissatisfaction in the man's eyes.

Harriet smiled proudly, "Of course, if I don't behave, isn't Mr Smith familiar with many ways to teach me a lesson?"

The woman in front of him was clearly grinning cheerfully. However, he seemed to be somehow unhappy.

"Wait for me to take a shower, okay?" Harriet requested.

Wesley let go of her.

Half an hour later, the woman returned to the bedroom, Wesley had already showered and was flipping through the weekly financial magazine on the bed.

"Thank you for your righteous help today. Otherwise, I wouldn't know how I would have been treated by Camille." Harriet, wearing a thin bathrobe, stepped forward, "And thank you for letting the Jones family keep that child."

After saying that, she slowly unwrapped her bathrobe.

"Mr Smith can let me repay him with any ways he wants tonight, I'll do my best to satisfy."

The haze in Wesley’s eyes intensified bit by bit, he unceremoniously pulled the woman over and pressed her down neatly beneath him without taking any next steps, "Is this what you call repaying?"

"Yeah, isn't Mr Smith satisfied?" Harriet blinked innocently, "I even prepared this set on purpose, isn't it qualified enough?"

Wesley sneered, "How much do you think you're worth, using yourself as payment?"

Harriet's face turned white, but it was not apparent under the soft light.

"That's right, I forgot that Mr Smith should have lost interest long ago, so what do you want in return? I don't seem to have anything else to offer you besides that, do I?"

The man stared at her, intently, "Harriet, put away that enigmatic tone of yours."

"Enigmatic? Mr Smith, you've wronged people too much." Harriet looked incredibly hurt, "Didn't you tell me not to disobey you? I'm so obedient but you're still picking on me. The truth is that you're tired of me, aren't you?"

As soon as the words finished, Harriet suddenly felt a pain on her lips and a taste of blood slowly spread.

"Wesley, you...!" She covered her lips and stared at him in pain.

The man narrowed his eyes, "Can't continue to pretend?"

Harriet finally removed her mask in disguise, her tone turning incomparably cold for a moment, "Neither this nor that is satisfying, so may I ask what Mr Smith really wants? We don't usually do anything meaningful other than that, do we?"

Not knowing which sentence triggered the man's laughter, but Wesley grinned slightly, clear and vividly.

"So, we have to do more meaningful things in the future."

Harriet was blinded by the man's momentary smile, subconsciously nodding her head, then suddenly came back to her senses, confused and frowning: "Wesley, what exactly are you trying to say?"

She always felt that this man was becoming more and more abnormal, sometimes he was so cruel that he suffocated her. But sometimes, she unconsciously wanted to get closer to him just because of the little bit of gentleness that he showed.

Wesley turned over and laid beside her, not saying a word.

This time it was Harriet who was a bit unable to hold back, she deliberated before speaking, "Why exactly... why would you help me keep Louisa's child?"

Leaving her younger brother's child was impossible for him to do, but he still liked Louisa, so he couldn't do it.

Wesley raised his eyebrows, there was a hint of amusement in his eyes, "Who do you think it's for."

Harriet frowned deeply, probably cracking her head to think.

"There's no way... it's for me, right?" She spoke unconfidently.

Wesley's eyes flickered and didn't answer directly, but said, "It's late, go to sleep."

Harriet was perplexed.

Wesley didn't punish but let her go so easily? And that reaction of his, does that mean he denied?

Until the middle of the night, Harriet still tossed and turned, thinking about this problem. She was finally warned by Wesley not to move before she fell asleep in a daze.

For several days, the two of them spent time together in this weird but peaceful mode, but Harriet knew that deep in her heart, both she and Wesley wouldn't always be so peaceful.

Occasionally, when she saw Camille on cinema city, her ears would always ring with the warnings that the other party had said. Besides, when she thought of Aya's horrible ending, her heart would always be instantly shocked. She would even uncontrollably think about whether she would become like that if she offended Wesley in the future, or if she would be abandoned by him.

But even though she was full of worries, she didn't give up on finding her younger brother, only this time, she did not ask for Wesley's help again.

"Ugh-"

In cinema city Hotel, Molly sighed in discomfort and threw her phone on the bed, looking like she had lost hope in life.

Harriet was completing her make-up in the dressing room when she saw her agent being lost in thoughts, Lost your love? How many times have you sighed today?"

Molly pouted, "I don't even have a boyfriend, how can I be in a relationship? I'm worried about you, your public fame has not been good lately, I'm afraid that if it keeps going on like this, your reputation might be terribly framed on the internet."

Although the previous damaging scandal was forcibly removed by the word "Joy", the impact cannot be wiped off completely. Even if Harriet tried to blog, the comments would be sarcastic just to chase her out of the entertainment industry. Thinking of this kept her on tenterhooks.

Harriet continued to remain in a calm tone,” Let them do what they want, which famous celebrity doesn’t experience being framed on the internet? Believing in the laws of the entertainment industry, being framed by the entire internet proves that something greater is coming soon."

"Harriet, you really have a strong mentality."

Harriet raised her lips, "That's right, without a strong heart, how can you stay in this industry?"

Most importantly, how to be strong enough to survive Wesley’s cruel treatment?

"Harriet, how are you and Mr Smith doing these days? Reunited?" Molly turned her eyes to gossiped.

Harriet smiled, "Sort of, you're pretty optimistic about him."

"Of course." Molly nodded affirmatively, "Although he's not very nice and quite fierce at times, I can tell that's because he cares too much about you. That’s why he can't control his anger."

"Yeah? According to you, he is quite in love with me, isn't he?" Harriet teased.

Molly frowned, and said, "Isn't it? I heard that he carried you to the hospital last time you fainted in the bathroom, and he asked Jack to prepare meals for you every day. As far as I know, Jack is his best special assistant, right? He's had his most trusted pairs of hands to come to take care of you, your status to him is obviously different."

If Jack hadn't seen many of Wesley's doings, Harriet would have thought that Wesley was so attentive to her after hearing the agent's analysis.
