Viola pulled her hand back and looked at the three one by one, finally focusing on Amity's tear-stained face.

That was what Amity’s plan.

Viola lifted her eyelids and raised the corners of her mouth. “You scare me. Why are you suddenly good to me? Are you going to let Janet hold back the anger or honor me, the thorn in your eyes?”

Amity's lip shivered, and she did not know what to say, seeing that Viola was straightforward.

Janet got up, came to the sofa, lowered her head to Viola pitifully, “Sister, don't put the words so harsh. Mom and Dad are old and they don’t want you to live alone outside, with no one to take care of you. It was my fault that I did harm to you, can you forgive me?”

Janet’s attitude surprised Viola.

Like Eric? That was hundreds of years ago.

Viola almost laughed out, why should she like a scum? But then a plan came to her mind.

Viola slightly sighed, like a dissatisfied woman, saying, “I like Eric, so I am not happy. Eric's family is so rich, and he loves you so much. And you have been the apple of your parents' eye since childhood. All I have done is out of jealousy. You are right, I can’t be so extreme.”

Janet said with confidence, “What request? As long as we are good again, I will agree to any of your request!”

“Will you let Eric accompany me for one night?” Viola looked at Janet with expectation like she had grasped the life-saving straw.

Janet was stunned on the spot, Myles and Amity looked at each other, confused.

Amity said awkwardly, “Eric and Janet are engaged. I don’t think it is appropriate.”
