Dharani POV

For the next thirty minutes, Akash greeted and introduced me to almost everyone who were present at the function. The next hour consisted of a wonderful dinner. I noticed Sanaya giving me disgusting looks and sometimes she smirked at me but I ignored her completely. Then we continued talking to Akash business partners when suddenly one waiter spilled a drink on my dress.

"Sorry" waiter said nervously.

"It's okay" I replied softly.

"Are you blind? Can't you see, where you are going?" Akash shouted at him angrily.

"Akash relax, its just an accident." I turned to the waiter and said "Now you can go and please serve carefully next time." The waiter nodded his head and went away. I sighed.

'Now, I have to change my dress' I thought.

"Akash, I'm going to change my dress " I said.

"Ok, come let's go to changing room ", he said.

But suddenly, Mr.Knight come and started talking with Akash. I told him, that I myself will go to the changing room. Akash nodded his head and signalled his bodyguards to follow me. Then same waiter came and served a drink to Akash and Mr.Knight.

Then I went to the changing room. Luckily, I had a spare dress in my bag. I opened my bag and took out the designer party wear, yellow with black border colour saree. But before wearing the saree, I carefully removed the chain and put the chain in drawer. Then I draped the saree. After I changed my dress, I opened the drawer and put the chain back in my neck safely.

'You all might be thinking why I put the chain in drawer? Because this chain has.....' Before I answer your question, I got interrupted a knock in room door. I went to open the door and saw Ritika standing there.

"Dharani is everything alright? Why did you change your dress?" Ritika asked while looking at me.

" No, nothing. The waiter accidentally spilled the drink on my dress" I said to her.

"Oh" she said and nodded her head.

"Ok Dharani I have to go now. I'm having an important meeting now, see you later " she said and hugged me.

"Thanks a lot for your help Ritika. Without you, I couldn't have got the confidence. You are a great person and amazing friend" I said to her sincerely.

"Hey don't be silly. We are friends naa? Don't thank me. Come let's take some selfies" Ritika said and we clicked some selfies.

"Ok Dharani, I have to go now and please inform Akash that I'm leaving because I didn't find him in the party hall "She said.

"What? You didn't find him? But he was talking to Mr.Knight in the party hall when I left him. Where did he go suddenly?" I said. Then Ritika's phone starting ringing.

"Oh god office call. It's urgent, I have to go now, bye Dharani. See you later" Ritika said hurriedly left the room.

Then I too went to the party hall with my five bodyguards following me behind. Because of Sanaya, my husband increased my bodyguards. I sighed and looked around for searching Akash, but I didn't find him. I found Mr.Knight talking to his family but Akash is nowhere in my sight.

Then I called on Akash phone. But he was not picking up the call.

I went to Mr.Knight and asked him "Excuse me, where is Akash sir?"

"Some waiter came and told Mr.Akash, that you asked him to come to your room urgently. So he went immediately.", Mr. Knight replied shocking me.

'Where is my Akash? I didn't call him, then who?' Only one thing stroke my mind 'Sanaya'. Then I searched her but I can't find her. She is also missing in the party.

I started making my way towards the hotel room when Aman's voice stopped me.

"Mam, some investors want to meet, Akash sir" Aman told me.

"I'm also searching your sir, Aman" I told him.

"But mam, I saw sir going upstairs. I saw you taking him to the upstairs room", Aman said clearing my doubt. So that Sanaya took my husband to the upstairs room.

How dare she?

"Aman that's not me, please we have to find your Akash sir soon" I said to him desperately. Aman nodded his head and asked the bodyguards to search in all the rooms.

I also reached in the other hotel rooms upstairs. My heart cried and I prayed silently 'Please save my Akash from that evil Sanaya'

'God! Please help me find my husband!'

Then I called Akash phone once again but he was not picking up the call. I searched in all rooms one by one but my husband wasn't there. Suddenly, I heard Sanaya's voice coming from the side room. I took all my courage and went to that room door.

