Expert Down The Mountain Chapter 78

Yeager’s gaze turned cold, and he was extremely displeased. Meanwhile, Sadie gave the order by saying, “Yeager, please kick Mr. Irvin out of the building!” Sadie was just as pleased with Chandler’s current situation as how arrogant he was during the meeting earlier. “Yes, Ms. Wolfenden!” Another security guard joined Yeager upon saying that, and they dragged Chandler out of the room. “How dare you do this to me!? You b*st*rds!”

Chandler shouted with all his might, but no one paid any attention to him.

Daryl initially wanted to snatch the contract as well, but he figured that it would be best for him to save himself some grace after witnessing Chandler’s outcome. The boardroom quieted down substantially. Sadie took a glance at Kayson, her eyebrows furrowed, and her gaze was slightly peculiar. She found the incident that transpired today to be rather magical.

Albert’s appearance turned the tables for them completely! Sadie looked toward Trevor and the others and sneered after seeing their dejected expressions. She said, “Please leave Wolfenden Corp. now. We’re going to go over the share-distribution details with Mr. Carlson.” Trevor was shaking in anger, his eyes bloodshot. He would have never pulled out of the company if he were to know that Albert would be investing in Wolfenden Corp.

‘Sadie! Liam!’ ‘It must be them who schemed against me!’ Trevor suppressed the regret and resentment in his heart. He composed himself and said to the people around him, “They’ve shown us the door. Let’s go then.”. Kayson glanced at Miles and said nonchalantly, “Mr. Lawson, what a waste that you’ve been kicked out of the company before our bet has ended.” Miles’ expression was very unpleasant, and he said in an embarrassed, annoyed tone, “This is not over, boy! Just wait and see!” Upon saying that, he left the boardroom instantly with a long face. Daryl stayed behind. He was all smiles when he looked toward Liam and said shyly, “Mr. Wolfenden… We’ve been close friends for many years.” At this point, he chose to play the friend card. However, how could Liam possibly fall for his friend card? He had already betrayed him.

“That’s not true, Mr. Dunn. We’re only acquaintances and not old friends.” Liam said nonchalantly, “Please leave, Mr. Dunn. We’re about to engage in a classified discussion.” Daryl’s expression changed drastically, and he was slightly displeased when he said, “Liam, are you determined to be so uncompromising in this matter? “Miles is holding Westcity’s Plot No. 8, and it’s going to be an extraordinary project!” Sadie said calmly, “Since you value them so much, why haven’t you gone after them already, Uncle Daryl?” ‘Still going on and on about Westcity’s Plot No. 8, huh? It seems that the Lawsons are still unaware that Uncle Jason is already on our side after sharing a meal.’ Daryl was furious. He took a glance at the pile of contracts placed before Kayson unwillingly and left the boardroom in anger. Ben, Leo, and the others were overwhelmed with emotions at this very moment. They felt like they were on an emotional roller coaster.

They had been under the assumption that the company was doomed a moment ago, yet the company was resurrected in the next moment. They felt so emotional in their hearts as they looked at Albert because they knew he would make a superb backer! Liam said, “Please take a seat, Mr. Carlson! These are our company’s shareholders, Ben Oxley, Leo Hill…”

Albert took a seat and greeted Ben and the others smilingly. Meanwhile, Sadie looked toward Kayson and said, “What are you doing here? Return to your department now!” “Ah.” Kayson nodded, turned around, and left. “Who’s the person who just walked out of here?”

After receiving Michael’s call, Albert immediately made his way to Wolfenden Corp.. Besides resolving Wolfenden Corp.’s crisis, Michael had also given him another mission. The mission was for him to find out Kayson’s role in the Wolfenden family!
