Bright sunlight hit my face and I slowly opened my eyes. I stretched my arms to my side and when I found nothing, I opened my eyes and looked around. Akash was missing. I looked at the clock to see it's already eight in the morning.

Thank god! Yesterday Akash forgave me.

Mission Sorry accomplished.

But where is he?

Walking to the bathroom, I did my business by taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth. Hurriedly I draped a saree and went to the kitchen to find Akash preparing breakfast. Then he noticed me.

"Good Morning Angel" he greeted smiling at me.

"Good morning Akash. Why are you making breakfast? Why didn't you wake me up? I will prepare breakfast, you move" I said and pulled him but he didn't even move an inch.

Uff! Strong man!

"Angel, I'm almost done with the breakfast. You come and sit." He made me sit on the dinning table. After we finished eating breakfast, we got ready and headed to the hospital. In the whole ride, I was very anxious. I hope doctor will say positive news. A car screeching sound made me break my thoughts. Akash parked the car and we went to Sanjana's cabin.

Sanjana greeted us and we told her our problem showing the scan reports. She watched the scan reports and read it very carefully. She asked us to wait till she discusses it with her senior doctor. Akash ordered me an apple juice in the cafeteria when we were waiting. But I'm in no mood to drink anything. I just want my baby safe.

"Angel don't worry. Everything will be alright. I'm here for you. Please don't stress yourself" He told and make me drink the apple juice.

After 20 minutes​, Sanjana called us and asked us to meet her senior doctor. We entered the doctor's cabin.

"Hello doctor, I'm Akash Mehra and this is my wife Mrs.Dharani Mehra. I hope Sanjana told you about our problem" Akash asked. I held my breath.

"Yes Mr.Akash, Sanjana informed me about it. Don't worry, its normal now a days and you don't have to abort your baby. I will make your wife's uterus strong enough to carry the baby through medicines and tablets. I can give you full guarantee for your baby life" doctor assured us. I got my breath back.

"Thank you doctor, thank you so much" We thanked her happily.

"Its my duty Mr.Akash. I'm not trying to scare you but your wife's uterus is weak and the placenta is really low, lower than normal. So you have to take very good care of her. She has to literally be on bed rest during her pregnancy time. But don't worry, if she takes my prescription pills regularly, stick to my diet list with regular check ups, she will be perfectly alright" Doctor said and I sat there listening carefully all that she told us.

"Don't worry, everything is going to be fine. So this is a prescription for your medicine and you will need to come next month for check up." Doctor said handing the prescription to Akash.

After we got my medicines, we left the hospital. Akash helped me into the car and he asked the diver to take us back to the house. We reached home and went to our bedroom. I sat on our bed and Akash sat beside me.

"Angel, tomorrow onwards you are not coming office" Akash ordered me.

"But Akash ...." he interrupted me.

"No ifs and buts angel. You have to listen to me, that's it. No more arguments" he said sternly.

"Please, listen to me once. My half work is pending. Atleast I have to finish that pending design. Please allow me" I pleaded him.

"Okay, you can work at home" he said and I looked at him, shocked.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked me.

"Earlier you told me that I can't work in our home because it's a company rule. But now you told me to work in our home", i asked him.

"Hmm angel but I...I lied to you" he said stammering.

"What are you saying?" I asked him narrowing my eyes.

"Angel, there is no rule like that. If we want, we can do our work in home" he said.

"Why did you lie to me?" I asked him confusingly.

"I want to make you strong and you can't really be strong until you face the world without any insecurity. So that's the reason I lied to you" he said and I hugged him tightly. Because of him, today I'm successful in my career life. I never knew that I will work in a company until Akash come in my life. He made my dreams come true.

"You are the best husband" I said and kissed his cheek.

"No angel, I'm not the best husband. Because best husband never slaps his wife, never treats his wife like maid and never insults his wife" he said and looked down.

"Akash, I already told you not to bring your past actions in our present and future because now you are nothing like that. You have your reason for behaving like that in the past. Now you realized your mistake and you also earned my forgiveness. You are the world's best husband, understood?" I said cupping his face and kissed his forehead.

"Okay my angel, I understand I'm the world's best husband" he said and we laughed.

Then Akash called Shanthi maa and asked her to come here and take care of me until my delivery. Maa happily agreed.

Then Akash prepared me a healthy diet lunch. I finished eating within few minutes. I felt vomiting sensation. So I immediately ran to the washroom. Akash trailed behind me and I immediately ran to the bathroom. The pregnancy sickness was definitely getting into me. Akash held my hair while I leaned over the toilet.

He gently rubbed my back with a worry on his face. I washed my mouth and rested my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me safely and carried me to the bed. He sat beside me, stroking my hair softly.

"Akash, please tell me, nothing will happen to our baby right?" I asked him.

"Nothing will happen to our baby angel. We will make it through this and whatever else life throws at us because I will protect you and our baby" he said confidently and kissed my forehead.

"Sleep angel" he laid beside me. I closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.

AFTER SOME HOURS.....................

I opened my eyes and was greeted with my husband's sleeping face. I smiled. I turned my head to the direction of clock and saw it was 6 PM. I sighed and got up slowly and carefully not to wake him up. Since I wasn't sleepy anymore, I decided to go downstairs and watch something. I made my way to the living room and sat down on a couch watching tv. I suddenly hear the door bell ring. I opened the door to find Shanthi maa. I hugged maa happily and we went inside.

"How are you Dharani? Akash told me about your health problem. Don't worry, nothing will happen to you and my grandchild" maa said.

"Now you came, nothing will happen to my child" I said happily.

"Where is Akash?" Maa asked me.

"He's sleeping" I replied.

Then we sat on the couch talking and chatting about lots of things. We stopped talking when we heard footsteps running down the stairs.

"Angel, where are you?" Akash shouted and came running downstairs. He stopped looking at maa, surprised.

"Maa, you came?" He hugged maa.

"How can I not come when my grand child needs me here?" maa said playfully. We chuckled.

After sometime Akash told maa about my food diet and she listened very carefully. She went to prepare dinner for us. We ate dinner made by her after a long time. It was so yummy. I missed her and her cooking at lot during our honey moon. Then we talked about some random things. Suddenly I yawned.

"Come on angel, let's go to bed" Akash said.

I nodded my head as a reply and we walked to our bedroom together. I laid on bed and he kissed my belly and told sweet things to our baby. He laid next to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to his body.

"Go to sleep Angel, Good night" he said and pecked my lips. I nodded my head before I fell into deep sleep.
