Flash Marriage: Slow Down Mister novel Chapter 379

Hearing this, Horace's Eyes were filled with pain, "I did not trust her back then, why would I still be worthy of her now?"

If he had believed Clara, how could all this happen? How could they not have children? Having committed such an unforgivable crime, he could not even forgive himself, so how dare he ask Clara to come back to him?

Hearing the words Russell felt anger in his heart, how could his grandson feel this way!

"How can you think that? A man must face up to his mistakes. It's because you realized you were wrong that you have to go back to Clara and spend the rest of your life making it up to her, to make up for your mistake."

Is that so? Hearing Russell said this, Horace was a little unsure; could he really go after Clara again? Would she still like him?

Seeing the confusion in Horace's eyes, Russell was a little upset. Both of them have suffered a lot emotionally, especially Clara.

Clara lost her child because of their misunderstanding, and he wonder if she would ever forgive Horace?

Russell continued, "Horace, after all these years, I know you can't forget Clara. If you really want her in this life, then don't think about those things before, look ahead, otherwise, it will only delay the two of you."

"You should listen to Grandpa. Go apologize to her properly and get her back. It's been so many years, and she hasn't gotten married again. From what I can tell, she still has you in her heart."

With Russell's words running through his mind, Horace had an epiphany. Yeah, well, what's the point of thinking about it? Would Clara ever forgive him, or would he have to work hard to find out?

Even if she didn't care about him anymore, he still wanted to do his best to make it up to her; he didn't want to have regret in his life.

Horace's heart grew hopeful when he thought of the look in her eyes when he had explained to Clara on the cruise ship that he wanted her to be with him again. Maybe Grandpa was right and Clara still cared about him.

After clearing his head, Horace no longer hesitated, his mind was in a chaotic state, but now much clearer. To see Clara, the only thing on his mind right now, was that he wanted to see Clara right away.

"Grandpa, I know, I'm going to find her right now," Horace said and hurried out of the office without even waiting for Russell to answer.

Knowing his eagerness, Russell didn't mind. His grandson really cared about Clara; he hoped that girl could forgive him.

Outside the company, Horace raced to Clara's desk in GLAM.

Once inside GLAM, Horace saw a familiar face. He remembered her name as Sarah, right? He'd heard Clara mention her before, and they'd probably get along just fine.

"Hello, Where's Clara, please?" Horace asked anxiously, pulling Sarah along.

Sarah, of course, was no stranger to Horace. She was stunned the moment she looked up at him. Why was he in Glam? But her body reflexively reached out and pointed in the direction of Clara's office.

"Thank you," said Horace, and he hurried to Clara's office.

It wasn't until Horace was gone that Sarah realized what had happened. It was Horace! The thought of Horace abandoning Clara five years ago filled her eyes with anger and regret.

Why tell a scumbag like him where Clara is when she should have kicked him out? It's his entire fault for showing up so suddenly.

Meanwhile, the rest of GLAM's staff saw Horace and exploded.

"Am I seeing this right? That's Horace Kirkland, isn't it?"

"What does he want with Clara now? They're divorced, aren't they?"

"I don't think we're getting married again."

"Isn't it said that Horace has been keeping a woman at home for the last five years? What's going on?"

"Do you think Clara still likes him? They won't fight in the office later, right?"

"Clara doesn't have a boyfriend right now, Horace isn't getting married again, and there's no telling if they'll ever get back together."

"How do you know Clara doesn't have a boyfriend?"

"Nonsense. A woman in love smells like love. Have you ever smelled that from Clara?"

This made the staff confused, the smell of love, what is that?

Standing at Clara's office door, Horace knocked eagerly. He heard some of the things that were said behind him, but he was too lazy to care. Now he just wanted to see Clara as soon as possible, hoping that she would forgive him.

"Clara!" Horace shouted as the door opened, only to be greeted by Logan. Logan obviously didn't expect to see Horace when he opened the door.

"What are you doing here?" Logan asked

"I'm here for her. I want to see her." Horace stood in the doorway, his eyes fixed on Logan.

"Clara doesn't want to..." Logan didn't want Clara to see him again because Horace had hurt his sister so badly that she couldn't get over it for so many years.

But before he could finish, he was interrupted by Clara's voice coming from inside.

"Logan, let him in."

Clara had already said so, and Logan couldn't stop her, so he let Horace into the office, his eyes wide with alarm.

He would never let Horace get away with hurting Clara again!

Unlike Logan's defenses, Clara wasn't surprised. She knew Horace would come for her. After putting Sean in jail, there's no reason he shouldn't come.

Walking up to Clara, Horace finally saw the face he's been dreaming of. Dressed in a black suit, she looked a lot more powerful than before, a little sharper than before.

"Logan, you can go out first, I have something to say to him," Clara said to Logan with a smile, without looking at Horace.

"Clara..." Logan hesitated.

Knowing that Logan was worried about her, Clara gave him a reassuring look. "It's all right," she said.

Seeing Clara insist, Logan finally turned and left, leaving a message: "Call me if you need anything. I'll be downstairs."

When there were only two people left in the office, Clara looked up at Horace with coldness in her eyes. "What are you doing here?"
