5 Months Later.......................

In the early hours of the morning, sleepily, I opened my eyes and turned to saw my husband, but he is not there.

Where could he be?

I quickly sat up and got off the bed. I went to the washroom and after taking a warm shower, I got ready.

Now I'm 7 months pregnant. My health is also improved a lot in these past months because of Akash and Shanthi maa. They never left my side. Since Akash decided to work at home, every contracts was sent to him at home by Aman.

And another happy news is that 3 months ago Avinash bhai and Ritika got married. It was a simple marriage in a register office. Avinash brother also forgave aunt because I asked brother to forgive her and shift to aunt house. Now brother, Ritika and aunt are living at their house happily. I sighed and draped my saree around me.

I looked at the mirror, feeling more disappointed with myself. I'm looking like a little elephant. I gained more weight. This is all because of Akash. He always feeds me without giving me any gap. Nowadays, he is not touching me much and making love to me. I feel so sad.

Nowadays, I am putting in more effort in my makeup.

I headed out of the room to look for my husband. I heard some sound from the gym. I went down and saw Akash exercising at the gym.

There are no words to describe my husband's handsomeness. His fuzzy, thin beard, muscles rippled across every part of his body. A prominent jaw curved gracefully around, and the strength of his neck showed in the twining cords of muscle that shaped his entire body. Strong arms, a firm chest and abdomen. He is wearing a sleeveless T-shirt with sweat pants hugging low over his waist. He was the man I could love for eternity.

Suddenly, my breath got knocked. Seeing him like this, tingling sensation spread all over my whole body. Sweat beads formed on my forehead.

God! What happening to me? This is all because of my pregnancy hormones.

I gulped looking at him. Then suddenly his eyes caught mine. He hurriedly went to my side and held my hand.

"Angel, I told you to call me when ever you came down the stairs! I will help you. How many times did I tell you don't try to do things alone?" He scolded me but all I want to kiss him sensually.

'Stupid! Control your damn hormones!' my mind voice scolded me.

"Akash, I am perfectly alright, and I can do things alone. You worry too much" I smiled.

"It's my duty to worry. Doctor already told me to take caution that you didn't work too much." I hugged me.

"Don't worry too much Akash. I and our baby doing fine. Because their father is here to protect us" I told him playfully. He sighed and suddenly picked me up in bridal style.

"Akash, what are you doing? I'm perfectly alright. I can walk, put me down" I told him, but he is never going to listen to me. I sighed and rested on my head on his shoulder. He made me sit at the dinning table. Shanthi maa served me breakfast while Akash went to take a shower.

"Maa, for today I will have only juice" I told maa.

"What? No way! At least, you have to eat your fruit salad, otherwise I will tell your husband" maa warned me.

"No-No No maa, please don't tell him otherwise he will feed me more" I said immediately started eating my breakfast without any complaint. Maa smiled.

Akash came down and sat beside me. He started eating his breakfast while looking at my plate to check my breakfast. I sighed.

"Akash you should take Dharani for a monthly checkup today" Shanthi maa reminded Akash.

"Yes, I know mom. That's the reason I'm getting ready" We finished eating our breakfast and left for hospital.

We reached hospital within 30 minutes.

"Angel, today I'm so happy" he told me.

"I know the reason for your happiness. Even I'm excited to see our baby in monitor screen" I told him happily, and he nodded his head. He touched my stomach.

"Baby, me and your mom are going to see you today" he said happily and smiled.

Doctor called us inside. We went inside the scan room. Doctor asked me to lay down on bed. She applied a cold gel on my stomach and moved the machine over my stomach. A picture appeared at the screen, and I smiled.

"So, there is your baby. It is developing very well" Doctor pointed at the screen. I smiled seeing my baby. Akash held my hand, and we saw our baby with a wide smile.

Then nurse wiped off the gel, and I got up, adjusting my saree. We went to the doctor's cabin to get the report.

"Your baby is perfectly fine Mr.Akash. You don't have to worry, but your wife should be very careful of her health. Make her have more fruits, especially apple. Dharani, you should have everything given to you without complaining" Doctor said, and I nodded my head.

We left the hospital and walked to the car. Akash helped me to get into the car. Within 30 minutes, we reached home. Akash carried me in his arms and placed me on the couch. Shanthi maa asked about my scan reports and Akash told her that the baby is perfectly fine.

I'm watching TV and suddenly TV ad showed a delicious chocolate cake. The thought of a yummy looking chocolate cake flew into my mind, and I couldn't fight it out. I had this sudden craving for a chocolate cake, which needs to be fulfilled badly now.

"Akash, I want a chocolate cake now" I told him, no more like ordered him. He suddenly stopped talking with maa and looked at me.

"Now?" he asked, and I nodded my head "yes."

"But angel, an hour ago you ate your breakfast. Then how can you eat the chocolate cake now?" he asked me. I looked at him shocked.

"Oh, so you think I'm foodie and fat right?" I asked him with tears in my eyes.

"What? When did I say that? No-No angel, please don't cry. Okay, I will buy you a 2 kg chocolate cake. Are you happy now? Please don't cry" he said and wiped my tears.

"You think I can eat the whole 2 kg cake? I know you are telling me indirectly that I'm foodie and fat" I said and burst out crying.

"Oh god angel! Who told you? You are not fat. Stop crying unnecessarily angel" he told and sat beside me while stroking my hair lovingly.