"I can give you so much more than she ever can give you. Akash, please accept me" I heard Sanaya's voice. My heart cracked at hearing her words.

But why didn't Akash say anything to her?

"Today I'm going to making you mine, then we will live happily" I heard Sanaya say once again.

Enough is enough. She exceeded her limits. I can't hear anything more. I pulled myself together barged into the room. I saw Akash lying on bed and Sanaya was on top of him. Then I noticed Akash is unconscious, his eyes were closed. I think she spiked his drink.

At that moment, I wanted nothing more than to slap the hell out of her.

"What are you doing here maid?" Sanaya asked me.

The nerve of that b****!

The b**** thought she could take my husband away from me but she was not aware of the power of a married woman. The power of sindoor.

"How dare you Sanaya? Get away from my husband right now " I roared at her as she flinched at my tone because I never raised my voice at anyone in my lifetime.

"No, today I'm going to make him mine. Do whatever you want to do, you little maid" she said and tried to kiss my husband.

I looked at her in anger. I just couldn't think of anything. I went to that b**** grabbed her by her hair and dragged her away my husband. Without thinking twice, I raised my arm and slapped Sanaya right across her face. She looked at me with shock.

"How dare you slap me, you wh***? I will not let you ruin my life. I want Akash and I will take what is mine" Sanaya shrieked and tried to pull my hair.

I held her hand and slapped her hard across her face once again. This b**** had been ruining my life since my childhood. I never said anything to her before, because I had no one in my life then, but today I have my husband and I won't let this b**** take my husband away from me. He is very precious to me and I love him so much. I am not going to tolerate her torture and insult anymore.

"I will snatch him away from you and you can't do anything", Sanaya yelled word after word that flowed from her lips. It angered me more second by second. My patience was running out and my temper was flaring. Rage boiled through my blood all over my body. I barely had a chance to think of my actions. The only thought running through my head was getting her to shut up. I pursed my lips and raised my hand back.

I threw my hand forward as hard as I could, once again slapping it across her face. The sound of her skin contacting with my skin echoed off the walls. Vibrations of pain started in my palm and spread all the way to my finger tips. My palm was bright red, the same red mark that matched the one on her face. She stared at me with her eyes wide as her hand slowly made it to her fire red cheek.

"He is mine, you understand Sanaya? You always used to snatch everything from me since my childhood. But not now, I can deal with anything but I will never let you steal my husband. He is mine, b****!" Raising my hand once again, I slapped Sanaya for the fourth time. That b**** can't even stand. She lost her balance and fell on the ground because of my forceful slap.

Then suddenly my bodyguards entered our room. I asked them to throw her out of the room. They immediately obliged and dragged her all the way to the door and took her out of my sight. I walked towards Akash and tried to wake up him.

"Akash open your eyes " I said and patted his cheek. Then I took water from the bottle and splashed it on his face. He jerked and got up from bed.

"Angel what ha...happened" he slurred and collapsed on me. I held him and cried.

"Angel pl....ease don't c..cry " he said and tried to wipe my tears in a clumsy way. He can't even keep his balance.

"You and Sanaya were in the same room " I said crying. Because of me, Akash is facing this much problem. He looked at me with stunned eyes.

He held my hand " Angel... believe me... I didn't kn...ow anything", before he said anything I put my finger on his lips and stopped him.

"Shhh I know you didn't do anything. I trust you" I said to him sincerely. Suddenly Aman entered our room.

"Mam, that model Sanaya is creating a big scene in the Party hall. She is accusing Akash sir, that he tried to molest her. Please come downstairs, mam" Aman said panicking.

I just can't believe what I was hearing.

How dare she accuse my husband of molestation?

"That lying b****" I snarled and stood up. Akash also tried to stand up but he lost his balance and fell on the bed again. Aman supported Akash and we went downstairs to the party.
