In the car heading back to the city, Saul looked at Elaina, who had her eyes closed, and asked in a low voice,

“Are you alright?”

“Yes, I’m fine,” Elaina replied.

“Thank you.” Elaina came back to her senses and thanked Saul.

However, Saul smiled and shook his head. “No need to thank me. After all, I haven’t done anything yet.”

“It’s a lot to come and save me.” Elaina never got bothered by this sort of thing. But she must repay Saul.

When she thought of that man, Elaina’s face darkened.

Marie was Jalen’s woman. So it was no different than Jalen doing this to her.

“Shall I send you back to Kemp Apartment?” Saul asked. He could sense that Elaina was not in a good mood.