"Dharani, you are not fat. Don't cry. I will prepare your chocolate cake within 20 minutes" maa said, and I smiled at her. I heard Akash sighing. He went into his study room. Then maa went into the kitchen for baking my cake while I'm resumed watching TV.

Akash POV

God, please save me from my angel's mood swings. I went to my study room to get my laptop. Then I went downstairs and saw angel watching TV. I sat beside her working in my laptop.

Suddenly, the door bell rang. I opened the door to see Ritika and Avinash. I greeted them and invited them inside.

"Ritika!" Angel shouted happily.

"Shhh angel! Don't shout like this" I warned her.

"Sorry..." she said in a lower voice.

"How is your baby doing? Is everything's fine?" Ritika asked concerned.

"Everything is fine." Angel gave them a reassuring smile.

"How many months along?" Avinash asked.

"7 months." I answered.

"3 more months and the baby are born!" Ritika exclaimed.

"I think it's a girl" Avinash told, and I smiled.

"Avinash, how many times are we going to argue on this? This is a boy" Ritika said shaking her head and touching angel's stomach softly.

"No its boy!"

"No its girl!"

"Boy!"

"Girl!"

Oh god! They are arguing like five-year-old children.

"Guys, stop it" I shouted.

"Akash, your friend Sanjana is a doctor right? You should just find out what the gender is" Avinash grumbled.

"We already told you Avinash, we wanted it to be a surprise" I said, and he nodded his head. I noticed Avinash's face is tensed.

"Avinash, is everything's fine? You are looking tensed" I asked him and Ritika gestures Avinash through her eyes.

"Hmm, Akash and Dharani, please don't take me wrong. But I want to tell you something" Avinash told nervously. Angel and I looked at each other confusingly.

"Brother,tell me? Why are you so nervous? What's the matter?"angel asked him and he gulped.

"Dharani, mom wants to release Sanaya from jail. So yesterday I applied for her bail. I think tomorrow she will get the bail" Avinash informed, made my blood boil.

"How can you Avinash? How can you get her bail without informing us? You didn't even think about us. Because of Sanaya, my angel suffered so much. Today I came to know your real face. Whatever, Sanaya is your own sister right? So obviously you'll care for her more" I asked him coldly, and he looked hurt.

"Akash, please relax" Angel rubbed my arms soothingly.

"Akash, what are you saying? Dharani is also my sister. In fact, I love her more than Sanaya" he told me emotionally.

"Then why are you getting her out?" I asked him.

"Akash two days ago, mom went to jail to meet her. Sanaya said that she regretted her behavior and even asked for forgiveness. So, mom thought that we had to give her a second chance. That's why I applied for her bail" he explained.

"Akash, brother is right. Everyone deserves a second chance... I sighed.

I know everyone deserves a second chance, but my heart says that Sanaya will never change her behavior. Let's see what will happen.

Angel's sudden yelling broke my thoughts. "What's wrong angel? Are you okay? Is the baby's fine? Do I need to get you to the hospital?" I asked worriedly or more like freaked.

"Akash, I am fine. The baby just kicked" Angel said and we all are looking relieved. I smiled.

"Really? The baby is kicking?" Ritika asked curiously.

"Yes, sometimes the baby kicks" angel placed Ritika's hand on top of her belly, guiding it to where the baby was moving. She looked up at Avinash, excitement swirling in her eyes.

"Avi, come see this" Ritika told him and Avinash went and placed his hand on angel's stomach.

"You have no idea how happy you have made me sister" Avinash said before placing a kiss on her forehead.

Shanthi maa came and told her that her strawberry chocolate cake was ready. Angel squealed happily and started digging in her strawberry chocolate cake. I smiled looking at her.

"Angel, eat slowly. No one is going to snatch the cake from your hand" I told her softly. I asked maa to get a glass of fresh apple juice. I fed her the juice, and she drank it without throwing any tantrums.

"Oh god Dharani! You are eating so much. You already look like a little elephant. If you eat more, you are going to transform into a big elephant" Avinash joked, laughing out loud. Angel looked up at me with tears in her eyes. I growled dangerously and gestured Avinash to stop his stupid silly jokes.

I went to my angel. "No, No, my angel, please don't cry. Your brother was just teasing you. Am I right Avinash?" I asked him with a angry look.

"He called me an elephant Akash" Angel started crying badly.

"No, No, he didn't mean it Dharani" Ritika consoled.

"Avinash, console your sister, otherwise you are going to sleep on the couch for the rest of the month" Ritika warned and Avinash's eyes widened. He came to my Angel in vampire's speed and sat beside her.

"Dharani, my sister, I'm sorry. I was just teasing you, and you know naa. I always like teasing you. Please don't cry, my little sister" Avinash consoled Dharani.

After sometime angel stopped crying. I carried her in my arms and made her sleep in our bed. I kissed her forehead and went downstairs.

"Oh my god Akash! How can you handle her mood swings?" Avinash asked me to look terrified. I laughed at his expression.

"Avinash, my angel is my first baby, and I'm truly enjoying her every tantrum. Of course, her mood swings are really hard to deal with. So I just fulfill her wishes. You will understand this soon when your turn is up" I told him sincerely.

"My sister is very lucky. She was living in a hell since her childhood, but you made her life heaven" he said emotionally.

"No Avinash, You are wrong. I'm not making her life heaven, in fact, she is the one making my life heaven" I told him, and he smiled.

My angel is my heaven!
