Jamie smiled and left the hall. Soon, he reached Kane’s office.

Kane was the heir of the Brookes in Niumhi, and he was also the biological son of the master of the Brookes.

“We’re a family. We don’t have to be so polite toward each other. When I become the master of the family, I’ll let you manage this Hot Spring Villa.” Kane said, smiling.

“No. I just need a few bodyguards or a few gangsters who are good at fighting!” Jamie appeared cold. He quickly told Kane what happened just now. He did not mention the important facts, and he only said what he wanted to say just to twist the facts around.

After Kane heard that, he sneered, “Who the hell is that? A live-in son-in-law! He humiliates his own kind, and he’s a worthless sack of trash. How dare he humiliate the daughter-in-law of the Brookes?”

Soon, Jamie returned to the hall with a smug smile.
