Ex-husband, Please Respect Yourself novel Chapter 34

Cathy wanted to eat out with Matt, but half-way, her mother called and asked her when she would return at night. When she learned that Matt and his daughter were there, she immediately asked her to take them home happily.

Mother’s thoughts, of course, could be seen by Cathy. She wanted to refuse. But she sat in the car. It was not convenient enough to say, so she could only take both of them home.

Back home, mother had just returned from buying vegetables and had not started to cook them. Matt did not say anything and went to the kitchen to help.

Cathy stood awkwardly in the living room, and she touched his forehead speechlessly.

A pregnant woman was probably abandoned, so she had better stay here. After all, she promised him to think about it, but for so long, she did not even get any results herself.

She could not imagine what it would be like to fall in love or even marry Matt.

Just as she was thinking, Mila pulled her clothes.

Cathy, startled, turned her head to look at her and gently asked, "What do you want, Mila?"

She blinked and looked at her with big eyes, then leaned her lips and pointed to the TV.

Cathy smiled and crooked her head. "You want to see cartoons, don't you?"

When the little girl nodded, she had picked up the remote control and turned on the TV. Then she put her in her arms. "Aunt will watch with you."

Since she could not think of the result, let her see the cartoon to clam down.

When Matt came out from the kitchen, he saw two people on sofa of the living. The big one and the small one, snuggled together, watching TV with the same expression. He paused for a moment and watched Cathy with deep eyes and his heart burst with warmth.

When all the dishes were put on the table, they watched the TV carefully and attentively.

Cathy's mother shook her head and smiled. She just wanted to shout and Matt laugh and said," It would frighten them. Let me go and call them."
